Roy Kapur Films acquires the rights of 'The Anarchy: The Relentless Rise of The East India Company'; will adapt into series

Filmmaker Siddharth Roy Kapur's production house Roy Kapur Films has acquired the rights of the Scottish historian and writer, William Dalrymple's bestseller book 'The Anarchy: The Relentless Rise of The East India Company' that will be adapted it into a tv series. ## The book 'The Anarchy: The Relentless Rise of the East India Company' by William Dalrymple was originally published on 10 September 2019 and it recounts the unprecedented rise of the East India Company and how Britain's ruthless looted India in the 18th century when India used to be an industrial powerhouse. ## Talking about the book, Siddharth Roy Kapur said in a statement, "I believe that stories that are compelling, relevant, and authentic have the potential to resonate with audiences across all nationalities and cultures.
