Streaming giant Netflix on Friday announced that the platform will be available free for everyone on December 5 and 6 in India. Anyone in India can watch all the content available on the OTT platform for two days starting from 12 midnight on December 5.## "We think that giving away everyone in a country access to Netflix for free for a weekend could be a great way to expose a bunch of new people to the amazing stories that we have, the service and how it works", Greg Peters, COO and Chief Product Officer at Netflix, said during the company's earnings call.## "At Netflix, we want to bring the most amazing stories from across the world to all fans of entertainment in India. It's why we're hosting StreamFest: an entire weekend of free Netflix", the company said in a statement.## Last month, Netflix announced its plans to give users in India access to free streaming for a weekend. The final standings in the ongoing World Test Championship will now be decided by the percentage of points won by a team, the ICC announced on Thursday (November 19).## As per the new standings, Australia has leapfrogged India and moved to the top spot in the World Test Championship table. Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar has filed a whopping Rs. 500 crore defamation suit against a YouTuber who named him in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The actor served a defamation suit against YouTuber Rashid Siddiqui who hails from Bihar.## Earlier he was arrested by the police for spreading fake news and dragging the name of Maharashtra's CM Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya Thackeray in the case. ## As reported in India.com, Siddiqui alleged in his videos that Akshay Kumar helped accused Rhea Chakraborty escape to Canada and also had secret talks with Uddhav and Aaditya about SSR's death. The YouTuber also said that the actor was unhappy with Sushant bagging MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. ## It has been reported that from the last few months, Siddiqui's YouTube channel grew immensely from 1 lakh to over 3.70 lakh subscribers and he had earned over Rs 15 lakh in four months for his content in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The 25-year-old is a civil engineer and owns a YouTube channel titled FF News. ## Recently, Shiv Sena's legal cell advocate Dharmendra Mishra filed a case against the Siddiqui too, after which the police came into action and found out that he allegedly using the SSR death case to increase his followers and earn more money.## Siddiqui's earnings were hardly around Rs 300 in the month of May and in September, he earned a massive approx.
