New Delhi, October 15 - Filmmaker Sandeep Singh has collaborated with the national broadcaster Doordarshan to announce Fauji 2, the new version of Shah Rukh Khan-led iconic television series.## Directed by Abhinav Pareek, Fauji 2 will star Vicky Jain and Gauahar Khan in the leading roles and will introduce twelve new actors - Aashish Bhardwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Amardeep Phogat, Ayaan Manchanda, Niel Satpuda, Suvansh Dhar, Priyanshu Rajguru, Aman Singh Deep, Udit Kapur, Maansi and Sushmita Bhandari.## The show will feature 11 songs with music composed by music director Shreyas Puranik. Sonu Nigam has lent his voice to the title track of Fauji 2, produced by Sandeep Singh and co-produced by Vicky Jain and Zafar Mehdi with Sameer Hallim as the Creative Head. ## The original show, Fauji was first aired in 1989 and was created by the legendary writer and producer, Lt. Col. Raj Kumar Kapoor. It revolved around the lives of Indian Army recruits, undergoing training at a military academy.## Fauji marked Shah Rukh Khan's television as well as his acting debut. He played the lead role of Abhimanyu Rai, a dedicated and determined soldier in training. Mumbai, October 14 - Over the last couple of months, the trade is buzzing with the potential maiden collaboration between Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj. While Aamir has confirmed to play a cameo in Lokesh's Coolie starring Rajinikanth, the duo has also been in the news for a full-fledged film. ## It was recently reported that Aamir and Lokesh have been in talks for quite some time now and that things were progressing in the right direction. Now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, the project in question is a superhero film and Aamir has asked the director to develop this idea into a full-fledged script. ## The report says that Lokesh is now looking to develop the same with his team of writers, before pitching the first draft to the Dangal star. If Aamir likes the final script, the superhero film could go on floors in 2026 after the duo complete their current commitments. ## Aamir is currently busy with comedy drama Sitare Zameen Par, scheduled to hit screens in March 2025, and will follow it up by taking a film with either of Rajkumar Santoshi, Zoya Akhtar, or Avinash Arun on floors in 2025, per Pinkvilla. ## On the other hand, Lokesh will start Kaithi 2 after completing Coolie which is scheduled to be released in 2025. Chennai, October 14 - In probably first of its kind experiment, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is to be used to dub Tamil star Suriya's voice in all languages in the upcoming much-anticipated Pan India movie Kanguva, directed by Siva. ## Producer Gnanavel Raja has said (via Only Kollywood) that there will be a fresh new style for Kanguva in terms of its worldwide dubbing, as the makers are opting for an AI process, which will make the lead character's vocals very similar to that of Suriya, through the technology.## It is said that different people will dub for Suriya in each language but it will later be altered to the actor's voice to give it an original feel.## Kanguva is the biggest movie for Suriya in terms of budget and scale. It has been one of the keenly-awaited Pan India movies that also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil debut. Mumbai, October 14 - Dharma Productions' love story drama Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri has reportedly been postponed to the next year. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the movie is a spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018), starring Ishaan Khatter, and Janhvi Kapoor. ## Dhadak 2, which is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018), was announced on November 22, 2024, release. According to Bollywood Hungama, it has now been postponed and the producers are looking at releasing the film on February 21, 2025.## Subject to the official announcement, Dhadak 2 will clash with Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 which is already confirmed for February 21, 2025, release. Tripti Dimri's birthday falls on February 23, so it will be a birthday treat if the movie is officially confirmed for a February 21 release.## The original movie, Pariyerum Perumal follows a law student from a lower caste who begins a friendship with his classmate, a girl who belongs to a higher caste, and the men in her family start giving him trouble over this. Hyderabad, October 14 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 defied mixed reviews to emerge as a big success at the worldwide box office, surpassing 400 crore gross collection.## Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie has minted approximately 401 crores which includes 324 crores gross at the domestic box office and an estimated 77 crores overseas through the third weekend (17 days). With this, it has become the second Telugu movie and the fourth Indian title of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Devara is the second film of Jr. NTR to top 400 crores worldwide gross after RRR, also starring Ram Charan. While the multiple factors worked in the favor of RRR, the latest box office hit has purely been carried by the stardom of Jr. NTR. ## Overall, Devara: Part 1 is the 7th Telugu movie of all time to achieve the milestone of 400 crores worldwide gross, after Saaho, Baahubali: The Beginning, Salaar: Ceasefire, Kalki 2898 AD, RRR, and Baahubali 2. Chennai, October 14 - Director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Cinematic Universe has been the talk of the town for the last few years. The former took to Instagram stories to point out alleged malpractice. ## In her Insta stories, Divya shared a photo of an empty theatre and claimed that all theatres are going empty for Jigra. The actress also alleged that Alia has bought tickets by herself and announced a fake collection of her movie, Jigra. ## "Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Chennai, October 12 - Superstar Rajinikanth's action drama Vettaiyan has topped 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office after the super strong second day. The movie had a mid-week release on Thursday and despite that, it took a solid opening of 64 crores globally. ## On its second day/first Friday, Vettaiyan dropped just around 25% at the domestic box office and grossed approximately 27.80 crores. Additionally, the movie minted approximately 14 crores gross collection internationally, making it a 42 crores gross second day worldwide. ## The rock-solid collection on Friday pushed the total to past 100 crores gross at approximately 105.80 crores, including 64.80 crores gross in India and 41 crores overseas. With this, it has become the 25th Indian movie and 5th Tamil movie of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Vettaiyan is the third movie of superstar Rajinikanth to top 100 crores worldwide gross collection post the Covid-19 pandemic after Annaatthe (2021) and Jailer (2023).
