Mumbai, October 17 - Varun Dhawan's much-anticipated action drama Baby John teaser is getting ready to launch this Diwali before its December 25 release during the Christmas weekend. The film marks Tamil filmmaker Atlee's maiden Bollywood production which is directed by Kalees.## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, Atlee and Varun Dhawan are set to unveil the teaser of Baby John on Diwali, November 1st. The promo will also be attached with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn's highly-awaited Singham Again which is scheduled to be released on the same day.## It is said that the makers have cut a massy, action-packed 1-minute and 30-second teaser. After the teaser, the team will start its full-length promotional campaign with the release of songs, followed by the trailer in early December.## Baby John presents Varun Dhawan in a role unlike anything he has done in the past. Chennai, October 16 - Superstar Rajinikanth's action drama Vettaiyan has entered the 200 crores club at the worldwide box office in just 6 days, becoming the second Tamil movie of 2024 to achieve the feat after Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All Time.## After the good extended first weekend with 189 crores worldwide gross, Vettaiyan, however, has dropped heavily in the first 2 working days. On Monday, the collection dropped by around 75% followed by another around 25% drop on Tuesday for approximately 14 crores worldwide gross in 2 days. ## The total worldwide collection of the film after 6 days stands at approximately 203 crores gross, including 134 crores in India and 69 crores overseas. The domestic collection of 134 crores includes 81 crores in the home state, Tamil Nadu as it is marching towards 100 crores gross in the state. ## It is the 7th movie of Rajinikanth to top 200 crores worldwide gross, after 2.0, Jailer, Enthiran, Kabali, Petta, and Darbar. After the Covid-19 pandemic, Vettaiyan is the second film of the superstar to enter this box office club after Jailer.## Despite the good first weekend, the overall collection of Vettaiyan is underwhelming due to the weak trend during the weekdays. Chennai, October 16 - Tamil star Suriya's Kanguva is gearing up for the big screen debut in less than a month on November 14. In India, the movie has minted approximately 18 crores gross (15+ crores net) and an estimated 25 crores at the international BO. ## With 43 crores worldwide cume in 32 days, it is the second-highest-grossing Punjabi movie of 2024 after Jatt & Juliet 3 (102+ crores gross) and the 10th biggest grosser of all time. New Delhi, October 15 - Filmmaker Sandeep Singh has collaborated with the national broadcaster Doordarshan to announce Fauji 2, the new version of Shah Rukh Khan-led iconic television series.## Directed by Abhinav Pareek, Fauji 2 will star Vicky Jain and Gauahar Khan in the leading roles and will introduce twelve new actors - Aashish Bhardwaj, Utkarsh Kohli, Rudra Soni, Amardeep Phogat, Ayaan Manchanda, Niel Satpuda, Suvansh Dhar, Priyanshu Rajguru, Aman Singh Deep, Udit Kapur, Maansi and Sushmita Bhandari.## The show will feature 11 songs with music composed by music director Shreyas Puranik. Sonu Nigam has lent his voice to the title track of Fauji 2, produced by Sandeep Singh and co-produced by Vicky Jain and Zafar Mehdi with Sameer Hallim as the Creative Head. ## The original show, Fauji was first aired in 1989 and was created by the legendary writer and producer, Lt. Mumbai, October 14 - Over the last couple of months, the trade is buzzing with the potential maiden collaboration between Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj. While Aamir has confirmed to play a cameo in Lokesh's Coolie starring Rajinikanth, the duo has also been in the news for a full-fledged film. ## It was recently reported that Aamir and Lokesh have been in talks for quite some time now and that things were progressing in the right direction. Now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, the project in question is a superhero film and Aamir has asked the director to develop this idea into a full-fledged script. ## The report says that Lokesh is now looking to develop the same with his team of writers, before pitching the first draft to the Dangal star. Chennai, October 14 - In probably first of its kind experiment, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is to be used to dub Tamil star Suriya's voice in all languages in the upcoming much-anticipated Pan India movie Kanguva, directed by Siva. ## Producer Gnanavel Raja has said (via Only Kollywood) that there will be a fresh new style for Kanguva in terms of its worldwide dubbing, as the makers are opting for an AI process, which will make the lead character's vocals very similar to that of Suriya, through the technology.## It is said that different people will dub for Suriya in each language but it will later be altered to the actor's voice to give it an original feel.## Kanguva is the biggest movie for Suriya in terms of budget and scale. Mumbai, October 14 - Dharma Productions' love story drama Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri has reportedly been postponed to the next year. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the movie is a spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018), starring Ishaan Khatter, and Janhvi Kapoor. ## Dhadak 2, which is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018), was announced on November 22, 2024, release. Hyderabad, October 14 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 defied mixed reviews to emerge as a big success at the worldwide box office, surpassing 400 crore gross collection.## Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie has minted approximately 401 crores which includes 324 crores gross at the domestic box office and an estimated 77 crores overseas through the third weekend (17 days). With this, it has become the second Telugu movie and the fourth Indian title of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Devara is the second film of Jr. NTR to top 400 crores worldwide gross after RRR, also starring Ram Charan.
