Mumbai, October 21 - Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is on a roll with multiple films on floors. The filmmaker has Salman Khan's Sikandar and Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5 currently under production and is now set to start one more big film soon. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, the long-awaited fourth instalment of the Tiger Shroff-fronted action thriller franchise, Baaghi is gearing up to commence filming in November this year and a photo shoot for Baaghi 4 will happen this month. ## Tiger Shroff will return to reprise his role as Ronnie and the casting for other actors is underway. It is said that the hunt is on to cast a big hero as the negative lead. ## Baaghi has been one of the most successful Bollywood film franchises. It kicked off with 2016's Baaghi, directed by Sabbir Khan. The movie became a big hit, grossing over 125 crores worldwide. 2 years later, Baaghi 2 was released and emerged as a blockbuster with over 250 crores gross worldwide.## The last movie of the franchise, Baaghi 3 released at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic which badly affect its box office prospects. Los Angeles, October 21 - Marvel Studios' Deadpool and Wolverine continues to climb higher and higher at the box office and with its blockbuster run coming to an end, the movie made a final push to beat last year's mega-blockbuster Barbie domestically (North America).## Deadpool & Wolverine grossed a solid $680K in its 13th weekend to push its total cume to $636.3 million at the domestic box office, officially beating Barbie's full run of $636.2 million. With this, it has become the 12th highest-grossing movie ever in North America.## As said, the movie is in its last leg of the theatrical run and will finish as the 12th biggest grosser in the home market. It needs another $16 million to beat Inside Out 2 ($653 million) to become the 11th biggest grosser which is unlikely in its original run. ## Deadpool 3 has grossed $699.4 million at the overseas box office for a worldwide cume of $1.335 billion. Mumbai, October 20 - The historical blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol has completed 29 years since its release. The musical romantic drama marked Aditya Chopra's directorial debut. ## DDLJ emerged as a cult classic and is considered one of the greatest Indian films of all time. Los Angeles, October 19 - Disney's upcoming animated musical adventure film Moana 2 is gearing up to hit the big screens in November last week of 2024 and it is expected to make a big splash at the box office. ## According to Deadline, the sequel is tracking to earn $105 million - $115 million over its 5-day Wednesday to Sunday opening weekend, and $75 million - $82 million of that during its Friday-Sunday weekend at the domestic box office. The website reported tracking service Quorum's projection. ## The first Moana opened to $82 million over 5 days, including $56.6 million during Friday-Sunday, in 2016 and went to gross $248+ million at the North American box office. ## If the projections for the movie hold true, this will mark the biggest opening for a movie released just before Thanksgiving weekend, beating Disney's Frozen which grossed $93.5 million upon its Wednesday release in 2013.## Deadline reports that the above-mentioned projections for Moana 2 line up with the success of the marketing materials Disney has unveiled so far, including the first trailer which is Disney's most-watched ever for an animated movie with 178 million views in the first 24 hours.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, October 19 - Sunny Deol's action drama film with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni has officially been titled Jaat. The movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with People Media Factory. ## The makers announced the film's title on Saturday with the ferocious first-look poster on the occasion of Sunny's birthday today (October 19). The poster shows the Gadar star in action mode with blood all over his body while holding a massive fan. ## This first-look poster and the title give the impression of a mass entertainer, something Sunny has done many times in his career. Hyderabad, October 19 - The countdown has begun for the most-anticipated Indian movie of the year Pushpa 2 - The Rule starring superstar Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. Directed by Sukumar, the movie is scheduled to hit the big screens on December 5/6. ## It was recently reported how the pre-release theatrical business of Pushpa 2 has been booming across the globe. Mumbai, October 19 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar teamed up with producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films for the first time for an aerial action thriller Sky Force. The movie was supposed to be released in October during Gandhi Jayanti weekend but was pushed back. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Maddock Films and the team have now locked the Republic Day weekend 2025 release for Sky Force. It is directed by Sandeep Kewlani, and Abhishek Anil Kapur and also stars Sara Ali Khan, Veer Pahariya, and Nimrat Kaur in prominent roles. ## Sky Force is set against the backdrop of India's first-ever air strike on Pakistan. It is said to be a perfect fit for a Republic Day weekend release due to its patriotic flavour and is high on action, drama, emotions, and thrills to keep the audience excited. ## The VFX of Sky Force is done by the National and Oscar Award-winning company - DNEG. It has breathtaking aerial visuals. Mumbai, October 18 - Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures high-awaited Venom: The Last Dance is set to hit the Indian theatres a day earlier than its domestic release. It is directed by Kelly Marcel and is the last film in the Venom franchise. ## Starring Tom Hardy in the title role, Venom 3 has been confirmed to be released on October 24 in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages. The pre-sales for the same opened on October 18, almost a week before its big screen debut. ## Venom: The Last Dance is a sequel to Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), and the fifth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU). In the movie, set after the events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), Eddie Brock and the symbiote Venom go on the run when they are hunted by both of their worlds.## Marvel movies have historically done well at the Indian box office. Mumbai, October 18 - After the historic blockbuster success of Gadar 2, Bollywood star Sunny Deol teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for the first time for an action drama film, tentatively titled Jatt while simultaneously doing Rajkumar Santoshi's period action drama Lahore 1947. ## It was reported that Lahore 1947 would be Sunny's next release after Gadar 2 during the Republic Day 2025 weekend, however, the latest reports suggest it has been pushed back and the slot has now reportedly been taken by Jatt which is nearing its compilation.## According to the report by Pinkvilla, the makers are eyeing the Republic Day 2025 weekend release of Jatt and the official announcement is expected to be made soon. Hyderabad, October 17 - Director Prasanth Varma created a sensation earlier this year with his superhero movie Hanuman which emerged as a surprise big blockbuster at the box office, grossing close to 300 crores worldwide.
