Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar recently revealed the star cast of his next directorial, India Lockdown, which is based on true events that happened during the lockdown caused by the covid-19 pandemic last year. The cast includes Sai Tamhankar, Prateik Babbar, Shweta Basu Prasad, and Aahana Kumra in prominant roles. ## Actress Aahana Kumra plays a pilot in the film. She said that it is a job profile that demands travel, but her character is forced to stay at home owing to Covid-induced lockdown and face emotional turmoil.## "I'm playing a pilot who's stuck in her house in Mumbai during the lockdown and doesn't get to travel and live her usual life. During this phase, she truly understands the meaning of relationships, through the loneliness that she experiences. It's a very interesting space for me to be in", Aahana told IANS.## She is excited to work with Bhandarkar, who is known for creating strong female roles in films such as "Chandni Bar", "Page 3", "Satta", "Fashion", "Corporate" and "Heroine". Aahana said that she has always admired Bhandarkar's work. "I'm very thrilled to be a part of a story like this, and I really look forward to the process of filming this movie. I will be shooting in Mumbai soon in one house, so let's hope it turns out to be fabulous. I will give it my best", the actress added.## Personally, Aahana admits to being anxious during lockdown but knew how to channelize her energy. "I was really anxious when the lockdown was announced because I had always loved outdoors and lived out of suitcases for three years. I have always loved being out in the sun and I missed that the most during the lockdown", she said.## "I wasn't suffocated because I meditated a lot. I started channelizing my energies in other spaces like working out, focusing on being a better version of myself. Telugu superstar, Pawan Kalyan has donated for the construction work of Ayodhya's Ram Mandir. The actor, who is in Tirupati, has announced a sum of Rs 30 lakh as donations to Ram Mandir Trust. Pawan said people across the nation are voluntarily offering donations towards building Ram Mandir.## Kalyan's colleagues and leaders of the Janasena Party – who are from various religions including Christians, Muslims- have also made an additional contribution. Pawan handed over both these cheques for the amount to RSS AP unit head Bharat, in the presence of former minister Kamineni Srinivas.## During the announcement of his donation, the actor-politician expressed his love, bhakti for Lord Shri Ram. There was a massive demand for the sequel of Disney+Hotstar's action espionage thriller web series, Special Ops, headlined by Kay Kay Menon. The series gained a homogenous response from the viewers and now, filmmaker Neeraj Pandey and Disney+ Hotstar on Friday announced a multi-series franchise, titled "Special Ops Universe". ## The first show in the franchise will be "Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story", which will see Menon reprising his role of Himmat Singh from the 2020 series. The new series will tell Singh's backstory and form a pivotal part of the universe in three episodes which will start production later this year. ## "We are starting off with a unique 'Special Ops 1.5' which is neither a prequel nor a sequel. The series will start with Himmat Singh being assigned to another case, but the deflection point is the same parliament attack that started the series of events. It will be narrated across three episodes, approximately an hour-long each", the filmmaker said in a statement as reported in News 18.## You loved it, so we brought it back! Actor Vivian Dsena, who rose to fame with the supernatural television show Pyaar Kii Yeh Ekk Kahani, is not perturbed by the sudden wave of OTT taking over. He believes that the two mediums are different and cannot be compared.## "Everybody is not an OTT fan, and everybody is not an Indian television fan. The audience is very neatly separated or rather bifurcated", Vivian tells IANS.## The actor who is known for his performances as Abhay in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani, R.K. in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, has reasons to believe that the digital world should not be confused with what television has to offer. ## "The digitalization is in the direction of a digital world so if you compare it with television it would be very different because both the mediums are different. I don't think OTT should be in competition with Indian television because the basics never change, so television has always been the base of the mass audience platform, and digitalization is a completely different world", he says.## Speaking about his popularity, Vivian says he never imagined he could deliver a hit following the super success of 'Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani' show in which he played a vampire. ## "I never thought all three shows of mine would do so good. After 'Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani', I never thought that 'Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon' would become such a big show, and after 'Madhubala...', my next release 'Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki' would also become such a big show. Amid much speculation, the Daniel Craig-starrer James Bond adventure, No Time To Die, has been delayed yet again. An update on the official Twitter handle of the film on Friday stated that Craig's final outing as Agent 007 has now been pushed to October 8 for a theatrical release.## The release has been pushed amid the ongoing pandemic, with theatres still trying to recover business post lockdown. The film, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, was originally scheduled for release in April 2020 but was pushed to November last year owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. Jared Leto's superhero adventure Morbius has been delayed again to avoid a clash with the Bond film. A Spider-Man spinoff, Morbius was slated to release on October 8. It has now moved to January 21, 2022. ## No Time To Die brings back Craig as the iconic spy James Bond for his final outing. The 25th Bond adventure will see Craig revisiting his past, bringing it to the present in order to save the future.
