Box Office: Hollywood Movie 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' Tops $100M Worldwide For The First Time For A24 Studio
Los Angeles, August 1 - A24 Studios' absurdist black comedy-drama film Everything Everywhere All at Once has topped a major milestone at the worldwide box office. The film has crossed the $100 million mark globally, becoming the first ever film for the studio to reach the mark, as per Variety.## Directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert "Everything Everywhere All at Once" was released in March this year and went on the become a sleeper hit at the box office. The multiverse adventure was re-expended at the USA theaters this past weekend from 170 to approx. 1500 theaters and this helped the movie to achieve the milestone of $100 million worldwide. ## So far, "Everything Everywhere All at Once" has generated $69 million in the United States and another $31 million internationally, putting its global tally at $100 million. Outside the domestic (USA) market, the United Kingdom has contributed the most with $6.2 million, followed by Canada ($5.1 million), Australia ($4.5 million), Russia ($2.4 million), and Taiwan ($2.3 million). ## For A24 Studio, the previous highest-grossing film worldwide was "Hereditary" (2018), which is a horror film that grossed $79 million globally while at the North American box office, it was "Uncut Gems", which was the biggest earner for the studio with $50 million. ## The movie stars Michelle Yeoh as a Chinese-American woman being audited by the Internal Revenue Service who discovers that she must connect with parallel universe versions of herself to prevent a powerful being from causing the destruction of the multiverse.
