Box Office: Jawan First Sunday/4th Day Early Estimates; All-Time Biggest Day For Bollywood

Mumbai, September 10 - Shah Rukh Khan is re-writing box office history books with his latest blockbuster Jawan which is scoring unheard numbers. After scoring the biggest single-day collection in Hindi on its 3rd day, the following day takes two steps ahead to unlock a new box office territory for Bollywood. ## "Jawan" has become the first movie ever to clock 70 crores net (unofficial) in a single day in Hindi. The estimates suggest 71+ crores net on its first Sunday/4th day and the collection might go towards 73 crores net depending on the hold in smaller centres. ## The 4-day extended opening weekend of the movie is around 252 crores in Hindi which actually exceeded expectations with the kind of response it is getting, something which was never seen before in Indian cinema. This is also the highest first 4 days collection ever for a Hindi movie, ahead of SRK's own movie "Pathaan".## Additionally, "Jawan" scored an estimated 8-9 crores in Tamil and Telugu languages today, for an estimated 81 crores net first Sunday/4th day all-time collection day which is the biggest ever for a Bollywood movie. Mumbai, September 9 - Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has an explosive first Saturday at the domestic box office with collection nearing the first day total. The movie witnessing a jump of around 40% which is phenomenal as second-day numbers were itself huge.## According to the early estimates, Jawan is eyeing 66 crores net collection in Hindi on its third day. The final collection might vary a little bit here and there depending on the hold in smaller centres. Box Office: Jawan Second Day Early Estimates; Fantastic Hold

Mumbai, September 8 - After the record-breaking opening day, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan put up a fantastic hold on its second day which was actually a working day. The first day was a partial holiday due to Krishna Janmashtami which pushed the collection to some extra crores. ## The movie scored a drop on the morning shows on the second day/first Friday but picked up excellently in the evening and night shows as it is looking at, at least 47 crores net collection in Hindi depending on the size of drop in the smaller centers.## Jawan also hold well in Tamil and Telugu versions as estimates suggest 5-6 crores net for all-India 53+ crores net second day. The overall drop today is around 25-30% from the opening day which is a fantastic hold. Mumbai, September 8 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's A-rated social comedy drama film OMG 2 has emerged as big box office hit at the domestic as well as overseas. Directed by Amit Rai, the movie has already crossed the 200 crores gross mark at the global box office, and now, it is heading to 150 crores domestic net collection.## OMG 2 had a good 4th week despite the heavy competition as it scored approximately 7.40 crores net, dropping just around 52% from the third week which is very good hold.
