Bray Wyatt vs LA Knight will be a Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble. ## WWE is all set to do the first-ever Pitch Black Match at the 2023 Royal Rumble on January 28th in San Antonio. It was about a month when WrestlingNewsCo first reported the company’s plan to do a Pitch Black Match. ## WWE officially confirmed via a video posted on Twitter that the "Pitch Black Match" will be taking place at the 2023 Royal Rumble event. Dave Meltzer reports that WWE has scrapped Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch for Wrestlemania 39. ## Becky vs Ronda is the biggest women's match they could do, but all the plans have come off as of writing. Per Wrestling News Co, the plan is to now do Rousey vs Rhea Ripley for the Smackdown women's championship. Becky vs Ronda is the biggest women's match they could do. ## Meltzer said: ## Right now, [Lynch vs. Rousey] is not the plan.
