Mumbai, December 18 - Allu Arjun's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has become the highest-grossing Hindi net grosser and the first to clear 600 crores net collection in Hindi within two weeks since its release on December 5, becoming the biggest blockbuster. ## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 has surpassed the lifetime collection of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's horror comedy Stree 2 (598 crores net approx.) on its 14th day to become the number 1 movie of all time in Hindi. Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is at the third palace with 582 crores net collection. ## Pushpa 2 has been on a record-breaking run since the opening day and so far, it has put up a sensational show at the box office. The movie is expected to finish its run with 750+ crores net with a possibility of going a step further to hit 800 crores, a record which will be a mountain to climb for future movies. ## Meanwhile, the mega-blockbuster movie is also nearing 1000 crores net collection in all versions. So far (14 days), Pushpa 2 has minted around 970 crores net while its worldwide collection is nearing 1400 crores gross. Hyderabad, December 18 - The makers of superstar Prabhas-fronted The Raja Saab have shared a statement on social media on the rumours regarding the film's teaser and shooting details. There have been rumours that the teaser would be released during the Christmas or New Year weekend which the makers have denied. ## The film is produced by People Media Factory which wrote on X, "#TheRajaSaab shooting is progressing rapidly with continuous day and night schedules. Nearly 80% of the shoot has been completed, and post-production work is in full swing".## "We’ve noticed various speculations circulating about the teaser release during Christmas or New Year. We kindly request you not believe these false rumours. We will officially announce any updates at the right time", the studio said in the post. ## Meanwhile, there have been reports that The Raja Saab will be postponed from April 10 release after the recent change in the release dates of other movies. While the makers didn't mention such a development, the studio seemingly re-confirmed the April 10 release with a hashtag, #TheRajaSaabOnApril10th on X. ## However, as reported earlier, the Maruthi's directorial romantic horror comedy will be heavy on VFX and there are chances it might get postponed to a new date but things will become clear after the shoot compilation. Mumbai, December 18 - Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is reuniting with director Vishal Bhardwaj for an action thriller film, not titled yet. The movie is to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and the official announcement of the same was made on Wednesday, December 18. ## Announcing the film, the production house unveiled the entire main cast which includes Triptii Dimri as the female lead with Randeep Hooda and Nana Patekar in the prominent roles. The makers also confirmed that the shoot of this untitled film will start on January 6 and it will be released in theaters worldwide on December 5, 2025. ## The upcoming film marks Shahid and Vishal Bhardwaj's third film together after critically acclaimed Haider and Kaminey. Mumbai, December 18 - Rashmika Mandanna is on the signing spree and has locked another Bollywood film with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. The actress already has Chhaava and Thama with the studio and their collaboration extended to one more film. ## Recently, it was reported that Maddock Films to scheduling the sequel to 2012's romantic comedy Cocktail with an entirely new cast. It was revealed that Shahid Kapoor has been signed on to headline Cocktail 2, taking over from Saif Ali Khan, who played the lead in the first film alongside Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. ## Now, according to the latest report, Rashmika Mandanna has been locked to play one of the female leads opposite Shahid in this love triangle sequel. This marks Shahid and Rashmika's first film together after the duo came close to sharing the screen in Anees Bazmee's, now-shelved, comedy entertainer. ## The second female lead of Cocktail is said to be Kriti Sanon who is a frequent collaborator with Maddock Films. The actress will be reuniting with Shahid after this year's hit romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which was also bankrolled by Maddock. ## Cocktail is written by Luv Ranjan and he will be involved through the entire creative process as a partner on the film. Hyderabad, December 18 - Pan India superstar Prabhas will next be seen in the romantic horror comedy The Raja Saab. The movie, directed by Maruthi, was announced for a multi-lingual release on April 10, 2025, however, there is a change in the plans. ## According to the latest Telugu media reports, The Raja Saab is set to be postponed and the announcement for the same will be made soon. The reports emerged after DJ Tillu fame Siddhu Jonnalagadda's action thriller Jack announced an April 10 release, and it is said that the date was discussed with the makers of Prabhas-starrer. ## The Raja Saab is produced by People Media Factory on a massive budget and it will feature a lot of CGI shots which is also one of the reasons for the film's postponement. Mumbai, December 17 - Director Atlee's next film with superstar Salman Khan has been the talk of the town ever since the news about the movie was revealed sometime back. It is the director's first film since the mega-blockbuster success of superstar Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Jawan last year.