Mumbai, April 4 - Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is reuniting with his director father David Dhawan for a comedy entertainer. The film was officially announced on April 4, with Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films coming on board to produce it.## The yet-untitled film will be Varun Dhawan's immediate next after the upcoming action drama Baby John, scheduled to release on May 31, 2024. The details of their 4th collaboration are not revealed yet. ## Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan also has No Entry 2, co-starring Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor. There are rumours that Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Manushi Chhillar have been roped in to play the female lead but their casting is not confirmed yet. Now, according to the latest report by Peepingmoon.com, Alia Bhatt will be playing the role of a jazz singer and she is excited to play the character. ## "Love & War is a timeless story that delves into themes of love, loyalty, sacrifice, and the repercussions of relationship decisions. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia, and Vicky Kaushal play complex characters grappling with emotional turmoil while navigating their complicated circumstances".## "While the character details of the male leads are kept under wraps, Alia will be seen taking the mic to portray a jazz artist, and she's extremely excited to play such a character after crooning songs in her movies, Highway and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Mumbai, April 4 - Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor reunited for filmmaker Karan Johar's romantic-comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The movie was recently announced with a release date of April 2025. ## According to a report by Peepingmoon.com, SSKTK is set to go on floors by May this year, almost a year before it debuts in theatres worldwide. It will start rolling on May 4 in Mumbai and will be shot over three months across various locations in India and overseas. ## Varun Dhawan is currently shooting for Atlee's production venture Baby John and is expected to wrap it by mid-April before kicking off Dharma's film. Janhvi, on the other hand, is doing Jr. NTR-fronted Devara which is expected to wrap up soon. ## The upcoming romantic-comedy marks Varun Dhawan's third film with director Shashank Khaitan after Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Janhvi's second project with filmmaker after her debut film, Dhadak. ## Varun, meanwhile, has multiple films in the pipeline.
