Mumbai, October 23 - It was reported recently that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has been discussing a sequel to the 2008 cult blockbuster, Ghajini which itself was the remake of the 2005 Tamil movie of the same name starring Suriya, with producers Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena. ## Aamir is keenly interested in making Ghajini 2 and has asked the makers to develop the story before giving his final nod. It was also reported that the makers are also trying to make the film in Tamil with Suriya and now, the actor has himself confirmed the same. ## "Ghajini 2 was actually, surprising that you asked me now. After a long time, Allu Aravind came up with that idea (for the sequel) and asked if that would be possible. I said definitely sir, we can think of it. Yes, the talk has started, the things are in process. Ghajini 2 might happen", Suriya said in an interview with Pinkvilla. ## Now, as per Pinkvilla, the makers have pitched the plan to shoot Ghajini 2 simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil with Aamir Khan and Suriya, respectively. It is said that "Both Suriya and Aamir Khan are excited by the idea of Ghajini 2, but don't want the remake tag on their film".## On hearing both the actors' concerns, Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena reportedly came up with a solution of shooting for the two Ghajini films at the same time frame and bringing them to the big screen on the same day. Mumbai, October 23 - Akshay Kumar's comedy-drama Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz, scored an underwhelming viewership in the first two weeks on Netflix despite the positive critics' reviews.## The movie generated 7.4 million views in the first 10 days, which included 4 million views in the opening weekend and 3.4 million views in the full second week. It has failed to beat Akshay and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which minted 8 million views in 10 days. ## Interestingly, the viewership of Khel Khel Mein dipped in the second week, unlike BMCM where viewership grew after the first weekend. The critics' response has also been opposite to both movies as BMCM was blasted by critics. ## Khel Khel Mein was originally released in theatres on August 15 this year, however, it performed underwhelming at the box office, grossing approximately 57 crores worldwide. BMCM was also a theatrical release first but got bombed at the box office with around 110 crores worldwide collection. ## Among the films released on Netflix this year after their theatrical releases, Khel Khel Mein's viewership is the 9th highest after the first 2 weeks. Mumbai, October 23 - Superstar Salman Khan has reportedly resumed filming of the much-anticipated action drama Sikandar amid the postponement rumours. The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. ## There have been media reports about the superstar postponing the shooting schedule of Sikandar due to the murder of politician Baba Siddique and the death threats to Salman from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, but the latest development suggests that things are going as par plans for the movie. ## According to the Hindustan Times, Salman has resumed the shoot as per the planned schedule, keeping to the commitments he is known for. The Sikandar team is determined to deliver a timely quality film and Salman is perfectly in sync with those plans. The current schedule is in Mumbai, after which the actor will move to Hyderabad for the next schedule. ## Sikandar marks Salman Khan's maiden collaboration with director A.R. Murugadoss. Bengaluru, October 23 - Kannada superstar Yash has officially confirmed that the plans are on for KGF: Chapter 3. The actor is presently working on the gangster action drama Toxic with director Geetu Mohandas and director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana. ## During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor responded to a question asked by THR India Editor Anupama Chopra who quoted a "great admirer" of Yash, Indian cricketer Shubman Gill, who wants to know when KGF 3 is going to happen?".## The actor said KGF 3 will surely happen once he finishes Toxic and Ramayana. "We (he and director Prashanth Neel) keep talking about it. We have an idea, but we'll do it once it is the right time. It is also something which needs all our attention. We don't want to encash on anything. Because the audience has given us enough".## Yash is aware that KGF and his role as Rocky Bhai have become a cult that people celebrate and they are going to make it in a way that the audience will be proud of.## KGF: Chapter 2, released in April 2022, is the first and only Kannada movie of all time to gross over 1000 crores at the worldwide box office. Mumbai, October 22 - After the mega success of KGF: Chapter 2, superstar Yash returned to set with the upcoming gangster action drama Toxic which is being directed by national award-winning director Geethu Mohandas. The film is currently on floors and will be released next year. ## Toxic was announced last year with the release date which was April 10, 2025. However, it was recently reported that the movie had been postponed due to date issues of involved actors. The movie has Nayanathara, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi, among others in prominent roles. ## Now, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, the superstar officially confirmed that Toxic won't be released on April 10. He said that it was premature to announce the release date even before the shoot started and not considering the schedules of other actors. ## When asked about the new release date, Yash said that he doesn't want to announce it right now and would make things official in due time. The actor also confirmed that Oscar and National award-winning company, DNEG is going the VFX work of Toxic. ## Apart from Toxic, Yash is also working on the epic Ramayana which he called a dream passion project. The actor said that he was in Los Angeles where he discussed the possible collaboration with Namit Malhotra, who has been working on Ramayana for many years, and that's where they decided to work on this and Yash came on board to play Ravan/Lankesh. ## Yash confirmed that he is co-producing Ramayana with Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus as the two have the same vision to take Indian cinema globally with this epic. The actor said that he is playing the role of Ravan, which many believe is the