Rollins is stopped there and the match starts with Ricochet and Nakamura in the ring. Ricochet eats a kick from Nakamura in the face. Ricochet with a Dropkick for near fall. ## Nakamura takes Ricochet to the top of the ropes and comes off with a Running Knee for the cover, but Ricochet kicks out there. Ricochet recovers and plants a Moonsault for the cover and Nakamura a kick out. Nakamura sets up a German Suplex but misses. Ricochet instead comes off with a moonsault.## So much chaos in the match, that Ricochet hits a shooting star, but nothing affects Nakamuara, Ricochet with another move he lands a crossbody for near fall. Nakamura goes for the Kinshasa but Ricochet catches him with the enzuigiri. ## Now, the chair is getting involved, Nakamura gets the hand and goes after Ricochet, but he escapes and plants him with superkicks. They are still outside and Ricochet scaps everything when he hits Nakamura with the chair to the back...The referee calls for a bell. ## WINNER: Shinsuke Nakamura via DQ ## Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven ## The bell rings and the match starts off with Stark knocking her down. Green shows it up and comes with a dropkick. Zoey connects with a kick for the cover, but no win there. Niven with a bodyslam, meanwhile, we see Nia Jax come out there and attack Niven from Behind. Nia Jax goes for a Samoan drop on Stark followed by a senton. Now, she goes after Green, Baszler is there in the corner, but she is attacked by Jax and hits the annihilator. Reed is just showing his power by planting Gable on the mat. Gable with back-to-back forearms sends Reed to the ring. Gable goes to the top and performs a Dropkick. ## Reed with a Powerbomb and Gable looks hurt. Reed takes Gable in the corner plants chops and then springs him into the corner. Rollins says He's had enough of Nakamura's mind games and believes Nakamura is pushing him to a breaking point. Denver, 16 September - If I were to name one of the greatest duos of commentators, I would go with Pat McAfee and Michael Cole. Cole, without a doubt, is one of the most experienced commentators in WWE, and fans love having him on the show due to his incredible fashion of commentary. He has been with WWE for more than 25 years and has witnessed some of the greatest moments in the history of WWE. ## The duo of Pat McAfee and Cole got together on April 16, 2021, and the two were universally praised for their chemistry, with Cole stating that working with McAfee was the highlight of his week. ## However, the changes were inflicted when McAfee took a break to work for ESPN's College Gameday which allowed Cole to be joined by Barrett on commentary for SmackDown and for premium live events with Graves. ## Last night on SmackDown, Pat made his surprising return to add up a segment with The Rock and Austin Theory. After the show was finished, he spoke with Kayla Braxton about the surprise appearance. ## "He always has to be the buttoned up guy doing a play by play, which he's the greatest of all time, bar none. Denver, 16 September - Everything on the show last night drew big money for the company. It was electric last night. Fans may have watched some banger shows in the past months, but this was the first-ever live SmackDown here, and the crowd was nuts for it. ## One of the top reasons behind the crowd being nuts was The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, returning after almost 4 years. The major reaction from the crowd was absolutely genuine as there were no rumors of him making his return to WWE in this fashion. ## However, without being aware of The Rock's return to the city, the show did some huge numbers. Per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, last night's WWE Smackdown was the highest-grossing event in Denver history for WWE. ## For almost a year now, WWE's two flagship shows, Raw and SmackDown, have been clinching sold-out shows and continue to draw more immensely. Also, appearing on the show was John Cena as the special guest on "The Grayson Waller Effect." The crowd burst loud when AJ Styles saved John Cena from getting assaulted at the hands of Solo and Jimmy. Plus, LA Knight even scored with The Miz by defeating him cleanly in a singles action.
