The film adds to the industry's impressive streak of consistent hits in recent years. Headlined by Jayasurya, the third instalment of the popular franchise benefited from the makers' bold decision to stick to its original release date, despite the ongoing tensions in the Gulf region, traditionally the biggest overseas market for Malayalam films.
