Malayalam superstar, Mohanlal recently unleashed the teaser of his highly anticipated Mollywood drama-thriller, Drishyam 2, and to surprising everyone, the actor announced that the movie will directly release on Amazon Prime Video in the coming days. And now, as expected, the Theatre Owners Association of Kerala has criticized Mohanlal for his decision of skipping the theatrical release of the movie. ## According to FilmiBeat, the spokesperson of the Theatre Owners Association, Liberty Basheer slammed the superstar for his decision to go for an OTT release, while addressing the media. He said that the theater owners were hopeful that the release of Drishyam 2 will bring back the audiences to the theatres. Here is the full match card and everything you need to know about WWE Crown Jewel 2022 that is set to take place on November 5, 2022, live from Mrsool Park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. ## This will be the second Crown Jewel to be held at this venue after the inaugural 2018 event, which was held here when it was still called King Saud University Stadium (renamed to Mrsool Park in 2020). It will be the eighth event that WWE will hold in Saudi Arabia under a 10-year partnership in support of Saudi Vision 2030. ## At the time of writing, the only match confirmed for the event is for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, with Champion Roman Reigns defending the title against challenger Logan Paul. ## Confirmed Match Card## WWE Undisputed Universal Title Match: Roman Reigns(c) Vs. Logan Paul ## For the first time ever, Logan Paul will challenge Roman Reigns to a match at WWE Crown Jewel. ## After Roman Reigns appeared on Logan Paul's podcast Impaulsive, the social media influencer then trash-talked Reigns after Reigns had left the set. The O.C. ## After successfully making their in-ring return on the October 17 edition of WWE Raw, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were celebrating their victory with AJ Styles in the middle of the ring. This prompted The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio) to come out and make an official challenge to The O.C for the upcoming Crown Jewel premium live event. The six man tag match at Crown Jewel will mark the first time that Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio have teamed together in trios action. ## Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross (Steel Cage Match) ## After months of intense physicality, Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross will finish their rivalry in Saudi Arabia at WWE Crown Jewel inside a steel cage. This news was announced on the October 21 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown Drew McIntyre said WWE management warned him about any more physicality outside of the Ring with Karrion Kross. ## In the first Strap Match held at WWE Extreme Rules since the 2013 edition, Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross collided for the first time ever, with only 12 feet of leather between the two. ## During the match Scarlett, once again got involved, stepping in front of McIntyre as The Scottish Warrior was about to connect with the Claymore. All India Exhibitors have requested superstar, Salman Khan to release his most-awaited action movie, Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai on Eid 2021 to give a boost to single screens/independent cinemas which got a massive set back due to the covid-19 pandemic.## The Cinema Associations are hopeful that a Salman Khan movie can revive the halted single screen business hence, they want the superstar to release his Radhe on Eid 2021 in every cinema across the country for not just financial support but to give a ray of hope to cinemas owners and employees in the context of their future. ## In the letter addressed to Salman, they wrote, "As you are aware, 2020 has been a rough year for millions of people across the country & the ones associated with India's film exhibition sector haven't been an exception. Over the last 10 months, hundreds of single screen/ Independent cinemas have pulled down their shutters permanently & this has resulted in the loss of livelihood for lakhs of people who were employed by them directly & indirectly".## "Films are to theatres what fuel is to a car. Without a constant supply of content that is relevant to its audience, running a cinema hall is close to impossible. For over a decade now, your films have played an important role in bringing audiences to single-screen cinemas, which are otherwise starved for content that caters to the sensibilities of people who patronize them", they added.## "Your film Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai is among the few that are capable of resurrecting the fortunes of independent / single-screen cinemas across the country. A film like that, if released widely can give not just financial support & relief, but also a ray of hope to owners & employees of theatres in the context of their future. The silver jubilee of The International Film festival of Kerala (IFFK) will be held from February 10 onwards in four places including Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Palakkad, and Thalassery. The people who will participate in the festival will require Covid negative certificates and the delegate fee is reduced to Rs 750.## The festival will be inaugurated at Thiruvananthapuram on February 10 and will be conducted here from February 10 to 14 before moving to Ernakulam from February 17 to 21, From February 23 to 27 at Thalassery, and from March 1 to 5 at Palakkad.## This was announced by the state minister for culture AK Balan yesterday (Jan 1). He said that the film festival which was generally held in December each year has been postponed to February 10 owing to the Covid pandemic. Nearly 14,000 delegates used to attend the festival each year but owing to Covid-19, this won't be possible and hence, the festival will be conducted at four venues.## Speaking to media persons Balan said, "All the cultural festivals as part of the film festival are cancelled owing to the Covid pandemic. Meet the Director, Press meet, Master class and discussion with foreign guests will be conducted online".## He further said that IFFK will have competition section films, Malayalam cinema today, Indian cinema now, Kaleidoscope, Retrospective, and Homage sections. Four films will be screened in a theatre a day and five theaters will screen movies in each district. ## The Kerala State Chalachithra Academy who is the host of the festival will have antigen testing facilities at the venues in association with the state health ministry. The dreams with which I came, those are yet incomplete. I feel it's necessary to fulfill that first. There is no particular time to enter into politics, there is no fixed period for it. Can join after 5 years or 10 years. I got offers 10 years back, I still get offers. If I am given a responsible position and I am unable to go to villages and towns to help people then what is the point.
