Mumbai, October 8 - The most anticipated Indian movie of 2025, Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR-fronted spy action thriller War 2 is nearing its compilation. The movie is being directed by Ayan Mukerji and it is said he has curated one of the craziest action spectacles. ## A large chunk of War 2 has already been shot across the globe, and according to the report by Pinkvilla, the team is now gearing up to shoot the climax portions with Hrithik and Jr. NTR in November for which the preparations are in full swing. ## "The pre-production is on at YRF to design the biggest climax block of all time featuring two of the biggest superstars – Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr. While a part of the climax will be shot in Mumbai, a part of it shifts to another undisclosed location", says the report.## The climax portion of War 2 will reportedly be shot over 20 days, starting from November 1st week. Hrithik has already gotten into the pre-mode, following a certain health routine. Mumbai, October 8 - The hugely-anticipated trailer of director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again was launched on October 7 during an event in Mumbai and it has received a sensational response on social media platforms. ## The nearly 5-minute-long trailer has received a unanimous positive reception from critics and audiences, leading to extraordinary viewership on YouTube and other social media platforms.## The trailer was launched on Reliance Entertainment and Jio Studios' YouTube channels and it scored 52 million views combined on both channels in the first 24 hours. This makes it the third most-viewed Hindi trailer ever, after Dunki (58+ million) and Adipurush (52.15+ million) in 24 hours. ## In terms of Pan India (all languages), Singham 3 is the 9th most-watched trailer behind Jawan (55 million views) and ahead of RRR (51+ million views). Salaar: Ceasefire remains the most viewed trailer with 113 million, followed by KGF: Chapter 2 (107 million) and Adipurush (74 million) in the first 24 hours. ## Singham 3 is being hailed as Avengers of Cop Universe by fans. Mumbai, October 8 - Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-fronted Stree 2 has topped 850 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office. This makes it the 11th Indian movie and 7th outright Bollywood title of all time to achieve the feat.## Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror comedy has minted approximately 710 crores gross (595 crores net) collection in India and 144 crores overseas through 8th Monday (54 days). The movie's performance, both at the domestic and overseas box office, has been sensational.## Stree 2 needs just a 5 crore net collection more to enter the 600 crore club and considering the trend and festive season ahead, it is most likely to breach this historic figure. It is already the highest-grossing title at the Indian box office in a single language, beating Jawan's 582 crore Hindi net total. ## As said, Stree 2 which is the 5th movie in Maddock Supernatural Universe, is the biggest grosser for Shraddha, Rajkummar, Maddock, and Jio Studios, among other main talent involved. Mumbai, October 7 - Filmmaker Karan Johar's Dharma Productions announced on Monday that it will stop pre-release screenings of its future movies. The studio, like many others, used to host media screenings a day or two before the release dates. ## Describing this decision as a crucial measure to preserve the excitement surrounding the movie-going experience, Dharma said in a statement shared with the media, "This decision has been difficult to make, however, we believe it's a necessary step in ensuring that every viewer, including our friends in the media, witness our stories as they were meant to be experienced".## "We believe it will help in maintaining the excitement of the cinematic experience for all", the statement reads. The studio, however, is not entirely stopping the media screening as it confirmed in the statement that going forward, the press screening of each movie will now be hosted in the first half of the release day. ## "We warmly welcome all media personnel to join us at these screenings, where you will be the first to witness our latest offerings. We value the relationship built with each one of you over the years and look forward to your continued cooperation", the statement adds.## Dharma's next movie is the action thriller Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt. Mumbai, October 7 - Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-fronted horror-comedy Stree 2 is having an unbelievable box office run with an excellent collection. It has been an unstoppable force so far and still has enough gas left to sail through for a few more days. ## In its 8th weekend, the Maddock Films production scored approximately 2.65 crores net which is already the biggest 8th week collection ever in Hindi. The previous biggest 8th-week collection belonged to Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Pathaan which minted approximately 1.70 crores net collection. ## After its 8th weekend (53 days), Stress 2's total collection stands at approximately 594.60 crores net (709.25 crores gross). It is quite remarkable that the movie is still collecting over 1 crore net daily collection despite being in the 8th week. ## In the history of Indian cinema, no other film has earned more than Stree 2 in a single language at the domestic box office and this Amar Kaushik's directorial is now eyeing a rare historic finish by breaching the 600 crores net club. ## The movie still needs a little over 5 crore net collection to enter the next milestone club. Stree 2, unlike its smooth journey so far, will be facing multiple challenges in its bid to breach the milestone. Los Angeles, October 7 - Warner Bros. Pictures' high-profile sequel Joker: Folie à Deux bombed at the domestic (North America) box office with a shocking $40 million opening weekend. This is less than half of what the first movie grossed in the first weekend ($96 million) in 2019. ## Directed by Todd Phillips, Joker 2 is having terrible reviews all around from critics as well as audiences. It is the first comic book movie in history to score 'D' CinemaScore while Rotten Tomatoes score is also around just 30% for both, critics and audiences. ## While the domestic opening of the film is a disaster with a rebound unlikely, Joker 2 has a respectable overseas start in the projected range. At the international box office, the Joaquin Phoenix/Lady Gaga-starrer grossed $81 million from 70 markets in the 6-day opening weekend. ## The UK was the biggest international market for the sequel with an $8 million debut, followed by Germany ($6.9 million), Italy ($5.6 million), Mexico ($5.5 million) and France ($5 million). In India, the movie remained poor with approximately $1.65 million (14 crores gross) after a 5-day weekend.