Los Angeles, November 2 - It has been a long due and it's finally happening. The world of Game of Thrones is bracing up for his big-screen debut as Warner Bros. Pictures has reportedly been developing at least one film set in this epic fantasy universe, according to The Hollywood Reporter.## The iconic television series has been widely popular among the worldwide audience and is one of the most-watched series of all time. In the past, there have been demands for films on GOT, and interestingly, the creators of the show famously wanted to conclude the series with three feature films instead of its 2019 final season. ## GOT is based on A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin who was keen on the idea of a movie but HBO strongly resisted the idea and instead wanted to preserve the prestige series as an HBO property, per THR.## Now, with a lot of changes happening at Warner Bros., the studio is exploring the idea of making a movie on one of the chapters of Game of Thrones. Mumbai, November 2 - The festival of love and lights, Diwali 2024 illuminated the Indian box office with all the major films across different languages performing exceptionally well. For Bollywood, it is Singham Again and Bhool Bhualaiyaa 3 which stormed the BO to create a new record. ## The Ajay Devgn-starrer cop action drama scored a huge 43.50 crores net collection on its first day which is the biggest opening for the actor and director Rohit Shetty. On the other hand, the horror-comedy starring Kartik Aaryan too wasn't far behind as it minted a massive 35.50 crores net opening day, again the biggest for the actor and director Anees Bazmee. ## The combined total of 79 crores of Singham 3 and BB3 along with another 1 crore net from other movies makes November 1, 2024, the biggest day ever at the Hindi box office. Previously, the biggest single-day collection in Hindi was on September 10, 2023, with approximately 77 crores net when Jawan was released.## Top 3 biggest single-day net collections in Hindi - ## 1. 1 November 2024 - 80 Cr Approx. Tokyo, November 1 - A piece of good news for the Kaiju fans as the new Godzilla movie has officially been greenlit. It will be directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who helmed last year's Oscar-winning blockbuster Godzilla Minus One. ## Legendary Japanese studio Toho, creator of Godzilla and studio home of Akira Kurosawa, revealed that the filmmaker who famously wrote, directed and oversaw all of the VFX in Godzilla Minus One, is set to reprise all of those responsibilities on the new film.## In a video message, Yamazaki can be heard saying "Hello everyone, I have wonderful news. I'll be directing the new Godzilla movie. Mumbai, November 1 - The festival of lights, Diwali brings joy to the career of actor Kartik Aaryan who has his biggest Friday at the box office in the form of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which has taken a sensational start domestically. ## Released against the mighty Singham Again, the horror-comedy had a fantastic start in the morning and was even better in some parts of the country than the Ajay Devgn-starrer. BB3 kept the momentum going throughout the day though Singham Again took the lead in the second half of the day. ## BB3 got fewer screens than Singham Again but it managed to score higher pre-sales and was all about giving tough fights and coming close to the action entertainer as far as the opening is concerned and it managed to do that to some extent as early estimates suggest the first-day collection in the range of 35 crores net which is a sensational start. ## The horror-comedy performed best in West Bengal as well as Delhi, UP, and East Punjab. As said, this is by far the biggest opening for Kartik Aaryan and his first 30+ crores net opener at the domestic box office. Mumbai, November 1 - One of the most-anticipated movies of the year, director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again lives up to the expectations and scores an excellent opening at the domestic box office by surpassing all expectations. ## Starring Ajay Devgn in the title role, Singham 3 was released in a major clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and despite that, it has emerged as the biggest opener for the actor by a long margin. According to the early estimates, the movie is expected to score 43-44 crores net on its first day. ## The movie had fantastic pre-sales and due to the Diwali holiday factor and the genre, it managed to score solid spot bookings to push the opening past 40 crores net. As said, it is the biggest opener for Ajay, surpassing Singham Returns (2014) which minted 32.10 crores net collection. ## Singham Again has performed best in its core markets, such as Maharashtra, and Gujarat along with Rajasthan where previous Singham movies did amazingly well. ## The initial word of mouth seems to be mixed which is expected for these kinds of films. Singham Again will be looking to capitalize on the massive start to score a big opening weekend which can be in the range of 120-130 crores net. Kochi, November 1 - Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran reunited for the sequel to their mega-blockbuster film Lucifer. The second instalment of this political action thriller was titled Lucifer 2: Empuraan (L2E) and is one of the biggest Malayalam movies in the making. ## Over the last few months, there have been speculations about the film's release date and now on November 1, the makers officially confirmed that Prithviraj Sukumaran's directorial would hit the big screens on March 27, 2025, in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil languages. ## The film is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions and stars Mohanlal as Khureshi-Ab'raam / Stephen Nedumpally, reprising his role from the original. It also features an ensemble cast of Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saniya Iyappan, Arjun Das, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Fazil, and Sachin Khedekar.