Prabhas To Put 'Salaar' And 'Project K' Shoot On Hold For 'Adipurush'

Hyderabad, September 26 - It is going to be an exciting few months for superstar Prabhas who will be juggling between the shoots of his upcoming films and the promotion of his mega movie Adipurush. ## Prabhas recently returned to the sets of Salaar and resumed filming after the demise of his actor uncle, legendary Krishnam Raju. The exciting news is that Prabhas will be heading to Ayodhya on October 2nd and unveiling the first look teaser of "Adipurush".## Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" is based on the epic Ramayana and it is scheduled to release on January 12, 2023. The promotion of the movie will begin with a first-look teaser but the extensive promotion will start in November. ## It is said that Prabhas will fully focus on "Adipurush" in December and January till the release of the movie. During this period, the "Baahubali" actor will not shoot for "Salaar" and "Project K". Prabhas has reportedly agreed to cater all his dates in December for the film's promotions. ## "Adipurush" is the most expensive Indian film to date with a budget of approx. 500 crores. Box Office: Brahmastra Storms Past 400 Crores Worldwide

Mumbai, September 26 - The Astras continue to light up the Bollywood box office!## Director Ayan Mukerji's fantasy action adventure Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has crossed the 400 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Bollywood movie since Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War to achieve the milestone. ## The Ranbir Kapoor-fronted film reached the landmark box office figure on its 17th day, after scoring over 6 crores on its 3rd Sunday. With this, the movie has also crossed 250 crores net in India and again becomes the highest-grossing Bollywood movie domestically, outscoring The Kashmir Files. ## The current box office figures of the film stand at Rs. 253 crores net, and approx. Rs. 402 crores worldwide gross.## Brahmastra is the 15th Bollywood movie of all time and is the second for Ranbir Kapoor after "Sanju" and the first for Alia Bhatt to reach 400 crores gross worldwide. Overall, Brahmastra is the 22nd Indian movie to achieve this milestone. Brahmastra Third Sunday Early Estimate

Mumbai, September 25 - Brahmastra is heading towards a very good third Sunday as the early estimates suggest around 6.30 crores collections. There is a good jump compared to yesterday which is a positive sign for the film which also means the film will hold slightly better than expected on the upcoming Monday.## The third Sunday collections will take the entire box office collections of Brahmastra to over 253cr net box office mark in all languages. The film has also become the highest-grossing film of the year surpassing The Kashmir Files. Brahmastra has also become the second Hindi film post the pandemic to cross the 250cr net mark.## There are some experiments are being done with the ticket rates which will help the film to get some extra footfalls over the next week. Brahmastra which was a huge success till the last weekend has become a clean hit film now and post the pandemic the hits have become a rarity for the industry. After 'Brahmastra', Ticket Prices For 'Chup', And 'Avatar' Reduce To Rs. 100

Mumbai, September 25 - The makers of psychological crime thriller Chup have reduced the ticket prices of the film from Monday (September 26) along with James Cameron's Avatar re-release and R. Madhavan's Dhokha: Round D Corner. ## The aforementioned films will be available to purchase for Rs. 100-110 in most theaters. The makers haven't made the official announcement regarding reducing ticket prices of the film but it seems, the decision came after Brahmastra Part One: Shiva makers confirmed that the film can be watched in just Rs. 100+GST from Monday to Thursday. ## Reducing ticket prices could largely benefit "Chup", "Avatar", and "Brahmastra" as these films have found acceptance among the audience. It has been a long cry within the film industry that movie ticket prices should be kept low so that large audiences can afford them, and the latest development suggests the makers are finally looking for course correction. ## Director R. Balki's "Chup" has scored well in the first two days and earned 5.13 crores net. The opening day witnessed higher footfalls than the second day due to the National Cinema Day, on which ticket prices were made available for just Rs. 75. The reviews and word of mouth are positive for this film. ## On the other hand, the "Avatar" re-release has also scored well in the first two days with approx. 4.50 crores net. Brahmastra Makers Slashed Ticket Prices After Mega National Cinema Day Success

Mumbai, September 25 - Director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva got great benefit at the box office of India's first ever National Cinema Day on September 23. The ticket prices were kept as low as Rs. 75 on NCD, and as a result, the movie recorded occupancy of over 85% throughout the day in cinemas. ## Thanks to the Housefull boards all across the country, Brahmastra witnessed a jump of approx. 250% to score the biggest third Friday of all time in the Hindi language at the box office. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' Post-Theatrical Streaming And Satellite Rights Sold For Whopping Price