## The worldwide opening of Joker 2 is $121 million which is poor. Joker in 2019 scored a worldwide opening of $247 million, leading its way to a $1+ billion finish. Hyderabad, October 6 - Superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has a fantastic second Sunday at the domestic box office as it crossed the double-digit collection with a good jump of around 30% from Saturday, completing a decent second weekend. ## As per the early estimates, Devara is expected to gross 8-9 crores collection in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) with a jump of over 30%. In Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, the movie is estimated to gross in the range of 2 crore with the majority of collections coming from Karnataka with good hold. ## Apart from the South Indian states, the Hindi belt continues to bring good collections for Devara. On its second Sunday, the gross collection of the movie is expected to be 4.25+ crores in the North India region while the Hindi-language collection is estimated to be 3.75-4 crores net. ## Overall, Devara is expected to gross in the range of 14-15 crores (12-13 crore net) on its second Sunday (10th day), per estimates. This takes its total domestic collection to 287+ crores (243 crores net) in 10 days. The Hindi net collection has also crossed the 50 crores mark at around 52.75 crores so far. ## Devara has a decent second weekend of around 32 crores gross in India as it continues to sail through despite the mixed reception. It is expected to do well going forward as the holiday season approaches. Mumbai, October 6 - The countdown has begun for the much-anticipated trailer of director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again which drops on tomorrow, October 7 during an event. Led by Ajay Devgn, Singham 3 is easily one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies of the year. ## As the makers set to unleash the trailer, it is reportedly the lengthiest trailer ever for a Hindi film. According to the reports, the duration of the trailer will be 4 minutes and 45 seconds, making it the longest for a Bollywood title. ## The trailer is said to have all the ingredients one would expect from a Rohit Shetty entertainer with an ample dose of action, drama, and dialoguebaazi with all the actors of the movie. Mumbai, October 6 - It was recently revealed that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is playing a cameo in Varun Dhawan-fronted action thriller Baby John, directed by Tamil director Kalees. The movie is produced by Atlee with Murad Khetani and Jio Studios.## According to the report by Pinkvilla, the cameo of Salman Khan who is said to be playing a cop is being shot today (October 6) in Mumbai. It is a two-day shoot schedule with Salman and the big news is that Atlee is himself directing this important sequence of the movie. ## "While Baby John is helmed by Kalees, the cameo of Salman Khan, alongside the combination scenes with Varun Dhawan is being directed by Atlee himself. In fact, the entire cameo sequence of Salman is written, conceptualized and executed by Atlee. The sequence has dialogues, action and a fun camaraderie between Salman and Varun Dhawan. That's not all, a grand entry too has been designed keeping the larger-than-life aura of Salman in mind", says the report.## This is the first time Atlee is directing Salman Khan before the duo team up for a full-fledged movie next year. Hyderabad, November 9 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is basking on the success of the action drama Devara: Part 1 which grossed over 420 crores at the worldwide box office. This was the actor's second release in nearly 6 years and now, he is gearing up for back-to-back films. ## Jr. NTR is currently shooting for Yash Raj Films' spy action thriller War 2 which marks his Bollywood debut. He will soon start director Prashanth Neel's action drama, tentatively titled Dragon, and now according to the latest reports, the actor has locked in one more film. ## As per the latest Telugu media reports, the RRR star has been in talks with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar for a film. It is said that Nelson narrated a few story ideas to Jr. NTR and one of them will be locked soon. It will be the actor's next after Dragon. ## Nelson last directed superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer which was a huge blockbuster last year. His next directorial is Jailer 2 with the superstar and the production for the same is expected to begin once Rajinikanth finishes work on director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie. Hyderabad, October 5 - After the very good first-week collection, superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara - Part 1 entered the second with a decent hold on Friday, especially in Telugu states along with Hindi belt and Karnataka. ## On its second Saturday, Devara is showing a good jump of around 40% in terms of all India collections. In Telugu states, the movie is expected to gross in the range of 5.50-6 crores while in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, around 1.50 crores gross collection is expected, as per estimates.## In the North Belt, the film is estimated to gross in the range of 3 crores while the Hindi version is expected to score 2.75-3 crores net collection on its second Saturday (9th day). Overall, Devara is expected to score 10+ crore gross (8.50+ crores net) collection today, per estimates. ## The total collection of the movie after the second Saturday is around 272+ crores gross (230 crores net). The movie has done well in Telugu states, Karnataka and North India, despite the mixed word of mouth.
