Hyderabad, October 21 - Telugu star Nani has reunited with director Vivek Athreya for their second film together, after 2022's "Ante Sundaraniki". The movie, tentatively titled Nani 31, will be produced by DVV Entertainment.## The movie was announced through a video in which Nani and director Vivek can be seen getting ready, with thrilling background music. The makers also announced that they will release something named 'Unchained' on October 23, while the film's muhurtham will take place a day later on October 24. ## "Nani 31", unlike "Ante Sundaraniki" which was a romantic comedy, is touted to be an action drama. Priyanka Arul Mohan has been confirmed as the female lead while SJ Suryah is said to be playing the lead antagonist in the film. Chennai, August 4 - Superstar Rajinikanth will next team up with "Jai Bhim" director TJ Gnanavel. Tentatively titled Thalaivar 170, the movie will be produced by Lyca Productions and it was officially announced in March this year on the occasion of Lyca chairman, Subaskaran's birthday. ## The pre-production work of "Thalaivar 170" is going on at a rapid pace as the makers are in the process to lock the entire star cast. Meanwhile, the latest reports have surfaced online that Lyca has roped in a stellar cast for the movie. ## As reported previously, legendary Amitabh Bachchan will be playing a parallel lead to Rajini in "Thalaivar 170" which marks his Tamil debut. Hyderabad, July 13 - Natural star Nani and Mrunal Thakur teamed up together for the first time for a drama movie which has officially been titled "Hi Nanna". The movie is being directed by debutante Shouryuv. ## The title and the first look poster with a glimpse of the movie were launched today (July 13). The movie revolves around Nani, who is playing the role of father to a six-year-old girl, and Mrunal Thakur who seems to have an intriguing role. ## The poster shows Nani standing beside a wall checking his phone and carrying the little girl on his shoulder as she gives a flying kiss to Mrunal Thakur standing behind them. The 1-minute 15 seconds glimpse video introduces Nani, his daughter, and Mrunal and it takes an interesting turn when Mrunal as Yashna calls the actor "Nanna" means Dad. ## The background music by Hesham Abdul Wahab is another major plus in the glimpse video as it is soothing and heart-touching. Mumbai, May 18 - Telugu actor Nani's period action drama film Dasara is getting ready for its post-theatrical streaming release on Netflix. The movie was released theatrically in March of this year and went on to become a big hit in the original Telugu version with a worldwide gross collection of over 100 crores.## Directed by debutante Srikanth Odela, "Dasara" was a Pan India release, however, it failed badly in other languages without making any impact. Hyderabad, April 8 - Natural star Nani and Keerthy Suresh-fronted period action drama film Dasara has crossed the 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office, becoming the first film of Nani to reach the milestone. ## Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara crossed the 100 crores mark on its 8th day and has so far grossed approx. 106 crores worldwide (10 days). At the domestic box office, the movie has minted approx. 86 crores, including approx. 68 crores in Telugu states. ## Dasara was a multi-lingual release, however, it failed to create any impact other than the Telugu language in which it has so far collected approx. 80 crores gross while other languages have contributed around 6 crores gross. ## At the overseas box office, Dasara has scored around 20 crores gross so far. The movie did good business across Telugu states as well as overseas. ## Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara has become the highest-grossing film of Nani's career as a lead hero. On the 4-day opening weekend, it grossed approx. 84 crores worldwide, surpassing MCA Middle-Class Abbayi's 70 crores approx. worldwide total in 2017.## The movie has performed brilliantly in Telugu states, grossing 55 crores, including approx. 33.50 crores share collection. Hyderabad, April 1 - Natural Star Nani and Keerthy Suresh-fronted period action drama Dasara was in full flow on the opening day of its release at the domestic as well as overseas box office. Directed by debutante Srikanth Odela, the movie shattered all the records of the previous films of Nani and Tier-2 Telugu actors. ## Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, Dasara grossed an excellent 23.50 crores, including approx. 14.20 crores share in Telugu states on the first day, which is a record for a non-super star's film. The previous record belonged to Vijay Deverakonda's LIGER which grossed approx. 15 crores, including approx. 9 crores share in AP/TG. ## Nani's previous biggest opening-day grosser movie was Middle Class Abbayi (MCA) which scored approx. 7.50 crores share in AP/TG. Mumbai, March 23 - Telugu star Nani is heavily promoting his upcoming period action drama film Dasara in the Hindi belt.
