Ajey Nagar, who is popular as CarryMinati on YouTube, will enter Bollywood with a role in the Amitabh Bachchan-Ajay Devgn starrer, MayDay. He will play a social media sensation in the movie, which is based on the real life incidents. ## "I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to be aligning creative forces with such reputed personalities from the film fraternity. I'm eagerly looking forward to being a part of this brand-new adventure and learning a thing or two about acting while I'm at it", CarryMinati said as reported by India TV.## "In the past, I've got offered film roles but I agreed to be a part of this project because I had the opportunity to play myself and bring my alias, Carry Minati alive on the 70 mm screen. I remember enacting these skits as a child and my parents always thought I'd grow up to be an actor. You see acting is something that comes to me naturally just like music so it's no rocket science for me really", he added.## CarryMinati has a message for his fans. "For all my anxious fans out there, I'm just exploring and experimenting within the creative gamut, but content creation will always be my passion and true calling", he shared.## Mayday is directed and produced by Ajay, and the film marks his return on screen with Big B after Major Sahab, Khakee, Satyagraha and Hindustan Ki Kasam. After 10 months, Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur visited a movie theatre amid the Covid-19 pandemic to watch Tenet. She termed the experience surreal. Nimrat took to Twitter to describe 'How it was' as she watched Christopher Nolan directorial on the big screen, all alone.## "Today, nearly after 10 months, I was in a movie theatre, all by myself, like a child in a private magic show, watching a mind-bending masterclass in science fiction by one of the world's greatest ever. But for the first time ever, a story seemed lesser impossible than our reality", Nimrat wrote as she shared photos of herself wearing a mask from the completely empty theatre.## "The surreality of this experience I hold very close to my heart, as I do the sheer resilience of the human spirit. Filmmaker Patty Jenkins says she is hoping to use her upcoming film, Wonder Woman 1984, to add to the conversation on how each of us can discover the hero within. The $200 million-budget superhero adventure was originally supposed to release earlier this year but got delayed repeatedly amid the COVID crisis. Finally, the Gal Gadot-starrer will open in India just ahead of Christmas, on December 24.## "I hope that people come to the film and love it, of course. But I also hope that everyone gets something more out of it as well", Jenkins said as reported in Zee News.## "I want it to be a great time and a great superhero film experience, but I also hope to use our film to add to the conversation in this world about how each of us can find the hero within. That's what this world needs, so I'm so happy to get to be a part of that thought process", she added.## Gadot reprises her role as Diana Prince and her superhero alter ego Wonder Woman in the sequel of the 2017 DC blockbuster. The much-awaited Wonder Woman 1984 teases the beginning of a "new era of wonder" with a new battle, new armor, a new set of villains, edgier action, and a reunion with her long-lost love.## Opening up about the story and the character, the filmmaker said, "Well, in general, DC characters are natural-born heroes, and their stories are true heroes' journeys about these true north heroes who power comes easily to, and what to do with that power is their struggle".## "I'm drawn to that issue of how to be good and what being a hero is. Wonder Woman gives me that opportunity.
