Box Office: Jawan First Sunday/4th Day Early Estimates; All-Time Biggest Day For Bollywood
Mumbai, September 10 - Shah Rukh Khan is re-writing box office history books with his latest blockbuster Jawan which is scoring unheard numbers. After scoring the biggest single-day collection in Hindi on its 3rd day, the following day takes two steps ahead to unlock a new box office territory for Bollywood. ## "Jawan" has become the first movie ever to clock 70 crores net (unofficial) in a single day in Hindi. The estimates suggest 71+ crores net on its first Sunday/4th day and the collection might go towards 73 crores net depending on the hold in smaller centres. ## The 4-day extended opening weekend of the movie is around 252 crores in Hindi which actually exceeded expectations with the kind of response it is getting, something which was never seen before in Indian cinema. This is also the highest first 4 days collection ever for a Hindi movie, ahead of SRK's own movie "Pathaan".## Additionally, "Jawan" scored an estimated 8-9 crores in Tamil and Telugu languages today, for an estimated 81 crores net first Sunday/4th day all-time collection day which is the biggest ever for a Bollywood movie. The movie scored around 34 crores net over the 4-day weekend in two dubbed versions, pushing all-time weekends to over 286 crores net, beating "Pathaan'" 5-day opening weekend collection of 280.75 crores net to become the biggest opening weekend scorer for Bollywood.## Jawan will breach 300 crores net mark by tomorrow (first Monday) and will become only the third Bollywood movie of the year to do so.
