Bangalore, March 2 - Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran has come on board to distribute the upcoming Pan-India biggie, "KGF: Chapter 2" in Kerala. The makers of this Yash-fronted have started prepping for the big release of the film all over the world. ## On Wednesday (March 2), producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films took to Twitter and announced the collaboration with the Malayalam star, who will be distributing the film under his banner Prithviraj Productions. Mumbai, February 18 - One of the most awaited pan-India biggie KGF2 is becoming hotter with each passing day. The film is all set to explode in theatres from 14th April this year. It was a long wait for this biggie due to the pandemic as the film was postponed many times. ## Earlier it was speculated that big-budget movies like RRR, Pushpa, Adipurush, and several others will likely clash with KGF 2. Though these were proven wrong in due course of time, Laal Singh Chaddha was scheduled to release on the same date. However, on February 15, Aamir Khan Productions made the official announcement of the postponement of the release date. ## As per the current status, Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the lead is scheduled to release on the same day as KGF2 along with some low-budget regional movies.## Moreover, the Tamil movie "Beast" starring Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the lead is scheduled to release on the same day. Recently Beast's single, Arabic Kuthu was dropped by the makers that left fans of Thalapathy into a frenzy. Aamir Khan Productions, yesterday clarified that "Laal Singh Chaddha" will arrive on April 14, 2022, as scheduled contrary to the reports of its postponement. ## The release of "Laal Singh Chaddha" will meet the much-anticipated Pan-India biggie, Yash-starrer "KGF: Chapter 2", which was long ago announced for that date. And now, Thalapathy Vijay's keenly-awaited Tamil blockbuster "Beast" is also looking for the same window. ## Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, "Beast" hasn't set an exact release date, but it has been announced for April release. Industry sources have said that it will be released on April 14, thus confirming the blockbuster clash with KGF 2 and LSC at the box office.## However, if all three biggies decide to come out on the same date, it will be "KGF 2", which will be affected the most. Being a Pan-India film, the movie is carrying a lot of anticipation and eyeing to be a potential highest-grosser of the year. Mumbai, December 28 - The South Indian films are expanding their wings in the Hindi-speaking market and even edging ahead of most of the outright Bollywood titles. After testing the blockbuster success with "Baahubali" and "KGF", another South Indian film in the form of "Pushpa - The Rise" has emerged as a successful affair in Hindi. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" marks Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's maiden Pan-India outing, and he couldn't have asked for a bigger and better launch in other languages, especially in Hindi. The Sukumar-directed is having a consistent run at the Hindi box office, earning approx Rs. 39.66 crores in the first 11 days, despite the limited shows and tough competition with biggies, likes "83" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home". ## The action-thriller film has shown a tremendous hold at the Hindi box office over the 11 days and didn't drop a single sign of going to the back seat. Before the second week completes, "Pushpa - The Rise" should cross Yash-starrer Kannada film, "KGF: Chapter 1's" lifetime Hindi net total of Rs. 44.42 crores and emerge as the second biggest Hindi (dubbed) launch of a South India actor.## Prabhas's "Baahubali - The Beginning" (2015) is currently the highest-grossing debut Pan-India film in Hindi for a South Indian actor. This record, however, is likely to be shattered by the upcoming SS Rajamouli's "RRR", which is scheduled to release on January 7. ## "Pushpa - The Rise", meanwhile, is likely to continue its strong run before "RRR" arrives, and will aim to cross Rs. 50 crore (looks inevitable) lifetime Hindi total to emerge as a superhit outing.
