Director Abhishek Kapoor's upcoming untitled movie featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor will be jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar (Chairman & MD of T-series) and Pragya Kapoor of Guy In The Sky Pictures.## The movie is a love story set in North India. Ayushmann Khurrana will enact the role of an athlete and will be seen in never-seen-before avatar. Vaani Kapoor will be Ayushmann's love story. The popular reality show Bigg Boss is coming back for a fourteenth season soon. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, superstar Salman Khan has begin preparations for the Bigg Boss 14 and has shot the first promo from his Panvel farmhouse. ## In the Colors' promo video, Salman can be seen saying that the lockdown implemented due to the Coronavirus pandemic brought a huge speed breaker to people's normal lives, making him take up farming. He then said that it is now time to overturn "the scene" as he will be back to entertain people with Bigg Boss 14. While the actors Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani are waiting for their upcoming movies to release, the duo seems to have another big project in their kitty. ## According to a report in a leading portal, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani were seen in the Karan Johar's office on August 7 where they reportedly have signed the dotted lines of the film which is said to be a romantic comedy entertainer and will be directed by the Good Newwz director Raj Mehta.## Earlier, Varun and Kiara were supposed to do Shashank Khaitan's "Mr. Lele" but the film eventually got slaved owing to the difference of opinion with respect to the script between the stakeholders. ## If everything goes as per plan then it will be the second time when Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani will share the big screen together. Previously, the duo had an interesting dynamic in "Kalank" in which Kiara played Varun's girlfriend in an extended cameo. ## Interestingly, Kiara Advani has already several projects in the pipeline. India have retained the hosting rights for the men's T20 World Cup in 2021 while Australia will host T20 World Cup in 2022. Both the nations were not able to host the respective tournaments which were originally scheduled to take place in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ## Meanwhile, Women's ODI World Cup which was slated to be played in New Zealand in February-March 2021, has now been postponed to February-March 2022, the ICC announced on Friday (August 7) after a meeting of the International Business Corporation (the commercial subsidiary of the ICC). ## "We now have absolute clarity on the future of ICC events enabling all of our Members to focus on the rescheduling of lost international and domestic cricket. We will now proceed as planned with the Men's T20 World Cup 2021 in India and host the 2022 edition in Australia," ICC Chief Executive Manu Sawhney said.## Earlier, ICC had announced the postponement of the 2020 edition of the Men's T20 World Cup on July 20 and had also marked a window for the three men's events in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Read More... ## Important to know that the format for the Men's T20 World Cup in 2021 will remain as it was in 2020, with all teams that qualified for the 2020 event to be part of the event in India in 2021. However, a new qualification process will be in place for the Men's T20 World Cup in 2022.## For the Women's 50-over World Cup, five teams had already qualified for the tournament originally scheduled in 2021. The final three teams were to be decided through a qualification competition that was scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka in July 2020 but was postponed because of the pandemic. That qualification event will now be held in 2021 with the ICC yet to decide on the dates.## "We have taken the decision to move the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup to give players from every competing nation, the best opportunity to be ready for the world's biggest stage and there is still a global qualifier to complete to decide the final three teams," Sawhney said.## "There has been no women's international cricket played since the conclusion of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup earlier this year and due to the varying impact of COVID-19 globally, that is likely to remain the situation for a number of the teams. For the last few days, there have been some continuous reports that the production house Yash Raj Films will announce several projects one by one on its 50th anniversary.## Under the YRF50 announcement, earlier, there were some reports that Aditya Chopra, to make the last film of the Tiger series with Salman Khan, and Katrina Kaif, which will be made on a bigger level than the previous two films and will have a Hollywood level action sequence. However, the film is yet to announce but according to some reports, Siddharth Anand Film has got a tentative title in Pathan and SRK most likely to have Deepika Padukone as his leading partner in the film. ## Pathan will be an action thriller film which sees SRK play the most heroic character of his career. According to a report stated in a leading portal, "Shah Rukh Khan has been on the hunt to do an action film for a while now and Siddharth Anand offered him exactly what he was looking for. The character is rooted, earthy, larger-than-life, it's heroic, it's stylish and has the swag to pull off the big-scale action". ## The report further stated that "Shah Rukh Khan's role in Pathan will be very much the same as he played in movies like Don and Raees. So, it will be a total SRK movie".## The report suggests that both Tiger 3 and Pathan may be announced on the Yash Chopra's birth anniversary which is on September 27. Actress Rhea Chakraborty has been in the legal process regarding the Sushant Singh Rajput death case ever since Sushant's father KK Singh has filed an FIR against her and 5 others. KK Singh has made some serious allegations on Rhea including abetment to suicide and fraud. ## Rhea has been accused of money laundering regards to Rs. 15 crores missing from the late actor's account. The Enforcement Directorate has filed a case against her for the same asked her present before them for the questioning. ## The actress had requested the ED to delay the questioning regarding Sushant Singh Rajput in the death case as the hearing of his plea in the Supreme Court regarding the transfer of investigation from Bihar to Mumbai is going on. ## However, as per the latest reports, the ED has rejected Rhea's plea and has demanded her presence in the ED office in Mumbai at 11:30 AM on 7 August for recording her statement with regards to the money laundering in the case.## Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially taken over the Sushant's death case after the Central government accepted the Bihar government's recommendation for the CBI probe in the actor's case. ## Stay tuned...

The Board Of Cricket Control In India (BCCI) has officially suspended the title sponsorship with the Chinese mobile company Vivo for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League amid soaring India-China diplomatic tensions. ## BCCI, without giving any details sent out the one-line statement to say that the Vivo will not be associated with the IPL 2020. ## "The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Vivo Mobile India Pvt Ltd have decided to suspend their partnership for Indian Premier League in 2020", the press release stated. ## FYI, Vivo won the title sponsorship rights for five years from 2018 to 2022 for a reported sum of ₹2190 crore, approximately ₹440 crores per annum. Now, with Vivo is no longer hold the sponsorship rights for this year's IPL, BCCI likely to float a tender for the new title sponsors. ## As it was earlier decided, the IPL 2020 has moved to the UAE due to the rising COVID-19 cases in India. The tournament will kick-start from September 19 with the final set to be played on November 10. ## BCCI has made some changes for this year's IPL regarding the match timings, the number of the players per team squad, and a few others.
