Vamsi Krishna Reddy's UV Creations. ## The yet-untitled film marks the third collaboration between the Baahubali actress and the production studio after blockbuster after Mirchi and Bhagamathie. Ravi Teja Announces His First Pan-India Film; To Star In & As Tiger Nageswara Rao

Hyderabad, November 3 - Ravi Teja joins the elite league of actors with Pan-India films. On November 3, the mass actor announced his foray into the multilingual genre with the biographical film "Tiger Nageswara Rao". ## Produced by Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts, Tiger Nageswara Rao is based on real-life incidents of infamous bandit Tiger Nageswara Rao and the people of Stuartpuram. To be directed by Vamsee, the first Pan-India outing for Teja will be shot in Telugu and will be dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. ## It is said that director Vamsee narrated the script to the actor and he instantly agreed to step into the shoes of the daredevil robber of Stuartpuram, who gave sleepless nights to the authorities owing to his escaping strategies. The movie is set in the 1970s and will be shot in real locations. It will go on floors early next year. ## While the official announcement is yet to be made, it is reported that two popular A-listers are set to play Ravi Teja's love interests in the film. GV Prakash Kumar will be composing the music while Madie ISC will handle cinematography. SS Rajamouli Reveals Why He Didn't Direct Pawan Kalyan In Any Film

Hyderabad, October 31 - SS Rajamouli, who has been busy promoting his upcoming directorial, the magnum opus "RRR", which is the first film since Baahubali 2. During the media interaction recently, the Baahubali filmmaker had spoken elaborately on all the questions asked by his fans and the media. ## Having worked with some of the biggest Telugu actors over the years, SS Rajamouli was asked one of the fans why he never directed Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Megastar Chiranjeevi To Finance Fan's Cancer Treatment

Hyderabad, October 27 - Megastar Chiranjeevi has proved that he is not only a movie but also a real-life Megastar. The Tollywood superstar, in a compassionate gesture, has promised to finance the cancer treatment of one of his fans named Venkat.## Venkat, who is suffering from cancer, met Chiranjeevi at his office on Tuesday and explained his health condition to him. Despite his busy schedule, the megastar met his fan personally and came to know about his health condition. Touched by his story, Chiranjeevi promised him to help financially. ## The megastar also saw the medical reports of Venkat and advised him to seek a second opinion from a private hospital in Hyderabad. Box Office: Telugu Film 'Pelli SandaD' Surprises At The BO With Clean Hit Status

Hyderabad, October 24 - Telugu musical romantic comedy film, "Pelli SandaD" has surprised one and all at the box office. Despite getting bad reviews from critics and audiences, the movie has earned a clean Hit status in Telugu. It reported house full shows at some places of Hyderabad in the opening weekend. ## Directed by Gowri Ronanki, the movie has earned approx Rs. 7.80 crores net in Telugu. In the first five days, Pelli SandaD grossed approx Rs. 7.3 crores in India including AP/TG share of Rs. 4.41 crores. The movie cost between 5-7 crores and it turned out to be a profitable venture for the makers. ## It is a sequel to a 1996 film of the same name. The film marks the acting debut of Raghavendra Rao who directed the previous film. Hyderabad, October 10 - Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Megastar Chiranjeevi as well as other leading Tollywood actors including Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Ram Charan, among others cast their votes on Sunday (October 10) to elect new office-bearers of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), the apex body of the Telugu film industry. ## MAA members were voting to elect a 26-member executive comprising the president, general secretary, two joint secretaries, treasurer, and 18 committee members. Actor-producer Vishnu Manchu and actor Prakash Raj are the two contenders battling for the post of MAA president. ## Polling, which began at 8 AM at the Jubilee Hills Public School, was progressing smoothly. It was to end at 2 PM but was extended by an hour by the election officer, Krishna Mohan. There are a total of 925 MAA members and out of them, 883 members are eligible to cast their votes. Of them, 665 had cast their ballots. The counting is likely to continue till 8 PM, when the results are slated to be declared.## Retired employees of the Telangana Cooperative Society made elaborate arrangements for the polling in adherence with Covid-19 protocols. As many as 50 policemen and women were deployed as part of the security measures. The two parties have had a friendly camaraderie on the polling day as the two contenders battling for the post of MAA president shook hands and embraced each other to declare that they are all one. ## Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan was one of the first to cast his votes. Talking to reporters, the Jana Sena president declined to name the panel he votes for. He said MAA elections would have no bearing on the friendship between his brother Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu. Pawan said the film industry will not split due to MAA polls.## Megastar and MAA founding president Chiranjeevi said he had cast his vote as per his conscience. He said that whenever the MAA elections were held, the same acrimony was witnessed and called for putting an end to it. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi's brother Naga Babu told reporters that he cast his vote for the Prakash Raj panel. ## Genelia D'Souza, who had been staying away from Telugu films following her marriage to Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh, also came to Hyderabad to cast her vote.
