The movie marks the official Bollywood debut for Sethupathy as he is no longer a part of Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. ## Karan Johar and SS Rajamauli shared the first look poster of the movie that featured an ensemble cast including Vijay, Vikrant Massey, Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, Tanya Maniktala, Sachin Khedekar. Vikrant Massey will step into Sundeep Kishan's shoes in the Hindi remake. Maanagaram, which released in 2017, was an edge-of-the-seat thriller directed by young filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. Mumbaikar will be produced by Shibu Thameens that happens to be his Hindi debut production. ## Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathy is waiting for the release of his next film Master which stars Thalapathy Vijay in the title role.
