While the actors Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani are waiting for their upcoming movies to release, the duo seems to have another big project in their kitty. ## According to a report in a leading portal, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani were seen in the Karan Johar's office on August 7 where they reportedly have signed the dotted lines of the film which is said to be a romantic comedy entertainer and will be directed by the Good Newwz director Raj Mehta.## Earlier, Varun and Kiara were supposed to do Shashank Khaitan's "Mr. Lele" but the film eventually got slaved owing to the difference of opinion with respect to the script between the stakeholders. ## If everything goes as per plan then it will be the second time when Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani will share the big screen together. Previously, the duo had an interesting dynamic in "Kalank" in which Kiara played Varun's girlfriend in an extended cameo. ## Interestingly, Kiara Advani has already several projects in the pipeline. India have retained the hosting rights for the men's T20 World Cup in 2021 while Australia will host T20 World Cup in 2022. Both the nations were not able to host the respective tournaments which were originally scheduled to take place in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ## Meanwhile, Women's ODI World Cup which was slated to be played in New Zealand in February-March 2021, has now been postponed to February-March 2022, the ICC announced on Friday (August 7) after a meeting of the International Business Corporation (the commercial subsidiary of the ICC). ## "We now have absolute clarity on the future of ICC events enabling all of our Members to focus on the rescheduling of lost international and domestic cricket. We will now proceed as planned with the Men's T20 World Cup 2021 in India and host the 2022 edition in Australia," ICC Chief Executive Manu Sawhney said.## Earlier, ICC had announced the postponement of the 2020 edition of the Men's T20 World Cup on July 20 and had also marked a window for the three men's events in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Read More... ## Important to know that the format for the Men's T20 World Cup in 2021 will remain as it was in 2020, with all teams that qualified for the 2020 event to be part of the event in India in 2021. However, a new qualification process will be in place for the Men's T20 World Cup in 2022.## For the Women's 50-over World Cup, five teams had already qualified for the tournament originally scheduled in 2021. The final three teams were to be decided through a qualification competition that was scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka in July 2020 but was postponed because of the pandemic. That qualification event will now be held in 2021 with the ICC yet to decide on the dates.## "We have taken the decision to move the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup to give players from every competing nation, the best opportunity to be ready for the world's biggest stage and there is still a global qualifier to complete to decide the final three teams," Sawhney said.## "There has been no women's international cricket played since the conclusion of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup earlier this year and due to the varying impact of COVID-19 globally, that is likely to remain the situation for a number of the teams. For the last few days, there have been some continuous reports that the production house Yash Raj Films will announce several projects one by one on its 50th anniversary.## Under the YRF50 announcement, earlier, there were some reports that Aditya Chopra, to make the last film of the Tiger series with Salman Khan, and Katrina Kaif, which will be made on a bigger level than the previous two films and will have a Hollywood level action sequence. However, the film is yet to announce but according to some reports, Siddharth Anand Film has got a tentative title in Pathan and SRK most likely to have Deepika Padukone as his leading partner in the film. ## Pathan will be an action thriller film which sees SRK play the most heroic character of his career. According to a report stated in a leading portal, "Shah Rukh Khan has been on the hunt to do an action film for a while now and Siddharth Anand offered him exactly what he was looking for. The character is rooted, earthy, larger-than-life, it's heroic, it's stylish and has the swag to pull off the big-scale action". ## The report further stated that "Shah Rukh Khan's role in Pathan will be very much the same as he played in movies like Don and Raees. Actress Rhea Chakraborty has been in the legal process regarding the Sushant Singh Rajput death case ever since Sushant's father KK Singh has filed an FIR against her and 5 others. KK Singh has made some serious allegations on Rhea including abetment to suicide and fraud. ## Rhea has been accused of money laundering regards to Rs. 15 crores missing from the late actor's account. The Board Of Cricket Control In India (BCCI) has officially suspended the title sponsorship with the Chinese mobile company Vivo for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League amid soaring India-China diplomatic tensions. ## BCCI, without giving any details sent out the one-line statement to say that the Vivo will not be associated with the IPL 2020. ## "The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Vivo Mobile India Pvt Ltd have decided to suspend their partnership for Indian Premier League in 2020", the press release stated. ## FYI, Vivo won the title sponsorship rights for five years from 2018 to 2022 for a reported sum of ₹2190 crore, approximately ₹440 crores per annum. Now, with Vivo is no longer hold the sponsorship rights for this year's IPL, BCCI likely to float a tender for the new title sponsors. ## As it was earlier decided, the IPL 2020 has moved to the UAE due to the rising COVID-19 cases in India. The famous TV personality, Sameer Sharma who had worked in the popular tv-shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi found dead at his Mumbai home on Wednesday night.## According to the initial information shared by Malad police, the security guard at the apartment complex had informed the police. Sameer Sharma was found hanging from the kitchen ceiling at his apartment in Malad west on Wednesday (August 5) night.## Police said that an accidental death report has been registered and the body has been sent for autopsy. ## "We have not found any evidence that suggests he may have been killed. Also, no suicide note has been found at the house so far. We are still investigating the case," an officer said. The body has been sent for autopsy.## The 44-year old was an acknowledged actor who gave some of the memorable performances through TV shows and movies. After working in the TV shows like Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Geet Hui Sabse Parayee, and Left Right Left, he made his Bollywood debut with the movie "Hasee Toh Phasee". Team India skipper Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara have been two of the strongest pillars of the Indian test side for quite some time now. These two, however, are completely different from each other in terms of the batting approach but are the most important players for the team. ## Virat and Pujara like to play with each other. Despite the fact that Virat likes to dominate the opposition while Pujara grinds them out, both make one of the most successful pairs in test cricket. The duo has accumulated 2894 runs together with 7 hundred and 14 fifty-plus partnerships and an average of 47.44 in 62 innings together. ## Cheteshwar Pujara who bats at number 3 says that he likes to bat with Virat Kohli because he is a very positive player and likes to play his shots which takes the pressure off him. Speaking to Harsha Bhogle in Cricbuzz in Conversation episode, Pujara said - ## "I enjoy batting with Kohli because he's a positive player. Once he's at the crease, I know that bowlers will try and take his wicket because they feel that they can get him out early".## "But his approach is different, he'll be positive. If he gets a half-volley on the first ball, he'll try and hit it for a four. So the scoreboard is moving, there's not much pressure on my side because the opposition is thinking that they'll have to pick Virat's wicket and he's playing positive", he added. ## "Their focus is shifting to Virat and I can be relaxed at the other end. There have been times where because their [opposition's] focus is on Virat, I get some extra loose balls."## When asking about what they discussed at the crease while batting, to which Pujara said, "As soon as he comes he will ask what are they (the opposition) trying to do, how the ball is swinging. If it's a left-arm seamer, what are the angles he is using, whether he's trying to bowl an inswinger or an away swinger? There's a lot of communication."## Pujara also revealed that they like to help each other when any of them makes a mistake the other one will go to him and tell what should be done apart from building up the partnership. He also said that even though Virat will listen to the advice he will still play his natural game. ## "There are times where he would've played a cover drive when the ball is on the fifth or sixth stump, and I'll go and communicate to him that this is too wide. He plays his natural game, no doubt about that but he's ready to listen to that advice. Because if the ball is too wide for a cover drive, he also understands that it is not in his zone so he doesn't need to play that".## "But he will play a cover drive on the ball which is on the off-stump or fourth stump, but if it is on the fifth stump, he will listen. He will tell me 'yeah I didn't play that well", Pujara added.## As the coronavirus pandemic has put a break on the cricket, Pujara will have to wait till December when team India will tour Australia.
