After more than one and a half months, the Sushant Singh Rajput death case has been transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation. The Central government has officially informed the Supreme Court of India today (August 5) that the Bihar government's recommendation for the CBI probe into the death of the actor has been accepted.## Yesterday, the Bihar government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has recommended the CBI probe after Sushant's father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and also spoke to Nitish Kumar requesting him for the CBI investigation.## For a few weeks now, Sushant's fans and close ones had been asking the centre to transfer the case to the CBI for the fair investigation. The demand for CBI enquiry also picked pace after the news of mutual confrontation between Mumbai Police and Bihar Police started coming to the fore.## FYI, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai apartment on June 14 and it was said to be a suicide. The third installment of the highly successful Tiger franchise has been a talk of the town and rumors rife that the movie can be announced officially on the birth anniversary of Yash Chopra on September 27. ## Earlier, there were some reports floating on social media that Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan will return to helm Tiger 3 but, he dismissed the speculations recently. ## Now, according to some reports, Yash Raj Films' Chairman & MD, Aditya Chopra wanted a new director for every film that the production house is set to announce. The report further stated that Maneesh Sharma, who's directed Band Baaja Baaraat, will direct Tiger 3 that will be his first movie in the action genre. Aditya Chopra believes that Sharma can bring a new dimension to the franchise. ## It is being reported that Aditya Chopra and Jaideep Sahni have worked on the screenplay and developed the story of Tiger 3 that is expected to Salman Khan's biggest film in terms of scale and it will be shot in different countries. ## Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently working on his upcoming movie Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai that is a remake of South Korean film Veteran. In a view of the big development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Bihar Government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has recommended the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe in the actor's death case. ## Earlier, Sushant's father KK Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, Bihar. He also spoke to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and requested him to order a CBI investigation into the actor's death case. Now, Bihar Government has decided to entrust the FIR lodged by Rajput's father for a probe to CBI alleging that Mumbai police did not cooperate with Bihar police in the probe. ## "The DGP spoke to Sushant Singh Rajput's father this morning and he gave consent for CBI inquiry. So now, we are recommending CBI probe in the matter", said Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to ANI.## Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government is not in favor of Sushant's case handed to CBI. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Sunday (August 2) had condemned for a CBI investigation into the actor's death case. He shared on social media that the onus will be on Mumbai Police to solve the case despite an FIR lodged by Patna Police. ## "@MumbaiPolice already began investigating allegations about @itsSSR's unfortunate alleged suicide. Even if Bihar Police registered an offence in Patna, under Ch. 12 & 13 of the #CrPC it has to be investigated, inquired and tried by police and courts within whose jurisdiction...," Anil Deshmukh said in a tweet.## "...the offence is committed. I condemn the demand for the @itsSSR case to be handed to #CBI. The case is now being politicised for political gains. #MaharashtraPolice is inquiring into the case professionally and are competent in digging out the truth, leaving no stone unturned!" he added.## Stay tuned...

The Sushant Singh Rajput's death has shocked the entire nation. While the Mumbai Police had already declared his death by suicide, Sushant's fans and family, however, are not ready to accept that he committed suicide, and hence, they want to know the actual reason behind his untimely demise. ## However, the Mumbai Police is investigating his death and it's been over a month. So far, the Mumbai Police have recorded statements of over 50 people. Bihar Police also came in the action and has started their independent investigation after an FIR was filed against Rhea Chakraborty by Sushant's family in Patna. ## Now, after a month and a half, Mumbai Police held a press conference and made several clarifications on their findings related to Sushant's death, his ex-manager Disha Salian's death, and the issues that have cropped up with Bihar Police. ## Mumbai Police Commissioner has said that Sushant was disturbed seeing his name being mentioned in the articles related to ex-manager Disha Salian who jumped from the 13th floor, 5 days before the actor's death. ## The Commissioner also said that they have so far recorded the statements of 56 people and It has come to the surface that he had 'Bipolar Disorder' and he even searched about it along with schizophrenia, and Painless Death on Google.## The Mumbai Police further said, "Bihar police have no jurisdiction to investigate this case, we are seeking legal opinion on that. We have not given clean chit to anyone, but the complainant [referring to KK Singh's complaint] has not come to us."## Mumbai Police also reacted on the allegations made against them for forcibly quarantined a Bihar Police officer and said, "They have no role in quarantining any officer, it's the BMC that has acted on it".## Stay tuned...

Akshay has termed it the quickest film he has ever signed and dedicated this to his sister Alka and & to the most special bond in the world. ## The movie will be directed by none other than Aanand L Rai while Himanshu Sharma has written it. According to the reports, Bareilly Ki Barfi actress has signed the most-awaited and anticipated superhero film Krrish 4. ## However, Hrithik Roshan and makers have not made official yet about the other cast and shooting schedule, but it was recently when the director and producer of Krrish franchise Rakesh Roshan had said that he has started working on the script and will make it official once it completed. ## The Krrish series previously had Priyanka Chopra as the leading lady of the film that is the only successful superhero series B-Town has to date. The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, is all set to kick-off from September 19 with the final to be played on November 10 in the UAE. It will be the longest 8-team IPL edition which is 53-days long. ## Following the IPL Governing Council meeting on Sunday (August 2), that matches will be played in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi subject to necessary clearances from the Government of India. It is important that the Sports Ministry of India has given a go-ahead to the tournament while the approvals from the Home Ministry and Ministry of External Affairs are expected soon. ## The IPL governing council has also given a nod to the 3 sides Women's T20 Challenge for the 4-matches that will take place during the IPL play-off week from 1-10 September.## Some key decisions were taken in the meeting today, meanwhile -## => The night matches will start at 19:30 IST instead of the 20:00 IST while the afternoon ones at 15:30 IST instead of 16:00 IST. ## => All the matches will be played in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. ## => There will be a total of 10 double-headers. ## => Maximum 24 players to be allowed in the squad per team. ## => Unlimited Covid-19 Substitutes.## => Four matches of the Women's T20 Challenge will take place during the IPL play-off week to be played by three teams.## => VIVO to continue to be the sponsorship partners of the IPL 2020. ## "The Governing Council also discussed the comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which will be finalized and published in due course, including the agencies to execute and deliver a bio-secure environment for the safe and successful conduct of IPL 2020 Season," said the statement. ## Stay tuned...

While the Coronavirus pandemic is still looming large, the filmmakers have been taking to the over-the-top (OTT) platform to release their movies. Theaters have gone out of the business temporarily and with no clarity when it will open, makers have already started releasing their movies on the digital platform. ## The growing impact of the digital platform has led to a discussion on the advantages of the OTT platform. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui whose 'Raat Akeli Hai' was recently premiered on Netflix, opens up about the same. ## Speaking to a leading portal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, "There is freedom and there is an advantage (of releasing movies) especially with bigger OTT platforms like Netflix. There is an advantage because, when a film made on the budget of Rs 100-150 crore is released in the theatres, it takes over all the screens, even if the movie is shit."## He further said that the lower budget movies that do not get enough shows because of the big-budget movies in theaters, on OTT platform even the low budget movies get same kind of viewership.## "On the other hand, good, low budget films do not get screens and even if they get it will get a show at 11 in the morning or 11 in the night. At least now, if the film is worth Rs 100 crore or Rs 15 crore, when released on Netflix, the viewership will be the same. Now, it all depends on which film is good and what people want to watch. Thank God, because of this platform the film goes across the globe and we have a vast audience".## Nawazuddin Siddiqui's last movie that recently premiered on Netflix is also one of the low budget movies that is receiving a lot of appreciation.