masterstroke, with Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. ## While Ranbir Kapoor was the first choice for the role of Ram, Yash said that it was a collective decision of the makers to bring Sai Pallavi on board for the character of Sita. Los Angeles, October 22 - At the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) earlier this year, Marvel Studios president Kavin Feige stunned the entertainment world by announcing that Robert Downey Jr. would return to MCU to play the antagonist as Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers movies - Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. ## Feige also announced that the Russo Brothers would make their Marvel comeback to direct both - Doomsday and Secret Wars which were scheduled to be released on 1 May 2026, and 7 May 2027, respectively. Now, Russo Brothers have provided a filming update for Avengers: Doomsday. ## During an interview at New York Comic Con with Collider, the director duo confirmed that Doomsday will officially begin filming in the spring of 2025. Mumbai, October 22 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly appear in Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR-fronted War 2 which is easily one of the most-anticipated Pan India movies. The movie is directed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. ## War 2 is part of Yash Raj Films' famous Spy Universe which means the character from other movies will have a crossover at some point in the upcoming movies. According to Dainik Bhaskar, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan cameo will feature in the post-credit scene of War 2. ## War 2 is the 6th movie in the Spy Universe and is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 14, 2025, followed by Alia Bhatt and Sharwari Wagh's Alpha on Christmas 2025. Mumbai, October 21 - With less than 2 weeks left for the much-anticipated box office clash of the year between Ajay Devgn-fronted Singham Again and Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the makers are set to submit the films for the censor clearance and are expected to get this done in a day or two. ## Meanwhile, as the makers gear up to get the censor formalities done, the theatrical runtime of both films has been released and it is pretty similar for both of them. According to the reports, Singham Again makers submitted the film to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) a few days ago with a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes). ## The final length of the Singham 3 depends on the cuts or additions asked by the CBFC but the reports say it will be more or less the same as mentioned above. Such runtimes are considered perfect for mass entertainers and can give a significant advantage in case of a clash with other movies in securing more shows, however, it is not going to be a major difference this time. ## According to Pinkvilla, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is in the final leg of post-production and the makers are set to submit it to the censor in a day or two. It is said that the rough cut of BB3 is 2 hours and 39 minutes long (159 minutes), including the start and end credits, similar to the first Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), starring Akshay Kumar which was also 159 minutes long. ## Excluding the credit portion, the final runtime of BB3 is expected to be close to Singham Again, which means, no advantage for either of the movie as far as shows are concerned. It will be the battle of securing the maximum number of screens for both movies which are hugely-anticipated and expected to set the box office on fire. ## Both, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are scheduled to hit the big screens on November 1, on the occasion of Diwali. ## Stay tuned...

Hyderabad, October 21 - Superstar Allu Arjun's hugely anticipated action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has entered the 1000 crores club even before its release. Directed by Sukumar, the movie has been in massive demand in the trade which is leading to record-breaking pre-release business. ## It was recently reported how the pre-release theatrical business had been booming for Pushpa 2 across different regions of the country and worldwide. According to the latest trade reports, the theatrical rights of the movie have been valued at around 600 crores. ## In Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) and North India, the theatrical rights have been sold at 375-400 crores which is massive. The rest of India's business is believed to be around 100 crores while overseas rights business is approximately 125 crores, for total worldwide pre-release theatrical business is 600+ crores. ## Apart from the theatrical, the Pushpa 2 makers have managed to fetch record-breaking digital and satellite deals. As reported previously, the streaming rights of the movie sold to Netflix for a record 275 crores while music rights were sold for 65 crores and television rights sold for 85 crores.## The total pre-release theatrical and non-theatrical business of Pushpa 2 - The Rule is 1025+ crores which is the all-time highest for an Indian movie. Mumbai, October 21 - Ajay Devgn-fronted cop action drama Singham Again is easily one of the most-anticipated Indian movies of the year and excitement doubled when it was revealed recently that superstar Salman Khan will have a cameo as Chulbul Pandey in this Rohit Shetty's directorial. ## However, the latest report suggests that the fans will have to wait a little longer to see Bhaijaan in Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Salman's cameo in Singham 3 has been dropped due to personal reasons.## It is said that Salman Khan was all set to shoot for his Singham Again cameo on Monday, October 14, at Golden Tobacco in Mumbai but it was cancelled owing to the demise of a politician friend of the actor, Baba Siddiqui. Rohit and Ajay then reportedly had discussions internally and felt that it would be insensitive to request Salman Khan to shoot amid all the controversy. ## Bollywood Hungama reports that there is a possibility of a backshot of Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey in the post-credit scene, however, there is no clarity on the same yet. Initially, it was revealed that Salman would appear in the post-credit scene only before having a full-fledged movie in the Cop Universe in the future. ## Singham Again is directed by Rohit Shetty and it is the third movie of the blockbuster franchise and 5th in Shetty's Cop Universe.
