Awarapan 2 has demonstrated significant resilience as it navigates through its third week at the box office. After a steady run in its initial fortnights, the film has officially breached the 200 crore milestone globally, cementing its status as a major commercial success. By the end of its third weekend, the total worldwide gross stands at 209.35 crore. This is supported by an India gross of 176.30 crore and an overseas contribution of 33.05 crore. On the net collection front, the film has amassed 147.90 crore in India across 132,462 shows, showing that the audience interest remains intact even as new releases enter the fray. The third weekend started with a notable surge. On Day 15, the film collected a net of 1.20 crore, which represented a massive 100 percent growth compared to the previous Thursday. This jump was fueled by strong evening and night shows, pushing the overall occupancy for the day to 41.69 percent. Regional performance on Friday was particularly strong in Ahmedabad, which saw 42.5 percent occupancy across 74 shows, while NCR held the volume with 195 shows at 37.8 percent occupancy. Other cities like Surat and Pune also contributed significantly, recording 38.5 percent and 30.8 percent respectively. The overall occupancy reached its highest point for the weekend at 44.54 percent. Lucknow recorded a standout performance on Sunday with a staggering 51.3 percent occupancy across 38 shows. NCR also saw its occupancy climb to 38.8 percent even with a reduced count of 184 shows. However, Surat faced a cooling trend on Sunday, dropping to 19.8 percent occupancy, while cities like Pune and Mumbai continued their upward trajectory at 43.3 percent and 32.5 percent respectively. For the current weekend, the platform recorded 28,730 tickets on Friday and 22,160 on Saturday. In the premium multiplex chains—PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis—the film recorded a combined total of 80.09 lakh over the weekend. PVR led the contributions with 43.89 lakh, followed by INOX at 24.42 lakh and Cinepolis at 11.78 lakh.
