AEW Dynamite airs every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on TBS in the United States. In Canada, AEW Dynamite is available through the TSN website. In India, AEW Dynamite airs on Eurosport every Thursday at 6:30 AM IST.##
The show is available on the TSN Direct streaming service at 10 pm Eastern, the same time that the show will air live on TNT and FITE TV.##
AEW Dynamite Results January 31, 2024: Highlights ##
The Dynamite opening segment aired, followed by a stunning pyrotechnics display on the stage. Providing commentary were Excalibur, Taz, and Tony Schiavone, while Dasha assumed the role of the ring announcer. ##
The inaugural match commenced with Jon Moxley's dramatic entrance through the crowd. As excitement escalated, the camera focused on four CMLL wrestlers in the audience, intensifying anticipation for the upcoming Bryan Danielson vs. Hechicero clash at AEW Collision. Jeff Hardy made his entrance from the stage, notably without his brother Matt Hardy accompanying him to ringside. ##
Singles Match: Jon Moxley vs. Jeff Hardy ##
Jeff initiated an early dive, targeting Moxley at ringside, and proceeded to choke him with an extended piece of cloth he had concealed. Excalibur observed that the match's regulations appeared to be somewhat lenient, permitting such intense maneuvers. Moxley promptly countered with a daring suicide dive.##
The two contenders continued their skirmish outside the ring, with Hardy eventually tossing Moxley over the barricade and onto the CMLL wrestlers in the crowd. After a brief altercation with the fans, Moxley returned to ringside. Hardy retaliated by hurling a chair towards Moxley's head, with Moxley managing to shield himself just in time. Hardy then charged, leaping off the ring steps, only to be met by a powerful punch from Moxley, leading into a picture-in-picture commercial break.##
Upon our return from the commercial break, the match's intensity continued to escalate. Moxley seized an opportunity and inserted a pen into Hardy's gauge hole in his ear, twisting it in a painful maneuver. Jeff managed to fight his way out of this painful hold, and the action spilled out to the ringside area. Once back inside the ring, they exchanged a flurry of strikes, with Hardy delivering a Manhattan Drop, a double leg drop, a basement dropkick, and an elbow drop, but only managing to secure a nearfall.##
Jon then executed a snapping piledriver, but it wasn't sufficient as Hardy kicked out. They found themselves jockeying for position on the apron, leading to a devastating Twist of Fate by Hardy. Climbing to the top rope, Jeff connected with his Whisper in the Wind, but it still wasn't enough to secure the victory. ##
Both contenders scaled the top turnbuckle, with Moxley countering Hardy's Twist of Fate attempts. After a back rake, Moxley executed a superplex. In a back-and-forth exchange, Hardy blocked a Twist of Fate, but Moxley retaliated with an Ace Crusher. Despite a resilient counter from Hardy with a side Russian legsweep, Moxley emerged victorious with a bodyscissors sleeper hold, prompting a referee stoppage and declaring him the winner. ##

After the match, Moxley offers sportsmanship with a handshake, but Jeff defiantly flips him off. The drama continues as Hechicero, Mistico, Volador Jr., and Mascara Dorada launch a brutal attack on Moxley. Amid the chaos, the locker room empties out. ##
The Blackpool Combat Club is absent, but wrestlers like Christopher Daniels, Matt Sydal, and 2.0 rush to the ring to rescue Moxley. The situation remains chaotic as the broadcast heads into a commercial break. ##
Dealer’s Choice Match: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Toa Liona ##
Page aggressively corners Liona, landing punches. Liona reverses a whip, striking back. Toa Toa intervenes, aiding Liona. Page counters with a crafty cradle attempt. A low bridge sends Liona outside. Liona returns, tossing Page onto the floor with one hand.##
In the ring, Liona's Banzai Drop attempt changes to a seated senton. Page counters a slingshot. After a commercial break, Liona dominates, crotching Page and delivering headbutts. A diving headbutt follows. Liona attempts a senton but crashes. Page capitalizes with a plancha, then a suicide dive.##
Page's Deadeye is countered, but a powerful lariat follows. Liona survives. Page hits the Deadeye, surprising Toa Toa. A discus lariat and headbutt nearly seal the win. On the apron, they exchange moves, ending with Page's stunning Orihara moonsault. Another slingshot attempt is reversed, but Page counters into a crucifix pin for the hard-fought victory. ##

In a backstage clip, the Young Bucks, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, arrive at the arena. Upset when addressed by short names, they fine a crew member $500, emphasizing their dedication to wrestling personas and the importance of their image in the wrestling world. ##
Singles Match: Komander vs. Wardlow ##
Adam Cole joins commentary. Wardlow dominates, effortlessly tossing Komander around. After a devastating F-5, Wardlow flexes for the camera. Komander fights back with a Frankensteiner and dropkicks. A daring Phoenix Splash isn't enough. Wardlow regains control with a powerbomb, securing the victory by pinfall. ##

Undisputed Kingdom confronts Komander, but Orange Cassidy and allies rush in, forcing the heels to retreat. After the break, a sit-down interview moderated by Tony Schiavone features tag team champions Starks and Morrissey against challengers Sting and Darby Allin. Starks disrespects Sting, Darby responds, and tensions rise. Ricky throws water at Darby, leading to a confrontation. Sting diffuses it, announcing a match next week in Phoenix. ##
Singles Match: Chris Jericho vs. Kyle Fletcher ##
Fletcher charges with intensity, executing a Michinoku Driver for an early near fall. Jericho counters with a low bridge and a triangle dropkick. The action spills outside before returning to the ring. Jericho dominates with punches, an elbow, and a kick, earning a two-count.##
After the break, Fletcher gains control, executing a brainbuster for a nearfall. Jericho fights back, locking in the Walls of Jericho. Fletcher reaches the ropes, breaking the hold. Back and forth, Fletcher hits a superkick, Jericho counters with a Codebreaker, and Fletcher delivers a turnbuckle brainbuster for a near fall.##
Fletcher evades Judas Effect but falls victim to it at ringside. Jericho runs Hobbs into the steps, hits another Judas Effect, and pins Fletcher for the victory. Chris Jericho wins in a hard-fought match against ROH TV Champion Kyle Fletcher. ##

In the hardcore match between Rob Van Dam and Swerve Strickland, RVD wasted no time using a chair as a weapon, hurling it at Swerve. Swerve rolled out of the ring to recover. ##
RVD relentlessly attacked outside, ramming Swerve into the barricade and delivering a kick while seated in a chair. RVD leaped from the apron with a spin kick, amusing Samoa Joe on commentary, as the chaos continued into a commercial break. ##
In a hardcore showdown, Swerve Strickland and Rob Van Dam unleashed chaos with chairs and high-flying moves. Brian Cage and Hook's interference added a twist. Swerve executed a daring double stomp, while RVD attempted a Five Star Frog Splash but missed. In the end, Swerve dominated with a Swerve Stomp for the pinfall win, as Samoa Joe voiced frustration with AEW's roster. ##
