Los Angeles, November 6 - Tom Hardy's Marvel movie Venom: The Last Dance is trying to rebound after a lower-than-expected opening at the domestic box office. The superhero movie surprisingly had a good hold in the second weekend and is keeping this momentum going during the weekdays. ## Meanwhile, the movie had a good second Tuesday domestically which saw the collection witnessing a surge of over 55% from Monday for $3.36 million. It was the presidential election day in the US and instead of focusing on the outcome of the important event, the Americans chose to watch Venom 3 on the big screen. ## According to the local reports, to divert their attention from the election outcome, many Americans went to watch the film and that has helped Venom 3 to score the collection it got on Tuesday which pushed its total domestic collection to $95.3 million in 12 days. ## At the worldwide box office, Venom 3 has crossed $325 million, including $230+ million internationally. Mumbai, November 6 - Director Priyadarshan's Bhagam Bhag starring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal stands as one of the finest comedy films in Bollywood. The film was a box office hit and earned a cult status with immense popularity over the years. ## Over the last couple of years, the chatters regarding the sequels to iconic comedy films have been gaining momentum and Bhagam Bhag is one of them. While the sequels to some of the classics are already in development, Akshay Kumar has reportedly acquired rights to the Bhagam Bhag sequel as with the original cast. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar has acquired the rights for this comic caper from Shemaroo as he intends to make its second part soon. It is said that the actor-producer has already put Bhagam Bhag 2 in the scripting stage with a fresh set of writers. ## The report further added that Akshay Kumar is looking to reunite with the OG duo of Govinda and Paresh Rawal for the sequel. The director will be announced once the script is completed and if all goes well, the makers are aiming to take the film on floors by the end of 2025 for a 2026 release. ## Meanwhile, Akshay has multiple films in the pipeline. Mumbai, November 6 - The horror-comedy franchise Bhool Bhulaiyaa continues to climb new heights at the box office. The Kartik Aaryan-fronted latest instalment Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has breached the milestone of 200 crores gross worldwide, becoming the 5th Bollywood movie of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Directed by Anees Bazmee, BB3 scored approximately 20 crores gross on Tuesday which took its total collection to around 208 crores worldwide in just 5 days. The collection includes 165 crores from the domestic and 43 crores from overseas box office. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the second film of Kartik Aaryan to enter the 200 crores club after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which minted approximately 265 crores gross. It is also director Bazmee's second movie to achieve the milestone after BB2. ## Actress Triptii Dimri debuted in the 200 crores club with the latest hit while Vidya Balan has her second movie after Mission Mangal and so is for Madhuri Dixit after Total Dhamaal in this prestigious box office club. Mumbai, November 6 - Director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana has officially been announced months after going into production. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Lankesh, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. ## The epic will be released in two parts with the first part coming on Diwali 2026 and part 2 on Diwali 2027. Easily the biggest Indian movie in the making, Ramayana is produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios in association with Yash's Monster Mind Creations. ## The Oscar-winning combo of Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman is on board to do music and background score while DNEG, which has won multiple Oscars, will be doing the VFX of Ramayana. Los Angeles, November 6 - Allu Arjun's Puhspa 2 - The Rule has surpassed the final USA premiere pre-sales of Pushpa - The Rise with 29 days still left. ## Released during the pandemic, the first movie had a rather average opening with $400K for the premiere. The upcoming blockbuster went on sale a couple of days and in no time, the pre-sales have crossed $415K from 2750 shows and sold over 15K tickets for the premiere which is scheduled for December 4. ## Pushpa - The Rise's lifetime collection in North America was around $2.5 million and Pushpa 2 will outgross these numbers with premiere pre-sales only. The film is looking to score the biggest premiere day for an Indian movie in North America. ## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 has been hot in the trade since the first part - Pushpa: The Rise released in 2021. Mumbai, November 5 - Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 continue to put a good show at the box office as both movies are looking at solid Tuesday domestically. The former is slightly ahead of BB3 as per trends but not by much which is fantastic. ## According to early estimates, Singham Again is expected to score in the range of 13.50-14 crores net on its first Tuesday (5th day) which is a drop of around 25% from Monday. The hold is good considering the film is coming after the Diwali holiday period. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, on the other hand, is having a neck-to-neck fight with Singham 3 during the weekdays after a solid weekend. As per early estimates, the horror-comedy is expected to score in the range of 13-13.50 crores net. Depending on the mass belt, the final collection of both films might be similar or have a minor difference. ## The total collection of Singham 3 after 5 days has crossed the 150 crores mark at around 153+ crores net, heading for 170+ crores net first week while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is around 137 crores net, expected to be around 155+ crores net week. ## The Diwali holiday effect is still there which is proving to be beneficial for both films. Mumbai, November 5 - The first teaser/trailer of actor Varun Dhawan's much-awaited action drama Baby John has witnessed unprecedented viewership and easily one of the highest ever for a Bollywood movie in the first 24 hours across social media platforms. ## The teaser/trailer was launched on November 4 as Taster Cut and it received a unanimously positive reception among the fans and neutral audiences. The makers officially announced that the teaser scored 157.10 million views across social media platforms