Hyderabad, March 14 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire is all set to re-release on the big screen on March 21. The movie, directed by Prashanth Neel, was originally released in December 2023 and emerged as a box office hit with over 600 crores gross collection worldwide.## Salaar has been trending on Disney Plus Hotstar for more than a year now as the movie is slowly becoming popular nationwide. Cashing on this opportunity, the makers decided to re-release it across the country and the decision is proving right as it's off to a strong start in the pre-sales. ## Eight days ahead of the re-release, the bookings for the film opened and on its first day, it sold over 25K tickets on the first day. The trend continues to be strong on the second day and so far, it has sold nearly 50K total tickets which is excellent. ## If the trend remains strong, then Salaar can emerge as the biggest re-release grosser at the Indian box office and this looks certain as it has reached more people due to OTT and there is unanimous acknowledgement for its big screen experience. ## The box office result of Salaar re-release might also dictate the term for its sequel which is scheduled to start rolling later this year. ## Stay tuned...

Chennai, March 14 - After facing a setback with Vidaamuyarchi, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar is hoping for a solid comeback with the action comedy Good Bad Ugly. The movie, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, promises to be a solid entertainer after seeing the teaser. ## The electrifying teaser has generated huge hype for the film and now, the official storyline has also reportedly been revealed which which promises a mass fest for the fans who have been eagerly waiting for the action to unfold.## The synopsis reads, "A fearless don tries to change his ruthless ways and violent life to live peacefully with his family in society. However, his dark past and brutal actions continue to follow him. He faces them head-on and overcomes them. This is a tale of vengeance, loyalty, and the cost of power".## Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Good Bad Ugly has music by GV Prakash Kumar who recently stated confidently that it would be his best work and a glimpse of it was felt in the teaser which was elevated by his rocking background score. Mumbai, March 13 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will be celebrating his 60th birthday on March 14 and on the evening of it, he addressed the media at his residence and shared updates regarding his future projects, including the next release Sitaare Zameen Par.## When asked about the film, Aamir confirmed that this R. S. Prasanna's directorial is the sequel to his 2007 drama, Taare Zameen Par and the official release date of it will be announced tomorrow, i.e. on his birthday. It is produced by produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions.## Meanwhile, according to the report by Pinkvilla, SZP's final edit is on the verge of being locked and it will hit the big screens in June 2025. Aamir Khan has been passionately working on this slice-of-life sports comedy-drama and is confident that it will win over audiences and work big at the box office.## The makers are also working on the teaser and trailer and they will start promotion during the IPL 2025 season. Kochi, March 13 - One of the biggest Malayalam films, superstar Mohanlal-fronted action drama Empuraan is announced for March 27 release in multiple languages but it might get postponed to the new date due to the internal tussle. ## The release of the film is in only 2 weeks but the makers are yet to drop the trailer or any other promotional content. Over the last few weeks, it has been reported that there has been a dispute between Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas for the distribution and business of the movie and the latest development indicates the same. ## According to Forum Keralam, Aashirvad Cinemas wants Lyca to exit the movie but the latter, despite showing a willingness to part ways, is not ready to do the same on the former's term. It is said that Lyca wants its partner studio to settle its investment of approximately 75 crores, plus an additional 10 crores. ## There have been multiple discussions regarding the matter but things are not moving toward an amicable solution. If the matter gets prolonged, Empuraan may be postponed to the new release which looks likely given the fact that there will be limited time left for the promotion of the movie across the country.## Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran who also plays a key role in the movie, is the second instalment in a planned trilogy and is a follow-up to the 2019 film Lucifer. Mumbai, March 13 - Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor has teased the announcement of Brahmastra Part Two — Dev soon. It is the sequel to Brahmastra Part 1 - Shiva and is the second instalment of a planned trilogy, which is itself planned to be part of a cinematic universe titled Āstraverse. ## Director Ayan Mukerji confirmed the second part was supposed to start immediately after the first film which was released in 2022. However, the filmmaker decided to re-work the script which delayed its production and in-between, he took up Yash Raj Films' highly-awaited spy action thriller War 2 which is slated to release in August this year. ## Since there was no development taking place regarding Brahmastra 2, rumours about its cancellation started spreading until recently when Ranbir himself cleared the air on this mega project. The actor along with his wife Alia Bhatt conducted a meet-and-greet session with the media in Mumbai recently where they spoke about their future project .## When asked about this epic fantasy action-adventure film, Ranbir confirmed that Ayan Mukerji will start pre-production work on it after War 2. Hyderabad, March 13 — Tamil director Atlee is next teaming up with superstar Allu Arjun after his collaboration with superstar Salman Khan didn't materialize for various reasons. It is a mega-budgeted epic film which reportedly demands a budget of over 600 crores. ## Tamil production house Sun Pictures was on board to bankroll this hugely-anticipated collaboration but it seems things are not moving as per the wish of director Atlee. It is said that the filmmaker is demanding 100 crores in remuneration for the movie and this is reportedly not working in his favour.## According to the latest rumours in Tamil media, Sun Pictures is hesitating and is likely to back out from producing this project. If the studio doesn't bankroll it, then there are reports that producer Dil Raju might take this up which is not yet confirmed.## Additionally, there were reports that Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan would join this massive Pan India project, however, Allu Arjun is reportedly not ready to be a part of a multistarrer in any form, be it an extended cameo or in a full-length role.## The report about AA not willing to headline a 2-hero film might lead director Atlee to revisit the story and if this happens, then the project will be further delayed. Mumbai, March 12 - Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa is all set to star as the female lead in the upcoming romantic drama Deewaniyat opposite Harshvardhan Rane. Mumbai, March 12 - The anticipation for the third instalment of the iconic comedy franchise Here Pheri is at an all-time high. The movie was recently officially confirmed with the announcement that director Priyadarshan would return to helm it. ## Here, Pheri 3 will see the trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal reuniting along with most of the original cast. While there is still some left for the film to start rolling, Shetty recently spoke about it and the originality of director Priyadarshan. ## The actor talked about the film in a recent interview (according to Times of India) and expressed his confidence in it.
