The schedule of the upcoming season of the Dream 11 Indian Premier League will be released on September 6 (Sunday), as per the latest reports. ## Earlier, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly had said that the much-awaited schedule for the IPL 2020 should be released by Friday which, of course, couldn't happen. ## However, as per the latest reports, the BCCI will release the fixtures of IPL 2020, which has been moved out of India to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the coronavirus pandemic, on Sunday.## "Schedule of IPL 2020 that starts from 19th September in UAE will be released tomorrow (September 6)", says IPL chairman Brijesh Patel as reported by ANI.## If reports are to be believed, the opening match still will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians which was originally scheduled. The director-producer, Vipul Amrutlal Shah is all set to produce as many as a dozen of short films. The filmmaker has said that there are stories that do not fit into a feature film or OTT web show format but still, these stories need to be told. ## "I have done around 1,000 episodes in daily soaps and made films also but there are some amazing stories that can only be told in 15 to 20 minutes duration. It's a different and exciting format and something that I have not attempted so far", he said.## "There are several ideas and stories that cannot fit into a feature film or OTT web show format but still, these stories need to be told, and today the format of the short film is available. It is a very exciting format, exciting content, and exciting way of narrating a story", the filmmaker added. ## The filmmaker who is known for helming movies like Namastey London, Aankhen, Singh Is Kinng, Commando series, and a few more will largely work with the new talented writers for the short films. He stated that it is excited to work with the young talent who he feels are way ahead of their time. ## He further stated that these new writers are amazing, well prepared, and very well knowledgeable about the work they do which makes anyone want to work with them. Coming as a big development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager, Samuel Miranda on Friday, September 4. ## According to NCB officials, the duo was arrested after 10 hours of questioning and after the agency got adequate evidence against them about their involvement in the drug case.## Earlier in the day, the NCB also carried out a raid at the residences of Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda. The department also seized Showik's laptop and mobile phone.## The NCB had also told a court that Showik used to order ganja and marijuana at the behest of her sister Rhea from drug-peddler Abdul Basit Parihar, who has been arrested and made payments to him over Google Pay.## Showik and Miranda will be produced before a court on Saturday. An NCB official said that the agency will seek their custody for interrogation and to confront them with the other arrested accused, according to IANS. ## Stay tuned...
