The director of Yash starrer K.G.F, Prashanth Neel who is currently busy with the production of his upcoming film KGF: Chapter 2, has joined hand with Baahubali star, Prabhas for his next action saga titled, Salaar. The movie will be produced by Vijay Kirugandur of Hombale Films. ## According to India TV News, sources close to actor Prabhas revealed that director Prashanth Neel met the actor recently. The director narrated a story to Prabhas and the latter was impressed with the story and signed the film.## Salaar will go on floors in January 2021. It is also the first time when the actor-director duo of Prabhas and Prashanth has come together for a film. It will be a pan India movie and will release in multiple languages. ## BIGGG NEWS... On Sunday (November 29), the veteran actor, Dharmendra announced on Twitter that the sequel of his 2007 release Apne is in the works. The movie starred Dharmendra along with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol in lead roles while Kiron Kher, Shilpa Shetty, and Katrina Kaif played female leads in the film. ## Now, the sequel of one of the best family entertainers will see the three generations of the much-loved family. Directed by Anil Sharma, Apne 2 will also star Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol along with the original male cast. Bollywood actress Amrita Rao who recently blessed with a baby boy says the concept of visibility for an actor has changed because of social media and talent management firms, as compared to the time she made her Bollywood debut in 2002. ## "Before the era of social media and PR machinery that we are seeing these days, an actor's popularity and celebrity status was a byproduct of his or her talent. When I entered the industry as a teenager, people noticed me because of my performance. These days, actors are becoming popular also because of their presence on social media. I think for an actor, being remembered for a character and film is more important", Amrita told IANS.## Amrita, who made her Bollywood debut with Ab Ke Baras, was shot to fame with movies like Ishq Vishk, Main Hoon Na, Masti, and Vivah. Bollywood actor Rahul Roy has suffered a brain stroke while shooting for a project in Kargil and is now admitted to the ICU of Mumbai's Nanavati hospital, according to India TV News.## The news comes as a shock for all the fans of the popular actor of the 90s era. The actor was shooting for his upcoming film titled 'LAC – Live the Battle' in Kargil when the incident took place. It was due to the harsh weather conditions that caused the stroke after which he was taken to Srinagar and then to Mumbai. ## "He was hospitalized two days ago after he arrived from Kargil. He was admitted due to a progressive brain stroke," the family source told PTI. "He is safe and recovering well. The recovery will take some time", they added.## Meanwhile, further, the report said that he has completed the shooting of his film which is based on the real-life event of Galwan Ghati. Directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta, the film is jointly produced by Chitra Vakil Sharma and Nivedita Basu. Rahul in the same will be seen playing the role of a Major. The film also features Bigg Boss 14 ex-contestant Nishant Singh Malkani.## Rahul shot to fame with the Mahesh Bhatt-directed "Aashiqui" at the age of 22. The Sayani Gupta-starrer, Shameless, by writer-director Keith Gomes is the official Indian entry in the Live Action Short Film category at the 93rd Oscars, to be held next year in April. The 15-minute film is a black comedy thriller that beat short films including Vidya Balan's Natkhat in the Oscars entry race.## Co-starring Hussain Dalal and Rishabh Kapoor, Shameless revolves around the theme of loss of human spirit due to technology, while it also attempts to raise relevant questions on issues of entitlement, humanity, and empathy toward the migrant class.## "My experience on 'Shameless' was fantastic and now we submitting to the Oscars, it's a wow! Keith is wonderful as a director and very gentle with his actors and crew. Hussain, of course, is a great friend, and it was a ball working with him. We have a silent communication and understanding when it comes to improvisations etc," said Sayani Gupta to India TV.## "I observe human behavior and love telling stories about the human spirit. Amid the lot of speculation about Thalapathy Vijay's Master for the direct OTT release, the makers have confirmed that though they have got an offer from a leading OTT platform, they have preferred a theatrical release of Master. ## In an official statement released by Xavier Britto and Lalit Kumar of XB Film Creations and Seven Screen Studio respectively, they have urged the cinema owners to stand by them in reviving the Tamil film industry. They also request fans not to believe any rumors about the film. ## "As we continue to battle the pandemic, we hope you are all safe and doing fine. We understand and can feel the amount of excitement the audience to celebrate our #Master in theaters. We await the Big Day to come, as much as you do.