Mumbai, September 24 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for his big-budget action entertainer Jawan under the direction of Tamil director Atlee. While it is scheduled to release in June 2023, the movie is already catching the eyeballs of the audience due to its mass appeal. ## Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, "Jawan" is arguably one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies of 2023 and hence, it is already luring digital platforms. In fact, the makers have reportedly locked the post-theatrical streaming and satellite deals of the movie. ## According to Lets Cinema, Zee TV has bagged the satellite rights by Netflix fetched streaming deal of the movie. Mumbai, September 24 - Brahmastra is heading towards a good third Saturday of its box office run as the early estimate collection suggests 5.20cr net.## There was a fear that the film will lose momentum on Saturday as on national cinema day the film had consumed a huge chunk of the audience but that did not happen as the film has shown excellent hold on Saturday. Mumbai, September 24 - The first ever India's National Cinema Day turned out to be a money spinner for director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which scored the biggest ever third Friday of all time in Hindi languages. ## Thanks to the cheap ticket prices which were as low as Rs. 75 on National Cinema Day, "Brahmastra" registered an occupancy of over 85% for the day which helped to score 10.79 crores net for all languages. Salman Khan And Ali Abbas Zafar To Team Up For The 4th Time For A Big Scale Action Drama?

Mumbai, September 24 - Director Ali Abbas Zafar recently revealed in an interview that he has a script for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and he would soon approach for the same. Now, according to the latest reports, Salman Khan has liked the idea and has given his verbal nod to the filmmaker. ## The actor-director duo has collaborated on blockbuster films like Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat while their fourth collaboration is also said to be a big-scale action drama film. Mumbai, September 22 - Brahmastra is heading for another decent day at the box office on the second Thursday of its box office run as the early estimate suggests around 3.10cr net collections.## The second Thursday collections of Brahmastra will take the entire box office collections of the film to over 230cr net mark in all versions. Mumbai, 22 Sep 2022: For the first time ever, the Multiplex Association of India celebrates National Cinema Day on 23rd September 2022 and the response is phenomenal. For Brahmastra, it is coming on the 15th day of its release and still, it sold more than a million tickets already for the 3rd Friday. On National Cinema Day, more than 4000 screens have INR 75 ticket rates. ## Not only Brahmastra but other new releases are also selling a good amount of tickets. Chup has crossed 200K numbers for its first day. Together, Avatar re-release and Sita Ramam (Hindi) also crossed 100K numbers. ## With such a good response for Brahmastra, this movie is expected to break Baahubali 2 record for having the highest Hindi net collection for 3rd Friday of all time which is 10.05 cr as of now. Director Ayan Mukerji Reveals A Different Title Was Originally Planned For 'Brahmastra'

Mumbai, September 22 - It has been two weeks since director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva was released in theaters. The movie has been received very well by the audience and now, people are waiting for part two of the movie, titled "Dev". ## After watching the first part, fans are sharing their theories about what can happen in the second or third part and who can play the role of Dev and some other character. To discuss all these things, Ayan set down with one of the top comic book theorists of India i.e. Desi Nerd, super super, bnftv, PJ Explained, and Comic verse.## During their discussion about fans' theories, Ayan revealed that when he started writing the script, he had set the "Dragon" title for the movie. She said that the main character of the movie, Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) has the power of fire and that the Dragon title would suit the movie. ## The filmmaker further revealed that when he started to go deeper into the script, his inspiration started shifting from Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings to more towards Indian history, towards Indian culture. As he progressed through the script, Ayan revealed that Indian history and culture were mostly in him and a title related to our culture will suit more. ## Since Shiva's character is inspired by lord Shiva, Ayan revealed that he understood the beauty and power he stands for and the same happened with the concept of Astras, the concept of Brahmastra. Brahmastra Overtakes Its Previous Highest Single Day Tickets Count For Third Friday (National Cinema Day)

Mumbai, September 21 - Director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is taking full advantage of India's first ever National Cinema Day which falls on September 23. The fantasy action adventure movie is reporting Housefull shows all over the country, thanks to the cheap ticket prices which are as low as Rs. 75 on NCD for all movies. ## "Brahmastra", is particularly having a phenomenal response in the advance booking for its third Friday (15th day), and this resulted in, the movie having sold the highest number of tickets for a single day in its run so far.
