Mumbai, August 25 - The third instalment of the Welcome has been in the news ever since it was announced due to various reasons. Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle features one of the biggest ensemble casts, led by superstar Akshay Kumar.## Recently, Jio Studios, which was supposed to bankroll the movie, deleted the announcement video of the film from its YouTube channel which led to speculations about its cancellation. As the rumours continue to spread like wildfire, the makers have provided a vital update on the same.## Putting rumours to rest, the makers have dropped an unseen picture from the shoot, featuring the entire star cast. It is said that the film has already finished its marathon schedule in Mumbai and Kashmir in August and will commence the international schedule in October this year.## Welcome 3 has already completed 70% of the total shooting and the remaining 30% will be finished in the next schedule. Mumbai, August 25 - Bollywood star Akshay Kumar's action thriller Sky Force has been postponed from October 2nd release. Based on the true events of one of the deadliest air strikes by the Indian Air Force, the movie is directed by Abhishek Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani. ## Produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Sky Force was supposed to be the studios' next release after the latest box office sensation Stree 2 which has crossed 500 crores gross worldwide. While the reasons for the postponement are not known yet, reports say Sky Force will now be released in January 2025.## Interestingly, the promo of Sky Force was supposed to be attached with Stree 2 in theatres but was postponed, giving the first indication of its delay in the release. The Gandhi Jayanti weekend is now vacant as far as Bollywood is concerned and there are rumours that one big movie might shift to that slot. ## Akshay Kumar plays the role of an Air Force officer in the film which marks the acting debut of Veer Pahariya, the son of renowned businessman Sanjay Pahariya. Mumbai, August 25 - Earlier this year, it was reported that Bollywood star Ajay Devgn would team up with Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti for the first time. The movie will be produced by Ajay under his banner Devgn Films. ## According to the latest report by Mid-Day, the film in question will be a jungle adventure, on the lines of Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones. The concept has largely been unexplored in Indian cinema and it is certainly the first of its kind movie for the Singham star. ## The script of the movie is currently in progress and the report says that the movie will be set in the forests of India, with Devgn on a quest to find an ancient relic. The story will have historical significance and will be steeped in folklore and mythology. ## The yet-untitled movie will be heavy on VFX and is expected to go on floors by December this year. It is said that the movie is being designed with children in mind. The film will feature high-octane set pieces and stunts. Ajay will sport a rugged look, donning a leather jacket and carrying a backpack. ## Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn will next be seen in director Rohit Shetty's highly-anticipated cop action drama Singham Again which is scheduled to be released on Diwali this year. Mumbai, August 24 - Humongous blockbuster Stree 2 hits the ball out of the park once again to score one of the biggest second Saturdays at the Hindi box office. Depending on how late-night shows go, the movie has a shot at scoring the biggest second Saturday ever in Hindi. ## The lack of competition and the universal acceptance of the movie, Stree 2 exploded today with a jump of nearing 100% which is truly out of the world as day-wise trending has been heavily frontloaded so far. According to early estimates, the horror-comedy scored in the range of 31-33 crores net on its 10th day.## The second Saturday (10th day) collection of Stree 2 is on par or slightly over the film's second-day collection of approx. 31.50 crores net. This has taken the total net collection of the film to around 341 crores net in just 10 days which is extraordinary. ## The second Sunday is expected to witness another good jump as there is a holiday on Monday, on account of Krishna Janmashtami, and the second weekend is heading for a massive 85-90 crores net. Mumbai, August 24 - After the massive box office success of action drama Animal, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic love triangle, set against the backdrop of a war Love and War, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.## Love & War was officially announced in January this year and it instantly caught the attention of everyone, thanks to the mega casting. Now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, the shoot of this much-anticipated film will commence the first week of October this year.## It is said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali will begin Love And War by shooting for some sole sequences featuring Ranbir Kapoor and then move on to the friendship portions of RK and Vicky Kaushal who is expected to join the shoot on October 10. The maverick filmmaker has planned and designed the schedule keeping the dates of his star cast in mind.## Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt, who is reportedly playing the role of a jazz singer in the film, will join husband RK and Vicky Kaushal from December/Early January. The star actress is currently shooting for YRF's Spy Universe movie, Alpha which is expected to be wrapped by the end of November/early December.## Vicky and Alia will non-stop shoot for Love and War after joining it as the duo has reportedly allotted 200 days for the same. It is said that they will indulge in romantic sequences, followed by conflict scenes with Ranbir Kapoor who has solo action scenes along with friendship sequences with Vicky and romance and drama scenes with Alia. ## Love and War is expected to be wrapped by the third quarter of 2025, for Christmas release in the year. Mumbai, August 24 - Maddock Films and Jio Studios' horror-comedy Stree 2 has outgrossed Pan India movie Saaho to become the highest-grossing film of actress Shraddha Kapoor at the worldwide box office. It took just 10 days to achieve the milestone.## Saaho, starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the leading roles, grossed approximately 451 crores at the worldwide box office, and now, Stree 2 has beaten this figure as I type this. It grossed approximately 441 crores in the first 9 days and today (10th day), Stree 2 is expected to gross 40+ crores worldwide which will take its total collection to 480+ crores.## Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 had already become the highest-grossing movie of Maddock Films along with director Kaushik and actor Rajkummar Rao. Hyderabad, August 24 - Director Nag Ashwin has reacted to the ongoing controversy involving Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi and Pan India superstar Prabhas over an alleged derogatory comment. ICYDK, in a recent podcast interview, Arshad Warsi labelled Prabhas' characterization as "Joker" in the recent Pan India blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD. ## "Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he... he was like a joker. Why? I want to see a Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. What have you made of it? Why do they do such things? I never understand", Warsi had said while stating that he didn't like the movie. ## The above comment stirred massive controversy as some Telugu actors and fans called out Warsi for his disrespectful remarks about the biggest Indian movie star at present. Mumbai, August 23 - Stree 2 has surpassed 300 crores net at the Indian box office after the sensational hold on its second Friday with collection more or less the same as yesterday. It has become the first film of 2024 to top 300 crores net in Hindi.## Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Stree 2 scored the opening week of over 291 crores net which is the 4th biggest ever in Hindi. Since there is no real competition to the movie at the moment, it is now a one-horse race and begins the second weekend with an estimated collection of around 16.50+ crores net.## The total collection of Stree 2 is around 308 crores net in 9 days, surpassing Kalki 2898 AD's 293+ crores net to become the biggest Hindi grosser of the year. With no competition, the movie can go to 75+ crores net collection in the second weekend. ## Stree 2 will surpass 400 crores net, mostly by the second Tuesday, but at this point, the film's real target is to enter the 500 crores net club which is looking very much achievable since there is no other movie which can dent its chances for, at least, two weeks.## Stay tuned...
