Shah Rukh Khan Becomes The Second Indian Actor To Score 1000+ Crores India Net Collection In A Single Year
Mumbai, September 18 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has unlocked a new box office territory as he becomes the first Bollywood and the second Indian actor to score a 1000 crore net collection at the Indian box office in a single year. ## Shah Rukh Khan has two releases in 2023 so far in the form of "Pathaan" and "Jawan", and both movies are currently the top two highest-grossing Indian films of 2023, respectively. Apart from being the biggest grossers of the year, "Pathaan" and "Jawan" have put SRK in a league of his own.## Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, "Pathaan" was released in January this year and went on to score 543 crores net collection, including 524+ crores in the Hindi language. It is currently the highest-grossing movie in Hindi as well as in a single language in terms of net collection.## "Jawan", which is currently playing in theatres, is directed by Tamil director Atlee Kumar and just like "Pathaan", the action thriller is running riot at the box office. It has scored approximately 478 crores net collection, including 430+ crores in the Hindi language in just 11 days so far. ## The combined net collection of "Pathaan" and "Jawan" is 1020+ crores and with the 12th-day collection of "Jawan", it is nearing 1035 crores which makes Shah Rukh Khan, the highest net collection scoring Indian actor in a single year. Superstar Prabhas was the first Indian actor to cross the milestone of 1000 crores net collection in a single year when his "Baahubali 2", directed by SS Rajamouli, scored 1030 crores net in all versions in 2017.## "Jawan", meanwhile, is on course to become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie at the domestic box office. It will cross 500 crores net mark in all versions by September 19 and is likely to beat "Pathaan's" lifetime total during the 3rd week to claim the number 1 spot.## Stay tuned...
