Bray Wyatt Hall of Fame Induction Delayed, Documentary To Premiere On Peacock

BY SACNILK

Fans eager to see Bray Wyatt inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame will have to wait a little longer. While Wyatt was a popular choice for the 2024 class following his tragic passing in 2023, WWE has reportedly opted to delay his induction. ## This decision comes alongside the announcement of a new documentary chronicling the life of Windham Rotunda, the man behind the Bray Wyatt persona. The documentary is set to premiere on Peacock on April 1st. ## According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE's decision to focus on the documentary this year is a factor in delaying Wyatt's Hall of Fame induction. Meltzer suggests Wyatt's induction will likely come at a later date.## This year's Hall of Fame ceremony will still honor Wyatt's legacy, however. His father, Mike Rotunda, will be inducted alongside Barry Windham as part of their tag team, The US Express.## The 2024 Hall of Fame class also includes industry veteran Paul Heyman, Japanese wrestling legend Bull Nakano, pioneering African-American wrestler Thunderbolt Patterson, and the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

The Rock's Recent Use Of Edgier Language On WWE TV Has Stirred Up Controversy, Bringing Accusations Of Double Standards

BY SACNILK

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's recent return to WWE has sparked controversy over his use of language on television. While the company maintains a PG rating, The Rock's promos have featured profanity, leading to accusations of double standards. ## Fans of The Rock's earlier, more edgy character may enjoy his unfiltered promos. However, this clashes with the WWE's current content guidelines. The issue has reignited memories of the "Vince McMahon era," where certain stars were seemingly given free rein. ## Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests The Rock's influence, including his position on the Board of Directors, allows him to bend the rules. He's also backed by a team that deals with potential network censorship. This has caused resentment among other wrestlers who must strictly adhere to the PG guidelines. ## Despite The Rock's claims of network pushback, FOX reportedly receives his scripts beforehand for potential censorship during broadcasts. This targeted approach further fuels accusations of favoritism. ## The Rock's recent "Rock Concert" segment also drew criticism for exceeding its allotted time. While his writer denies it impacted other parts of the show, some believe it resulted in cuts elsewhere. ## The Rock's return has undeniably brought excitement, but the language controversy casts a shadow. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Goldberg: 'There Are Guyst That Go Off Script All The Time, I Was Probably One Of Them'

BY SACNILK

In the scripted world of professional wrestling, WWE strives for a tightly controlled narrative. However, wrestlers occasionally veer off course, creating unscripted moments that leave a lasting impression. ## Back in the day, wrestlers enjoyed more creative freedom, leading to frequent instances of improvisation. Today, with a more scripted approach, going off-script is a risky move. Wrestlers who deviate from the plan often face backstage heat or even punishment, unless they hold significant star power. ## Despite the potential consequences, several wrestlers have taken the chance in recent years, resulting in some memorable segments. ## Goldberg recently had an interview with Tim Green - Nothing Left Unsaid, and was asked if he has ever gone off the script. ## Yeah, well, there are guys that go off script all the time, I was probably one of them. I went off script because I couldn't remember it, not because I wanted to. And that happened a number of times with me. But there were a couple of guys along the way that weren't so happy about laying down for a guy that's been in the business for a short period of time. That comes with the territory, I understand it to a point. ## But at the end of the day, it is kind of fixed, right? So it's not like doing a true athletic competition where you're actually gonna lose. I guess kind of like Romo at the end of The Longest Yard, he didn't want to get run over by Adam Saddler, but it's a movie, right? It's a movie, it's not real. So, um, there were guys along the way, a couple of them, but they came to it in the end. But, you know, like again, you're going to have people that are in your corner or against you, wanting to see you succeed or wanting to see you fail, it's just life. ## Yeah, the guys who get to choose are the Vince McMahon's and the, um, who did I just, what was his name? Eric Bischoff, Eric Bischoff, I see, you know, even more than I do, yeah, Bischoff and Vince get to decide. At the end of the day, it's the most popular, it's whoever's gonna draw the most money, whether it's a good guy or a bad guy, it's all storyline-oriented and it's all fictitious and it's all in the direction they want to lead you.## But some guys can do it and some guys can't. I can't really put a finger on it, but I would go out there and wrestle like there was no one there. I'd go out and do my job and I'd try to do it to the best of my ability. And if people enjoy it, great. If they don't, I'm sorry because you can't please everybody. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Goldberg Unhappy About WWE 'Disrespecting' His Streak And Spear