## The original Lucifer was released in 2019 and emerged as one of the biggest Malayalam blockbusters of all time. With approximately 127.50 crores worldwide gross collection, it is the 7th highest-grossing Malayalam movie ever. Chennai, October 31 - Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan's biographical war action drama film Amaran has taken an excellent start at the domestic box office, surpassing all the expectations to deliver the career-best opening for the actor by more than a double margin. ## Amaran was already creating sensation in the advance sales which is one of the highest of the year for a Tamil title. The fantastic pre-sales ensured the big opening but the positive audience reports led to rock-solid spot booking which provided a major boost to the overall collections. ## According to the early estimates, the movie is expected to gross 16-17 crores in Tamil Nadu which is the highest opening for the actor and third biggest of 2024. Amaran is also off to a good start in Telugu states and is estimated to gross in the range of 4.50 crores on its first day. ## In Karnataka, the movie is estimated to score in the range of 2 crore gross while in Kerala and the rest of India market, the gross collection is expected to be in the range of 1.75 crores. Overall, Amaran is estimated to gross 24-25 crores opening in India which is excellent and one of the biggest for a non-superstar. ## One more movie which hit the big screens today is Dulquer Salmaan's Telugu movie Lucky Baskhar. The pre-sales for the movie were decent but the excellent response in the previews, followed by extremely positive word of mouth led to fantastic spot booking. ## According to early estimates, Lucky Bhaskar is expected to gross in the range of 3.75-4 crores in Telugu states while in Kerala, the movie is likely to bring in 1.75-2 crores gross. Mumbai, October 31 - After joining hands to score a big blockbuster in the form of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, actor Kartik Aaryan and director Aneez Bazmee reunited with producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series for the third instalment of this horror-comedy franchise which is soaring to new heights. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been one of the most-anticipated Bollywood movies ever since it was announced, due to the franchise value, plus, the horror-comedy genre has been in demand in recent times. The success of Stree 2 and Munjya along with BB2 made the upcoming movie to watch out for and to date, things are looking extremely favourable. ## BB3 was censored with the U/A certificate with an approved runtime of 2 hours and 38 minutes and as per reports, it will be released on around 3000 screens nationwide which is a big release considering a clash with mighty Singham Again. ## Despite getting fewer screens, the pre-sales of BB3 are surprisingly more than Singham Again though the difference is negligible and the fact that Singham 3 bookings opened late. Considering all the aspects, BB3 is expected to open in the range of 30 crores net. ## Word of mouth will be a deciding factor between the clash of Singham Again and BB3 and the latter will hope for favourable reports from the first show as the Ajay Devgn-starrer is likely to have the upper hand in the initials. Mumbai, October 31 - Actor Varun Dhawan's action drama Baby John is turning out to be one of the most-anticipated Bollywood movies of the year. The makers haven't released much regarding the film but they have made sure whatever content they have unleashed generates hype for the film. ## The film is directed by Tamil director Kalees and is scheduled to hit the big screens on December 25 on the occasion of Christmas this year. Mumbai, October 31 - The Avengers of director Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe Singham Again is all set to storm the box office and to make the experience bigger, the makers have confirmed the IMAX release of the film in India.## Singha Again is releasing on the same day as Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on November 1 and despite the major clash, the former has managed to grab 60% showcasing across the country in the multiplex as well as single-screen properties.## Apart from the huge domestic release, the Ajay Devgn-fronted cop action drama will be released on over 1900 screens internationally, including the biggest release of all time on 197 screens in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji, according to the report by Pinkvilla. ## Singham Again will debut in North America with a massive 760+ screens despite opposition from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and the Tamil movie Amaran. UK and Ireland on the other hand will be hosting Singham Again in over 224 cinemas.
