Back in December 2020, Junglee Pictures had announced its second collaboration with Ayushmann Khurrana, with the film titled Doctor G. Set against the backdrop of medical, the makers have now announced the leading lady of the movie - Rakul Preet Singh. ## The actress will be seen with Ayushmann for the first time and has been roped to play Dr. Fatima, a medical student. The campus comedy-drama presents Ayushmann as Dr. Uday Gupta and Rakul's character as his college senior. The film to be directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, who is the sister of the renowned filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap. ## "I'm super excited to be a part of Doctor G. There are many firsts in this film for me, starting with my co-star Ayushmann. I am thankful to Junglee Pictures and director Anubhuti Kashyap for bringing us together. I was in love with the script from the time I heard it. It's an interesting story, revolving around the medical profession and set on campus. It will provide a new perspective to the audience. I can't wait to start shooting for the film", Rakul told ETimes. ## Director Anubhuti Kashyap said, "It's always amazing to see two talented individuals coming together. We wanted an interesting cast for the film and I am happy we have Ayushmann and Rakul. Their on-screen pairing is fresh just like the characters they play in the film. Their energies and chemistry will be unique and refreshing for the audience".## The movie 'Doctor G' featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet is written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat, who interestingly is a doctor-turned-writer and has drawn inspiration from his medical college life experiences. Roman Reigns again steeps to Owens. Roman Reigns looked for another one, but this time Kevin Owens with a Superkick.## The fight kicked off throughout the ThunderDome, Kevin Owens with Steel steps setting Roman Reigns on the table, Kevin Owens up above the ThunderDome, Roman Reigns was able to sense back and also climbed up. Carmella back inside the ring, Banks got a little distraction From Regnal.## Carmella was completely taking over the match, Carmella with a Slam for the cover, but kicked out at two, Carmella with a Chin lock, Banks tried to fight back with multiple elbows, Banks up to the top rope, for Diving Meteora Attack.## Carmella once again took over Sasha Banks, Fans started cheering up for The Boss as countered back with Back to Back Suplex, Banks caught Carmella with a Knee strike, Carmela was able to send Carmella flying out of the ring.## Sasha Banks was caught by Regnal in the mid-air, Sasha Banks with her move to take down Regnal, The referee ordered to be out of the arena, Carmella out with a Suicide Dive and got Banks back into the ring for the cover, but kicked out at two.## Banks looked for the Frog Splash, but this time Carmella had the knees up, Carmella quickly performed her submission move, but Banks was able to get out. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is being rumored to be one of the surprising participants in the 30-Woman Royal Rumble match this Sunday.## SmackDown star Natalya who already booked her entrant as well as entry number shared a picture posing alongside Stratus on her Instagram story. Akshay Kumar does not need to give an introduction, he has emerged as one of the biggest stars in the country after spending almost 30 years in the Bollywood film industry. Reflecting on his journey, Akshay says entering the industry is easier than maintaining one's position. ## "The challenge lies in maintaining yourself. Maintaining yourself in the industry is a big challenge. You will not believe that entering the film industry is still easier, but to maintain yourself in the industry and to keep up and cope up with everything going on, and be there in the industry, is a very difficult job", Akshay told IANS.## Over the years, Akshay has held on to the advice his father once gave him, as he surged ahead in his career. "I follow what my father taught me - keep working hard. Stop worrying about the future, everything will get sorted out. A lot of times, I have seen how the movie that I know is not good works. On the other hand, there are times when I know the film is good, and yet it doesn`t work. God has his own way of working and rewarding you", the actor said. ## Akshay, who has seen more failure than success at the initial stage of his career, has developed a reputation of backing stories that have hues of patriotism and nationalism, besides films with socially-relevant content. Speaking about the kind of movies he picks, the Padman actor said, "I do films that are responsible and also the films that are commercial. I am not a teacher".## "I do films I like, and the messages I like. Sometimes there is a message, and there is no message. I do different types of films and I want to continue doing them in the future. I don't want to be a teacher. I get associated with the message I believe in. I made a film on sanitary pads and did one on the importance of toilets. (I) Also made one on science. I have made different types of films", he continued.## Talking about his upcoming projects, the superstar has as many as 7 films in the pipeline and most of them are slated to release this year. There is "Sooryavanshi" in which he will be seen as ATS officer Veer Sooryavanshi. He plays a RAW agent in "Bell Bottom", and brings alive the heroism of Prithviraj Chauhan in "Prithviraj". After almost a year, the happy days for the cinemas are finally returning at a rapid pace. The next 8 to 9 months are going to be as big as they were in the pre-covid era for the film industries. After a dull phase, the most awaited movies such as Sooryavanshi, Bell Bottom, RRR, KGF 2, Vakeel Saab, Pushpa, Radhe, along with many others are lined up to release in the upcoming months. ## However, there are still some movies that are swinging in between a theatrical and a direct-to-digital release. One of them is the superstar Dhanush starrer Tamil movie, Jagame Thandhiram. As per the latest buzz, the makers of 'Jagame Thandhiram' are keen to release the film directly on the OTT, though, Dhanush is not happy with the decision as he wants the movie to release in the theaters first. ## According to reports, Dhanush wants to follow the pattern of 'Master' which premiered on Amazon Prime Video after 16 days of its theatrical release. On the other hand, Netflix reportedly offered a fancy price to the makers to beg for the direct streaming rights of Jagame Thandhiram. ## Meanwhile, in one of the interviews recently, director Karthik Subbaraj was very confident about a theatrical release of the movie and even lauded producer, Sashikanth for patiently waiting for theaters to reopen. And now, the reports of the OTT release of the movie have really come as a shocker to Dhanush's fans. ## Talking about the film, Jagame Thandhiram is an action thriller directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Produced by S. Sashikanth, and Chakravarthy Ramachandra, the movie also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi and James Cosmo in lead roles, while Joju George and Kalaiyarasan portray supporting roles.