in the first 24 hours. ## On YouTube, the teaser garnered 22.4 million views while on Instagram, the blockbuster promo scored massive 90.40 million views. On Facebook, the Taster Cut generated 42.4 million views while X delivered 281K views on its full first day. ## The teaser of Baby John has proved to be a hype-raiser. The film is an adaptation of Thalapathy Vijay's Tamil movie Theri (2016), directed by Atlee. The Hindi film is directed by Tamil director Kalees while Atlee produced it under his banner A for Apple Productions in association with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios. ## The film stars Varun Dhawan in the title role, alongside Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff in prominent roles. Hyderabad, November 5 - Natural star Nani is in top form with back-to-back successes at the box office and is looking to continue the streak with the upcoming films. Mumbai, November 5 - Director Rohit Shetty's action entertainer Singham Again has entered the 200 crores club at the worldwide box office in just 4 days, becoming the 4th Bollywood movie of 2024 to achieve the feat after Fighter, Shaitaan, and Stree 2. ## The Ajay Devgn-starrer had a very good first Monday worldwide with approximately 26 crores gross, including 21.50 crores (18 crores net) domestically. This pushed the total collection to approximately 213 crores gross worldwide which includes 167.50 crores gross in India and 45 crores overseas. ## Singham Again is the 6th movie of Ajay Devgn to hit 200 crores worldwide after Tanhaji, Drishyam 2, Golmaal Again, Total Dhamaal, and Shaitaan. If includes RRR and Gangubabi Kathiawadi in which the actor played extended roles, then has a total of 8 movies in the 200 crores club. ## For director Rohit Shetty, the latest hit is the 7th movie to achieve the milestone of 200 crores while for actress Kareena Kapoor also, Singham 3 is her third movie in the prestigious box office club. Chennai, November 5 - Director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Cinematic Universe featuring some of the biggest stars of Tamil cinema has been the talk of the town and the maverick filmmaker has now shared the details of the upcoming films of LCU. ## The LCU began with Karthi's Kaithi in 2019, followed by Kamal Haasan's Vikram (2022), and Thalapathy Vijay's Leo (2023), and all three films became massive hits. The next film in the universe is Raghava Lawrence's BENZ which Kanagaraj writes but he won't be directing it.## As already announced, Lokesh's next LCU directorial is Kaithi 2 which begins next year. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the filmmaker said that he has plans to make Suriya's Rolex as a standalone film in the LCU and it will be next after the Kaithi sequel. ## Loki revealed that after Relox, he will make Vikram 2 and that will be the end of LCU. Meanwhile, the filmmaker has seemingly scrapped plans to make LEO 2 with which he wanted to conclude his cinematic universe. ## The director said that he would have made LEO 2 if Thalapathy Vijay hadn't announced his political entry. As known to all, Vijay has announced his retirement from films after his film with director H. Vinoth which is currently on floors. With this, the possibility of a sequel to Leo, which was supposed to happen, is also gone. ## However, Vijay might still appear in the universe, at least, one more time. Mumbai, November 4 - After the excellent first weekend with over 120 crores net collection, Ajay Devgn's cop action drama Singham Again scores a strong hold on the crucial first Monday with a drop of around 50% from Sunday which is fantastic considering the movie is coming after strong holiday weekend.## According to early estimates, the Rohit Shetty's directorial venture scored in the range of 17-18 crores net. This might go higher depending on mass belts but still fantastic numbers on the working day and in a major clash. This takes the total collection of the movie to around 139 crores net in 4 days.## The initial word of mouth seemed to be mixed but the strong Monday hold indicates the acceptance of the movie among the audience which is a good sign going forward as the movie has an open run with BB3. The first full week can be 175+ crores net which is fantastic. ## Kartik Aaryan-fronted horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is also putting up a solid show at the box office and after legging behind Singham Again the opening weekend despite excellent numbers of 106 crores net, the movie has started matching the daily collection. ## Word of mouth for BB3 is positive which was expected to give the movie an edge over Singham Again at some point. According to the early estimates, the film scored in the range of 17-18 crores net. The numbers are pretty much similar to SA today and the exact position will be known by tomorrow morning. ## The total collection of BB3 is around 123+ crores net after 4 days and the first week is headed to 160 crores net which is excellent. As said, there is no new Bollywood film for at least a month so that is a big advantage of both BB3 and SA. However, there is the Tamil movie Kanguva, scheduled for November 14, which is expected to get a good number of screens. So how much it affects both the films needs to be seen. ## Stay tuned...

Chennai, November 4 - Thalapathy Vijay has time and again proved that he is easily one of the biggest if not the biggest stars Tamil cinema has produced and the actor is gearing up to flex his mussels for one last time with Thalapathy 69, directed by H Vinoth. ## As confirmed by the actor, Thalapathy 69 is his last film as he is venturing into politics so the anticipation around the film is sky-high. The shoot for the same was recently commenced and the next schedule is ongoing where talkie portions are being filmed. ## Meanwhile, the theatrical rights of the film are already getting locked despite not a single asset from the film being released yet. Vijay's films have always been darlings in the trade and the same is happening with the upcoming one which has reportedly fetched a record overseas deal. ## According to the latest Tamil media reports, Phars Films has acquired overseas theatrical rights of T69 for 78 crore which is said to be the highest for a Tamil title. This is purely due to the stardom of Thalapathy Vijay whose last few films have done phenomenally at the international box office. ## T69 is produced by KVN Productions and this marks the studio's maiden Tamil venture. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Menon, Narain, and Prakash Raj in key roles. It will be released in October 2025 in multiple languages. ## Stay tuned...
