AB de Villiers proved his undeniable brilliance yet again and played a memorable knock on a tough pitch for the batsmen. At Sharjah's pitch which has been a batting paradise so far, was on a slower side for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders' match on Monday (October 12). ## While all the other batsmen were struggling to find runs, AB de Villiers came and single-handedly stole the show for his sensational knock of unbeaten 73 off 33 balls with 5 fours and 6 sixes. His knock helped RCB to register a massive win 82-runs in the IPL 2020. ## RCB's skipper Virat Kohli heaped praise on ABD with whom, he added 100 runs off just 46 balls. He said that the team was looking to get around 165-170 runs but because of the ABD's masterful innings, they could reach on such a big target of 194 in 20 overs. ## "At the toss, the pitch didn't have the usual Sharjah sheen. Knew the wicket was going to get slower and slower. Barring one super-human, everyone struggled on that pitch. The talk was around 165-170. The preparation was really good. The three-week camp helped us. Have clarity of plans. Know exactly what we want to do on the field. It all depends on the mindset. It's very positive", Virat said in the post-match presentation with Murali Kartik. ## "On a pitch like that, only AB can do that. It was a special knock. We got 195 purely because of the genius of that man. Always things you can reflect on and say you can improve on these things. All about taking this momentum forward. Don't want to be complacent", he added. ## Meanwhile, RCB is moved up in the points table. Actor R Madhavan has hailed the action of detainment of the 16-year-old boy in Gujarat, for allegedly issuing a rape threat against cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's minor daughter last week.## The teenager issued the threat after Dhoni's team Chennai Super Kings lost a match to Kolkata Knight Riders in an IPL match last week. After this incident, many people had expressed concern and now, the boy was detained on Sunday from Kutch district, Gujrat. ## "Teenager Detained For Issuing Threats Against MS Dhoni's Daughter: Police Great job. Time to clamp down and put the fear of law and god on these faceless monsters who think they can do and say what they want on the internet. Even if they are teens", Madhavan tweeted.## The teenager "confessed" to have posted the threatening message on the Instagram account after the IPL 2020 match between KKR and CSK, the police said as stated by NDTV.## On the work front, Madhavan was recently seen in the OTT-released thriller film "Nishabdham", co-starring Anushka Shetty and Hollywood star Michael Madsen. Delhi Capitals that is already riding through Rishabh Pant's injury has got a big blow as Ishant Sharma has been ruled out of reminder of the IPL 2020 due to a muscle tear, the franchise confirmed on Monday (October 12).## "Ishant Sharma experienced an acute episode of left rib cage pain while bowling at a team training session on 7 October 2020 in Dubai. Subsequent investigations revealed that he sustained a left internal oblique muscle tear", the franchise said in a statement.## "This injury will, unfortunately, rule him out of the remainder of the Dream11 Indian Premier League 2020. Everyone at Delhi Capitals wishes Ishant a speedy recovery", the statement added.## Ishant initially experienced pain on his rib cage and it's been revealed that he has sustained a muscle tear. The pacer, however, featured in just a solitary game this season as injury kept him away from 6 of the 7 matches DC played so far. The only match he played was against Sunrisers Hyderabad in which he remained wicketless.## Ishant is the second player from Delhi Capitals who has been out of the tournament. UFC Fight Night 181 is set to take place on October 31, 2020, at the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.## A middleweight bout between former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall has been targeted for the event and is expected to serve as the headliner.## The pairing was initially scheduled to meet at UFC 198 in May 2016. However, Silva pulled out due to acute cholecystitis, which required a cholecystectomy. A middleweight bout between Wellington Turman and Sean Strickland was expected to take place at the event.## However, on September 29, Turman pulled out due to COVID-19 sequelae that enabled him from training after his two-week quarantine ended on September 24. In the last few years, there has been a lot of emphasis on making biopics in the Indian film industries, especially the biopic of sports stars that have been liked by the people. To keep the trend of biopics continue, one of the leading South Indian actors, Vijay Sethupati was roped in to star in the former Sri Lankan cricketer and legend of the game, Muttiah Muralitharan's biopic.## Muralitharan, who is arguably the greatest spinner of all-time, claimed 800 Test wickets and the title of the biopic also resembles the number of wickets he took in the red-ball cricket. The film will be shot in India, Sri Lanka, UK, and Australia. The shoot is slated to start at the beginning of 2021 and is set to release at the end of next year. ## The legendary off-spinner said that Vijay Sethupati is the best-suited actor for this film that he will do wonders. "Once the script was ready, we thought the best fit for this movie is non-other than Vijay Sethupathi", said Muralitharan while speaking on Star Sports show Cricket Live.## "I think he is a very talented actor and he will nail the bowling expressions. I trust Vijay completely as he is one of the greatest actors and I have complete faith that he'll definitely do wonders for the film", Murali added. ## Speaking about Muralitharan, Sethupathi said as per IANS, "It's really nice to listen to his story and spend time with Murali sir. He is like a stamp, he makes a mark wherever he goes with his charming character and personality".## "I love his real-life because fans have seen him in matches on the field, but very few have got a chance to know Murli sir's personality off the field. He's very adorable and lovable. He's such a beautiful person and his story needs to be told", he added.## The film will be made primarily in the Tamil language and will be dubbed in all South Indian languages as well as Hindi, Bengali, and Sinhalese owing to Muralitharan and Sethupathi's popularity. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer upcoming cop drama film, Sooryavanshi is no longer a possibility for Diwali release. Despite the cinemas are allowed to reopen with 50% capacity, the Reliance Entertainment CEO Shibashish Sarkar had earlier said that the makers can't release such a big film with 15 days of promotion time. ## "Sooryavanshi' and '83' have been ready for quite some time. 'Sooryavanshi' was originally slated for a Diwali release, but it's not practical. Even if theatres open up in November, you can't release such a big film with 15 days of promotion time", Sarkar had told IANS. ## While Ranveer Singh starrer, "83" still may release on Christmas, the makers, as per a leading entertainment portal, are planning to bring "Sooryavanshi" on Republic day 2021 week. Shibashish Sarkar had also suggested that they will be aiming between January to March to release Rohit Shetty directorial. ## Sooryavanshi is an action film and it is the fourth installment of Rohit Shetty's Police Universe.
