Mumbai, November 8 - Ajay Devgn's cop action drama Singham Again begins second weekend with a decent hold after the good first week collection of 173 crores net. ## The movie is witnessing a drop of around 10%-15% on its second Friday from Thursday for an estimated 7.50-8crores net collection, pushing total to over 180 crores net in 8 days. The second weekend is probably heading for 30 crores net. ## The drop in the second weekend is likely to be around 75% which is harsh but is expected given the mixed word of mouth and clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is now turning into the first choice of the moviegoers. SA, however, will still do enough to cross 200 crores net by Sunday. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan kicks off the second weekend with a strong hold, dropping under 10% for an estimated 8.50-9 crores net collection on its 8th day/second Friday. This takes the total collection to around 167 crores net. ## The second weekend of BB3 is expected to be in the range of 32-33 crores net which is a drop fo around 65%. The movie will be close to 200 crores net by the second Sunday, and will breach this milestone by the second Tuesday and Wednesday. ## The overall combined second weekend of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is heading for 60+ crores net which is decent. ## Stay tuned...

Hyderabad, November 7 - Pan India superstar Prabhas has signed a ground-breaking three-film deal with the leading Kannada production house Hombale Films. This deal does not include Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire which was released last year and emerged as a box-office success. ## The 3-film deal will kick off with Salaar 2 which will be released in 2026. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the production of the film has already commenced and the remaining portions will be shot next year. The details about the other two films are not revealed yet except that they will be released in 2027 and 2028. ## However, there are rumours in the Telugu media that Prabhas will up with director Prasanth Varma and Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a film each which will be produced by Hombale Films. Mumbai, November 8 - The 2 Bollywood Diwali tentpoles, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have had a very good first week at the box office as both the films combined delivered 500 crores gross collection worldwide, making it one of the biggest for Bollywood films. ## Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham 3 scored the second biggest first week for a Bollywood movie of 2024. At the domestic box office, the movie minted approximately 207 crores gross (173 crores net) while the overseas collection is an estimated 53 crores for a worldwide cume of 260 crores approx. ## On a larger note, Singham Again proved to be the biggest first-week grosser for Ajay Devgn as well as for director Rohit Shetty. The movie received mixed talks and clashed with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and despite that, it faired well. It will be topping 300 crores worldwide in the second weekend. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, on the other hand, is easily the winner of the clash after the first week. After the fantastic weekend, the horror-comedy showed a better trend during the weekdays and ended the first week's collection with approximately 190 crores gross (158 crores net) in India and an estimated 50 crores overseas for the worldwide cume of 240 crores gross.## The combined total of both movies is approximately 500 crores worldwide, including a little under 400 crores gross (397 crores gross) domestically. Mumbai, November 8 - It was recently reported how the OTT platforms have been controlling the theatrical releases of Bollywood films by signing pre-contracts for the streaming release, and this practice has been admitted by producer Bhushan Kumar whose Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 made to clash with director Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. ## The box office clash between BB3 and Singham Again didn't make sense as both films were hugely anticipated and were seen as potential blockbusters. While both movies are doing well at the box office, one must admit that their overall potential was cut short by the unwanted clash due to their streaming partners. ## Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama that both parties attempted to avoid the clash as both franchises are highly valuable and hold significant audiences. However, despite the intention to not release the movies on the same day, Kumar admitted that contractual constraints with OTT platforms and creative factors made it unavoidable. ## "Nowadays, there are some constraints, like pre-commitments with OTT platforms. If you try to change those dates, the OTT platform doesn't allow it. That was our constraint, and they probably had similar ones", the filmmaker said. BB3 post-theatrical rights are with Netflix while Amazon Prime Video has Singham 3. ## Kumar, however, expressed satisfaction over the fact that both movies are performing well against the odds. "So it's okay as long as our film is getting so much love. And it has done enough business that the film is now safe", he added. ## Released during the lucrative Diwali weekend, Singham Again has scored a very good opening week of over 200 crores gross in India and over 250 crores worldwide. Mumbai, November 7 - In an exciting development, actor Sidharth Malhotra has been confirmed to headline a jungle-based folk thriller film, titled VVAN- Force of The Forrest. This will be produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever (TVF). ## The movie was announced on the occasion of the Chhath festival with an interesting motion poster that begins with a warning - Entry into the forest is prohibited after sunset, as a man running away from a temple in the jungle with a flambeau. ## Panchayat fame Deepak Kumar Mishra will direct VVAN and be released on Chhath Puja 2025 in theatres worldwide. Mumbai, November 7 - Ajay Devgn's Singham Again has a very good first week at the box office with approximately 173 crores net collection. After the fantastic weekend, the cop action drama held well during the weekdays despite the mixed reception and clash. ## The Rohit Shetty's directorial, on its first Thursday/7th day, scored an estimated 8.50-9 crores net collection, pushing the total first-week collection to 173 crores net. This is the first week total for Ajay Devgn, beating Golmaal Again which minted approximately 136 crores net. ## Since there is no new release this week, Singham Again can have a second weekend of around 30-35 crores which is about a 70% drop from the first weekend. It is likely to cross the 200 crores net mark by the second Sunday and then, it will be interesting to see how the movie fares thereafter.## Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is having a much better trend at the box office and has another solid day. On its first Thursday, the film is looking to score in the range of 9-9.50 crores net, as per estimates. This takes the total first-week collection to around 158 crores net which is fantastic. ## It is by far the biggest first week for a Kartik Aaryan-starrer, beating his previous best of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which scored 92 crores net. Chennai, November 7 - Legendary Kamal Haasan's action drama film Thug Life with maverick director Mani Ratnam will have a grand worldwide release on June 5, 2025, the makers officially announced on Thursday with a teaser. ## Recently, it was reported that the film might be released during the Tamil New Year weekend on April 10 and clash with Prabhas-fronted The Raja Saab. However, the official update has put rumours to rest and confirmed that Thug Life will hit the big screen a month later. ## Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies, Thug Life reunites Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam after 36 years. Mumbai, November 6 - The festive vibes still benefitting both Diwali Bollywood releases, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which continue to do well at the box office during the weekdays. Both the movies remain around or over the double-digit mark on Wednesday which is fantastic. ## The mixed word of mouth hasn't made much impact on Singham Again which is heading for 170+ crores first week of collection. On its first Wednesday (6th day), the Ajay Devgn starrer is flirting with the double-digit mark as early estimates suggest the collection in the range of 10-10.50 crores net. ## The first Wednesday collection of the film pushes the total to around 164 in 6 days as the full week is expected to be 172-173 crores net which is fantastic. The movie will be breaking into the 200 crores net club by the second Sunday. ## Meanwhile, the Kartik Aaryan-fronted horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has another rock-solid day and the collection is likely to come above Singham Again for the first time in its run. It was bound to happen at some point due to positive reception among the audience. ## According to early estimates, BB3 is expected to score 10.50-11 crores net collection on its first Wednesday (6th day), pushing the total collection to 148.50 crores net. Los Angeles, November 6 - Tom Hardy's Marvel movie Venom: The Last Dance is trying to rebound after a lower-than-expected opening at the domestic box office. The superhero movie surprisingly had a good hold in the second weekend and is keeping this momentum going during the weekdays. ## Meanwhile, the movie had a good second Tuesday domestically which saw the collection witnessing a surge of over 55% from Monday for $3.36 million. It was the presidential election day in the US and instead of focusing on the outcome of the important event, the Americans chose to watch Venom 3 on the big screen. ## According to the local reports, to divert their attention from the election outcome, many Americans went to watch the film and that has helped Venom 3 to score the collection it got on Tuesday which pushed its total domestic collection to $95.3 million in 12 days. ## At the worldwide box office, Venom 3 has crossed $325 million, including $230+ million internationally. Mumbai, November 6 - Director Priyadarshan's Bhagam Bhag starring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal stands as one of the finest comedy films in Bollywood. The film was a box office hit and earned a cult status with immense popularity over the years. ## Over the last couple of years, the chatters regarding the sequels to iconic comedy films have been gaining momentum and Bhagam Bhag is one of them. While the sequels to some of the classics are already in development, Akshay Kumar has reportedly acquired rights to the Bhagam Bhag sequel as with the original cast. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar has acquired the rights for this comic caper from Shemaroo as he intends to make its second part soon. It is said that the actor-producer has already put Bhagam Bhag 2 in the scripting stage with a fresh set of writers. ## The report further added that Akshay Kumar is looking to reunite with the OG duo of Govinda and Paresh Rawal for the sequel. The Kartik Aaryan-fronted latest instalment Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has breached the milestone of 200 crores gross worldwide, becoming the 5th Bollywood movie of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Directed by Anees Bazmee, BB3 scored approximately 20 crores gross on Tuesday which took its total collection to around 208 crores worldwide in just 5 days. The collection includes 165 crores from the domestic and 43 crores from overseas box office. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the second film of Kartik Aaryan to enter the 200 crores club after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which minted approximately 265 crores gross. It is also director Bazmee's second movie to achieve the milestone after BB2. ## Actress Triptii Dimri debuted in the 200 crores club with the latest hit while Vidya Balan has her second movie after Mission Mangal and so is for Madhuri Dixit after Total Dhamaal in this prestigious box office club.