## Tentatively called A6, the upcoming movie marks the maiden collaboration of Atlee with Salman and the director has planned bigger things for the same. During a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, while promoting Varun Dhawan-fronted Baby John, the filmmaker was asked to share some updates on A6. ## Atlee revealed that the script work of A6 is almost complete and the pre-production work is ongoing. The official announcement of the film will be made soon. ## Addressing the report around the casting of the film, the Bigil director promised that he would surprise everyone with the casting. Reports are that A6 would feature either superstar Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan with Salman Khan in the parallel lead and the director also hinted about the same. ## Speaking further about this mega project, Atlee said "It's going to be the proudest film of our country. Hyderabad, December 17 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire was one of the biggest Indian grossers of 2023 and now, it has turned out to be a huge success on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar as well in the dubbed Hindi version. ## The Hindi version of Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, was acquired by Hotstar while the other versions streamed on Netflix. Since its digital release on February 16 this year, the Hindi version of the film has continuously been trending in the top 10 in India. ## It has been continuous more than 300 days for the movie in the top 10 on Hotstar, making it the first film ever to do so. While the viewership numbers are not provided, Salaar is easily the most-watched Indian title on Hotstar and this is building up the excitement for its sequel which is due to hit big screens in 2026. ## Salaar is produced by Hombale Films which will bankroll three more films, including Salaar 2, of Prabhas in the next few years. The success of Salaar's Hindi version, both at the box office and on streaming, gives the studio a chance to plan bigger things for the sequel just like KGF: Chapter 2, and the makers have promised the same. ## The film stars Prabhas in the titular role alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, and Sriya Reddy in key roles. Hyderabad, December 17 - Actress Mrunal Thakur is on a roll with back-to-back films across languages and the latest she has joined is Telugu action thriller Decoit as the female opposite Adivi Sesh in the lead role. Debutante Shaneil Deo directs the movie. ## Mrunal has replaced Shruti Haasan, who was originally cast as the female lead but later backed out for unknown reasons. Decoit is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang under the banner of Annapurna Studios, is being shot simultaneously in the Hindi and Telugu languages. ## The movie follows an angry convict plotting revenge against his former girlfriend, who betrayed him. Mumbai, December 16 - The next big Bollywood release is Varun Dhawan-fronted action thriller Baby John which is scheduled to hit the big screens on December 25, on the occasion of Christmas. Directed by Kalees, the film carries a decent buzz and should take a good start at the box office. ## Meanwhile, ahead of the film's release, the makers have completed censorship formatlies. It is learned that Baby John has been certified with 'U/A' for 16+ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved theatrical runtime of 2 hours and 44 minutes (164 minutes). ## The movie is certified for people above 16 years of age due to some violent scenes. It is the second age-restricted movie of Varun Dhawan after Badlapur which was rated A by CBFC. Mumbai, December 16 - Superstar Salman Khan's much-awaited action drama Sikandar is set to unleash at the box office on Eid 2025. Mumbai, December 15 - Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule surpasses 500 crores net collection in Hindi after scoring a historic 125+ crores net second weekend at the Hindi box office. It is the first movie ever to score 100+ crores net in the second weekend in Hindi. ## Pushpa 2 on its second Sunday is looking to score in the range of 54-56 crores net, according to estimates. This pushes the total Hindi collection to over 550 crores in 11 days, becoming the third-biggest Hindi grosser of all time, behind Jawan and Stree 2. ## The film will surpass Stree 2 during or before the third weekend to become the biggest Hindi grosser ever. At this point, the film seems to be heading for 750+ crores net in Hindi and it can go higher depending on new releases and repeat audience. ## In Telugu states, Pushpa 2 has a good second Sunday for an estimated 15-16 crores gross while in Karnataka, it is expected to gross around 5.50 crores and in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the collection is in the range of 4.75-5 crores gross.