BY SACNILK

Former WWE Universal Champion Bill Goldberg isn't shy about his frustrations with the company. In a recent interview with Nothing Left Unsaid, Goldberg took aim at WWE for what he perceives as disrespect towards his legacy. ## The most glaring issue for Goldberg seems to be Asuka's undefeated streak in NXT surpassing his own WCW record. Goldberg referred to Asuka dismissively as "some Japanese girl" and questioned the timing of her streak ending just as he returned to WWE in 2016. ## “A girl beat my winning streak… beat my undefeated streak. Yeah, I can’t even remember… ‘A-soo-ka’ is her name. Some Japanese girl. And they touted her as being the one to have the longest winning streak." ## Goldberg went further, implying WWE management, specifically Triple H (Paul Levesque), played a role in both Asuka's streak and the increased use of the Spear finisher by other wrestlers. Goldberg has a history of tension with Triple H, and blames their past for these perceived slights. ## "The fact that I didn’t get along with Paul Levesque (Triple H), which is Vince’s son-in-law, I think had everything to do with it." # Whether intentional or not, Goldberg's comments are sure to stir the pot. Fans can expect further discussion on the validity of Goldberg's claims and the working relationship between him and WWE. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

The quote "Have a nice flight in," allegedly uttered by AEW Young Bucks member Jack Perry, is said to have been the spark that ignited the incident. ## McIntyre's caption simply reads "Looking forward to seeing you in Chicago," adding fuel to the already fiery feud. This comes after McIntyre injured Punk at the Royal Rumble, derailing Punk's WrestleMania aspirations. ## McIntyre is currently focused on his own WrestleMania challenge, set to battle Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship on night two of WrestleMania 40. A video package showed the recent altercation between AJ Styles and LA Knight, with Knight getting arrested but ultimately released due to AJ's refusal to press charges. He applies the Silencer to Akam and follows up with a corner splash and an enzuigiri. Ford tags in, and Dawkins hoists Akam onto his shoulders. Akam escapes, and Ford attempts a maneuver but gets caught with a clothesline. Rezar tags in, and AOP executes their finisher, the Final Chapter. However, Dawkins breaks up the pin at the last second. AOP target Dawkins, sending him flying off the apron. Back in the ring, Ford capitalizes on the distraction, rolling Akam up for a surprising three count to secure the victory for The Street Profits. ## WINNER: Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford ## Paul Heyman hyped Cody Rhodes' arrival, then informed Roman Reigns the audience awaited him. Roman emerged from his car in the parking garage, with Paul directing him.## In the ring, Roman acknowledged keeping his promise to come alone (excluding Paul, who posed no physical threat). He urged Cody to join him, declaring it time for Cody to "acknowledge" him. We saw Cody approaching on the Tron, followed by another commercial break.## When Cody entered the ring, Roman reiterated he was alone and asked if Cody was the same. Cody countered, stating they both came solo. Roman mocked Cody for being a fool, unfit to be on top. He criticized Cody's alliance with Seth Rollins, questioning his loyalty given Seth's absence on Raw. Roman reminded Cody of their past brotherhood in The Shield, highlighting Seth's betrayal.## Cody challenged Roman's memory, reminding him that the Rhodes family was the first to defeat The Shield. He acknowledged the Bloodline being a family, not just a faction, then questioned whether he could trust Rollins. Cody turned the tables, asking Roman if he could trust his own Wrestlemania partner, The Rock. He pointed out the confusion within the Bloodline's leadership.## Roman smirked, dismissing Cody's comment as outdated. He mocked Cody's political tactics and questioned his ability to deliver on promises. Roman declared himself the number one, "forever," with respect to Cody being the greatest number two.## Cody countered, stating their shared industry upbringing and referencing legendary figures like Bruno, Flair, Hogan, Austin, Cena, and The Rock. He predicted future generations would aspire to be the next Roman Reigns, but Cody's destiny remained unclear. He declared himself the one to dethrone Roman at Wrestlemania, not a mere number two. Cody offered a handshake, which Roman refused.## Roman shook Paul's hand and started to leave, then changed his mind and called for his music. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso emerged from the crowd, joining Roman at ringside. Cody looked on as the reunited Bloodline stood together. Jey Uso and Seth Rollins were also spotted in the crowd. # Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...
