Mahakavi
Mahakavi Pampa, the first epic poet of the Kannada language, lived in the 10th century and composed Aadi Purana and Vikramaarjuna Vijaya. Known as Pampa's Bharata, Vikramaarjuna Vijaya offers a unique narration of the Mahabharata, while Aadi Purana chronicles the history and legends of Jainism. The movie Mahakavi follows Pampa as he serves in King Arikesari's court, learns under Guru Devendra Muni, and finds inspiration in his muse to create timeless poetry.
