Mumbai, April 25 - Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's fronted action thriller Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has crossed 100 crores at the worldwide box office but it is not a chest-thumping achievement due to the poor progress in reaching the mark. ## Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has taken 14/15 days to reach 100 crores worldwide, a target which should have been achieved in the opening weekend itself but the chances were dismissed after the below-average start. ## The movie has grossed around 69 crores at the domestic box office and an estimated 31 crores overseas. BMCM is the 6th Bollywood film of 2024 to hit 100 crores worldwide and for Akshay Kumar, it is his first of 2024 and 3rd movie since the covid-19 pandemic. Tiger Shroff also scored his first 100 crores worldwide grosser in the post-covid era but is yet to score his first success.## Produced by Pooja Entertainment, the movie has left not much gas in the tank as it is heading for a finish under 115 crores worldwide gross collection which is a disappointing result for film featuring top talents of the country. ## Stay tuned...

Chennai, April 25 - Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli is showing excellent consistency at the box office since its re-release on April 20. After the excellent first two days, the sports action drama has no to minimum drop during the working weekdays. ## On its first Wednesday (5th day), Ghilli showed no drop and grossed another around 1.50 crores gross collection, pushing total domestic collection to around 13.25 crores in just 5 days. It is currently the 6th highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 in the domestic market. ## At the worldwide box office, the blockbuster film has crossed 17 crores gross mark, making it the 6th highest-grossing Tamil movie of the year. The movie could double up this total if it remains in theatres for a few weeks which will truly be a remarkable achievement to score. ## As said earlier, the absence of notable new releases is making Ghilli the first choice of moviegoers in the home market despite being the 20-year-old title. Mumbai, April 25 - Amid the steady decline in the popularity of digital platforms and to challenge other platforms in India, Mukesh Ambani's JioCinema on April 25 announced a significant two-third reduction in prices for its premium services for Indian customers. ## According to Mint, JioCinema premium subscription will now be available for as low as Rs. 29 per month for a single device and Rs. 89 per month for four devices in India. Previously, the platform offered its premium service at ₹99/month or ₹999/annually for streaming on up to four devices simultaneously. ## The new monthly subscription plan of Jio Cinema is almost 10X lower than the second-lowest Amazon Prime Video and Sony Liv which offer the premium plan at Rs. 299/month. Netflix, which is already facing difficulties in making a big impact in India, has the costliest premium plan Rs. 649/month. ## The new JioCinema plan includes online and offline viewing, in 4K quality, for foreign movies, TV series and kids' programming on any device in five languages. Bengaluru, April 25 - Mahesh Babu's AMB Cinemas is one of the best multiplexes based in Hyderabad which provides a memorable theatre experience with the best sound, sitting, and screen. The multiplex is now set to be expanded in Bengaluru, Karnataka, to thrill the audiences. ## It is said that a formal pooja ceremony for the new multiplex in the city took place a couple of days ago and the multiplex will soon be launched. Chennai, April 24 - Thalapathy Vijay's sports action drama Ghilli continues to impress at the box office since its re-release on April 20, Saturday. In the first two days, the movie grossed around 8.50 crores in India before taking the domestic collection past 10 crores with a strong hold on Monday. ## The movie minted around 1.75 crores in gross collection on its third day (Monday) which pushed the domestic collection to around 10.25 crores. The movie had another excellent hold on Tuesday with a minimal drop as it collected around 1.50-1.65 crores gross. ## The total India gross collection of Ghilli is around 11.75+ crores in 4 days which is already the highest for a recent South Indian re-release film. Worldwide, the movie has crossed 15 crores gross at around 15.50 crores which is excellent. ## The absence of notable new releases is making Ghilli the first choice of the audiences in the home market despite being 20 years 20-year-old film. Kochi, April 24 - Fahahd Faasil's action comedy film Aavesham has topped 100 crores at the worldwide box office, becoming the 7th Malayalam movie of all time and 4th of 2024 to achieve the feat.## Directed by Jithu Madhavan, Aavesham topped 100 crores gross worldwide on its 13th day or early 14th day (subject to overseas collection) emerging as one of the fastest Mollywood titles to reach the milestone. It is also the first Malayalam film of Fahadh Faasil to gross 100 crores worldwide. ## The latest blockbuster has created a frenzy at the box office and the list of 100 crores Malayalam grossers of the year with Manjummel Boys, Premalu, and Aadujeetitham and the all-time list also includes, 2018, Pulimurugan, and Lucifer. ## Aavesham is far from over at the box office and will continue to set the box office ticking in the coming weeks. Mumbai, April 24 - Recently, it was reported that the release date of Varun Dhawan's much-awaited action drama film Baby John would be postponed from May 31st as the shoot was still going on. Now, the makers have officially confirmed the development on the occasion of Varun Dhawan's birthday today. ## On April 24, the makers unveiled a new poster featuring Varun Dhawan with no mention of the release date, confirming the postponement. As per the recent reports, the team is now eyeing to release the film in June/July this year. ## Baby John is directed by Tamil director Kalees and produced by Atlee's A For Apple Studios in association with Cine1 Studios and Jio Studios. Mumbai, April 24 - Zack Snyder's epic space opera film Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver was the number one movie worldwide on Netflix's top 10 chart, but it failed to match the opening weekend numbers of its predecessor Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire which was released in December last year. ## Released on April 19, Rebel Moon 2 scored 44.2 million viewing hours from 21.4 million views in its first 3-day weekend. It generated 10.5% lower viewership than the first movie which scored 54.1 million viewing hours from 23.9 million views in its opening weekend.## Just like the first part, the sequel also opened to terrible critics' reviews while audience reception was also not encouraging which restricted it to below the first movie. The first movie managed to stay in Netflix's top 10 viewership chart for 5 weeks (including April 15 - April 21, 2024) during which it scored 78.4 million full views. ## The film takes place on the moon of Veldt where Kora and the crew of warriors venture to help the farmers to defend and fight for their home against the Motherworld.
