Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Delhi Daredevils by 6 wickets, after AB De Villiers's sensational innings of 90* off 39 balls, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on Saturday (April 21). De Villiers special overshadows Rishabh Pant's brilliant 48-ball 85 (six fours and seven sixes) as RCB registered their second win in 5 games to move up to the fifth spot.## Where DD went wrong? ##In the first six overs, where they could only manage 28 runs. After opting for the ball, keeping in mind the possibility of rain and hoping bowlers come up with the disciplined effort. RCB put pressure on DD straightaway by not giving easy runs. With the combination of Spin and Pace, they struggled Daredevils' batsmen with accurate line and lengths. Resulted, DD could only manage to get 28 runs and lost both the openers, Gautam Gambhir and Jason Roy in first six overs. Chennai Super Kings beat Rajasthan Royals by 64-runs, after Shane Watson's third IPL century and a dominating bowling performance at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Friday (April 20). The win over RR, helped CSK to move on top of the points table while RR slipped to fifth place.## This might not be had happened if Rahul Tripathi didn't drop Shane Watson in first slip off Stuart Binny on 8 in first over of the innings. It was a regulation chance and came at a nice height to Tripathi but he couldn't hold it. The drop proved to be the turning point of the match as Shane Watson add 98 more runs to that drop.## It was Ajinkya Rahane, who won the toss and elected to bowl first. CSK came off to a flier as they reached their fifty in 4.3 overs before Ambati Rayudu got out to Ben Laughlin. He made 12 off 8 balls. The wicket of Rayudu brought Suresh Raina on the crease, who missed out previous two games for CSK. He didn't take much time to take off.## In the last over of powerplay, Raina hit four fours in a row to Ben Stokes. His partnership with Watson was the highlight of the CSK's innings. The duo put on an 81-runs standoff just 44 balls for the second wicket. Raina made 46 off 29 balls including 9 fours. After putting 131 for 2 in 11.3 overs, CSK were all set to put up the big total. But Shreyas Gopal bowled superbly in middle overs and grab the wickets of Suresh Raina, Dhoni and Billings in quick succession and slow down the run rate.## Bravo played a cameo in the end and he and Watson ensured that CSK crossed the 200 run mark. Kings XI Punjab won their final home game at Mohali, to handed Sunrisers Hyderabad their first defeat in VIVO IPL 2018 by 15 runs on Thursday (April 19). Led by Chris Gayle's sixth IPL century, KXIP posted a 194-run target. SRH fell short 15 runs from target despite, Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey's half-century.##This was Gayle's second game for KXIP and he followed up his 63 runs in the previous game with yet another IPL century. He sat out from first two opening game of KXIP.##Ravichandran Ashwin, after winning the toss, decided to bat first. Gayle took his time to find the grove as the ball was doing a bit early on but as soon as he hit first six then there was no stopping of him. He hit eleven sixes and a four in his century. He took on No.1 T20I bowler, Rashid Khan for four sixes in a row 14 over of the innings.##Gayle looked in different shape against SRH. He was running hard and picked right deliveries for those monstrous sixes. He reached to his half-century off 39 balls and rest of the carnage took only 24 more. Kolkata Knight Riders beat Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets on Wednesday (April 18) at their fortress, Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. This was RR's first defeat after ten consecutive wins at Jaipur. Although, RR couldn't give tough fight after KKR spinners restricting them to 160 for 8 in 20 overs. The chase proved to be walk in the park for KKR as they won their third game to move to the top of the points table.##After winning the toss, Dinesh Karthik decided to field first. Royals off to a good start and put 54 run stands for the first wicket before Rahane stumped by Dinesh Karthik of Nitish Rana. Defending champion Mumbai Indians finally break the shekels after three consecutive losses, to hand a thumping 46 runs defeat to Royal Challengers Bangalore, despite, Virat Kohli's lone hand of 92 off 62 balls.## After winning the toss, Virat Kohli opted for MI bat first. Kolkata Knight riders back to winning streak after two consecutive losses, beaten Delhi Daredevils by 71 runs in a one-sided affair on Monday (April 16). DD never looked in the game despite, Rishabh Pant and Glenn Maxwell's 62 run partnership in 33 balls between them.## Sour Gautam Gambhir's Eden Gardens return, where he scripted several victories for KKR.##Russell and Rana played a big part in KKR innings. After winning the toss, KKR elected to bat first. At one stage they were struggling to score big after they were reduced to 117 for 4 in 14 overs. But Andre Russell changed the game in space of 11 balls before he bowled out to Trent Boult. He was dropped out by Jason Roy on 6 and that proved to be the turning point of the match as he took charge on Mohammed Shami and hit six sixes to him. His 41 of 12 balls and his partnership (61 of 22 balls) with Nitish Rana ensured that KKR put on a massive total. KKR finished on 200 for 9 in 20 overs. Rajasthan Royals won the match by 19 runs against RCB after putting a big total of 217 for 4 in 20 overs. Delhi Daredevils finally managed to win a match with yet another last-ball finish in IPL 2018 over Mumbai Indians in their home ground. Injuries are continuing to hunt fast bowlers in this IPL as KKR's Kamlesh Nagarkoti is the latest bowler, who ruled out from the IPL 2018 due to a foot injury. The 18-year old, who played a major role in India's Under-19 world cup triumph, will now be replaced by Karnataka's speedster Prasidh Krishna.##Kamlesh Nagarkoti was picked by KKR in INR 3.2 crore in Auction earlier in this year.##Nagarkoti's replacement, Prasidh, made his first-class debut for Karnataka in 2015, picking up a five-for against Bangladesh A in Mysore. He picked up 33 wickets in 19 List A games. He is not as fast as Nagarkoti but his tall frame and hitting the deck hard makes him a promising bowler. Recently, He was the part of Karnataka's side in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.##Nagarkoti is the second bowler after Mitchell Starc, who ruled out from IPL due to injury.
