Mumbai, May 1 - The makers of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's highly-awaited Pan India movie Pushpa 2 - The Rule has up the ante with 3 and a half months to go for the release. ## On May 1st, the first song (lyrical), Pushpa Pushpa from the film was released. The title song has been sung by Mika Singh, and Nakash Aziz in Hindi with Rockstar DSP (Devi Sri Prasad) composing the music. The lyrics in Hindi have been penned by Raqueeb Alam. ## The music of the first film, Pushpa - The Rise was a massive hit and one of the reasons for the film's box office success. The title song of Pushpa 2 gives the vibe of another chartbuster from DSP who won a National Award for Best Music Direction (Songs) in the first movie. ## ## Pushpa 2 is directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers with Sukumar Writings. Allu Arjun plays the titular character alongside Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles. Mumbai, May 1 - It has been quite some time since the announcement of Krrish 4 starring Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan in the titular superhero role. The movie has gone through multiple challenges over the last few years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the delay in the script. ## There hasn't been a concrete development on Krrish 4 though the makers have been saying that it would definitely be made. Recently, rumours hit social media that filmmaker Siddharth Anand would be co-producing the 4th instalment and now, the filmmaker has seemingly confirmed the the same. ## During a recent interaction on social media, the Pathaan director informed the audience the Krrish 4 is on with Hrithik Roshan returning as the fan favourite superhero. However, it is not yet confirmed who will direct the film, however, rumours say Anand might also take charge to helm this much-anticipated film. ## Hrithik Roshan is currently shooting for Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe film War 2, co-starring Jr. NTR in the leading role. It is being directed by Ayan Mukerji and is scheduled to be released on August 14, 2025, in multiple languages. Krrish 4 is expected to be Hrithik's immediate next and the shoot may start in 2025. ## The Krish franchise began with Koi... Mil Gaya in 2003. This was followed in 2006 by the release of Krrish, which featured Priyanka Chopra as the female lead. Kochi, May 1 - The latest blockbuster Aavesham has become the fifth highest-grossing Malayalam film at the box office. The Fahadh Faasil-starrer has outgrossed recent mega-blockbuster Premalu to enter the top Malayalam movie globally. ## The Jithu Madhavan's directorial action drama film will be crossing 133+ crores worldwide gross at the end of its 21st day (3rd Wednesday) which will take it past Premalu which minted approximately 131.50 crores at the global box office. ## Aavesham is now behind only Manjummel Boys (236+ crores), 2018 (180 crores), Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life (156 crores), and Pulimurugan (139.50 crores) at number 5. In the next few days, the movie will cross Pulimurugan and is likely to top Aadujeevitham to finish as the third highest-grossing Mollywood film. ## The 4 out of the 5 highest-grossers have been released in the last 12 months with Pulimurugan being the only film released before that. 2024 has particularly been an excellent year for the Malayalam film industry so far with 4 films crossing the 100 crores mark. ## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, May 1 - Yami Gautam is turning out to be a rare actress who is striking success at the box office as well as on the digital platforms. The last two films of the actress, OMG 2 and Article 370 emerged as big box office hits and at the same time, found audiences on their post-theatrical digital premiere. ## Article 370 is one of the major Bollywood successes and is one of the only six Bollywood movies of 2024 to cross the 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office. The movie was recently made available on Netflix on which the viewership of the film jumped in the second week. ## After scoring 5.6 million viewing hours from 2.1 million views in the first 3-day weekend, Article 370 jumped into the top 3 most viewed non-English Netflix films worldwide in its second week with 9.7 million viewing hours from 3.7 million views. The total viewership of the movie after 10 days reached 15.3 million viewing hours from 5.8 million views. ## Meanwhile, Aamir Khan's production venture Laapataa Ladies, which found some application upon its theatrical release in March this year with a worldwide gross collection of 24 crores (so far), debuted in the top 5 in Netflix's top 10 charts. ## The Kiran Rao's directorial film scored 4.5 million viewing hours from 2.2 million views in its first 3-day weekend. The movie, on the other hand, is still playing in theatres and it will be interesting to see how it performs from now on. The movie, which has turned 9 years old today, deals with the corruption in the government and how corruption is a major challenge to the nation. ## In the movie, after a vengeful college professor targets corruption in the government, he adopts the name "Gabbar" and becomes a hero to a weary public. Hyderabad, April 30 - Pan India superstar Prabhas and director Prasanth Neel collaborated for the first time for the 2-part action drama Salaar. The first part of the film Salaar: Ceasefire, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, was released in December 2023 and was one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year with worldwide gross collection of over 600 crores. ## Ever since the last of Salaar: Ceasefire, there have been a lot of enquiries about the shoot of the second part, titled Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, and now, there is a positive development on the same. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Salaar 2 is set to go on floors by the end of May with a 10-day schedule at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. It is said that the script of the sequel has been enhanced based on the feedback for the first part and the makers are satisfied with the output. Prabhas and Prithviraj will join the first schedule of Salaar 2 which will focus on their rivalry. ## Produced by Hombale Films, a major part of Salaar 2 will be shot this year, with residual portions in the first quarter of 2025. Mumbai, April 30 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar reunited with filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala for the 5th instalment of the blockbuster Housefull franchise. Directed by Dostana fame Tarun Manshukhani, the movie was supposed to go on floors in early 2024 but was delayed due to some reasons. ## According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, Housefull 5 is set to start rolling in the UK in August 2024. It is said that a major part of the film will be shot inside a lavish cruise over a 45-day first schedule. Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh will be joined by a big ensemble and the casting is currently underway. ## "This is the most exciting part of the film, as the franchise leaps by introducing the audience to a completely new world in the comic space. The entire confusion of this comic caper unfolds on a cruise and producer Sajid Nadiadwala has blocked a lavish cruise for this mad-cap entertainer. Mumbai, April 29 - The first trailer of Disney's highly-awaited Mufasa - The Lion King, a prequel to the studio's billion-dollar grosser The Lion King (2019), is released on April 29. ## Directed by Barry Jenkins, the photorealistic animated film will explore the origin story of the titular lion, Mufasa with his brother Taka aka Scar, who went on to become the main antagonist in The Lion King.## Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison Jr. have voiced the younger versions of Mufasa and Scar, respectively. Earlier, James Earl Jones voiced Mufasa in both the 1994's original film and the 2019's remake. Jeremy Irons voiced Scar in 1994 before Chiwetel Ejiofor replaced him in 2019. ## ## The Lion King, which was released in July 2019, is Disney's one of the highest-grossing films with $1.66 billion at the worldwide box office.
