Mumbai, November 25 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently postponed the release date of his long-awaited comedy-drama film, "Laal Singh Chaddha" to April 14, 2022. The actor took this decision to give enough time to post-production work as he doesn't want to rush his work. ## "Laal Singh Chaddha" is a big-budget film and the makers don't want to compromise on quality. The postponement of the film, however, has confirmed a big box office clash with Yash-starrer "KGF: Chapter 2", which opens on the same date. KGF 2 is a pan India film and carries an unpreceded hype in every language. ## Aamir Kha, however, explained why he chooses April 14 release date for his film and also expressed his regret for clashing with KGF 2. "There are two ways of doing the visual effects — you can do a rush job or you can go for quality work. I didn’t want a rush job, hence I preferred to postpone the film". (according to box office worldwide).## "Ideally, I would never take a date which has already been finalized by the producer of another big film. I hate to give the impression that I am trespassing on someone else's territory, but since I am playing a Sikh for the first time in my career, the Baisakhi day seemed to be the most appropriate for the release of Laal Singh Chaddha", he added.## The actor revealed that he wrote the KGF team and explained his situation and also apologized. Before I finalized the date, I profusely apologized to the producer (Vijay Kiragandur), director (Prashanth Neel), and lead man (Yash) of KGF2. I told them how the lockdown had made matters difficult for all producers. I also explained that a Baisakhi release for my film would be ideal. They understood my viewpoint and were good enough to ask me to go ahead in spite of their film releasing on the same day".## He further added, "I had a long heart-to-heart conversation with Yash who was very supportive of my plan. I also told him that since he was an action film whereas mine was a family film as it was a love story, the two films would hopefully not eat into each other's collections. I also volunteered to promote his film. Mumbai, July 28, 2021: The covid-19 pandemic is continuing to disturb the release schedule of Indian films. If there was no covid-19 second wave, some of the big stars' movies would have been released by now including KGF: Chapter 2, Bell Bottom, Sooryavanshi, Radhe Shyam, among others. ## However, as the situation is improving day by day, some of the films are gearing up for release in theaters. Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom was announced for July 28 release (today), and now, it will reportadly be releasing on August 19 in 3D. Meanwhile, Yash starrer highly awaited, KGF: Chapter 2 is now eyeing December 2021 release, for which, the official announcement will be made soon. ## After July 16 release was wiped out due to the closer of cinemas, KGF 2 was said to be releasing on September 9. Bangalore, June 1, 2021: Kannada film superstar, Yash has come forward to help the industry workers in a time of crisis. The KGF star has decided to donate a sum of Rs. 1.50 crores to the workers of the Kannada film industry, who become jobless as there is no shoot due to the lockdown. ## As a great gesture, Yash will be donating a sum of Rs. 5000 to each of the 3000 industry workers in their personal bank accounts. After a long forced break due to the covid-19 pandemic, it was around a month ago that the team of the magnum opus KGF: Chapter 2 resumed shooting in a studio in Bengaluru with most of the primary cast members.## The team has now set sail for a pivotal schedule that will be shot in Mangaluru. This schedule sees Yash as well as his leading lady Srinidhi Shetty resume shooting for the film after a break of nearly eight months due to the pandemic.## The Rocky Bhai aka Yash took to Twitter to announce his return on the sets of KGF: Chapter 2 - "Waves can't be stopped but you can learn to sail.. The sequel has only gotten bigger with actors from across different film industries joining the ensemble cast, with the biggest additions being Sanjay Dutt as Adheera and Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen in the cast. Another big addition is Prakash Raj.## The film is being produced by Vijay Kirugandur and Karthik Gowda under the banner Hombale Films, it will be released in Kannada along with Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages. ## The film was originally slated to release in October, but the pandemic has delayed forced the makers to decide against it. After the success of KGF: Chapter 1, fans are eagerly waiting for its highly acclaimed sequel which is scheduled to release on 23rd October during Dussehra weekend. Read more... #### From the past some days, there have been rumors that the Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep was the original choice to play the lead antagonist role of Adheera in the sequel which is now being helmed by Sanjay Dutt. ## However, the Sandalwood star has rubbished such rumors and said that he was never approached by the makers to play the role of Adheera and he is glad that this role is being played by none other than Sanjay Dutt who, Sudeep thinks, is the best choice for the role. ## As per a report from ibtimes, Kichcha Sudeep was quoted saying in an interview, "I was only approached with an invite to watch the film when KGF: Chapter 1 was complete. I am only happy that Sanjay Dutt sir is doing the film KGF: Chapter 2, as I wouldn’t have done what he is capable of".## In KGF: Chapter 2, apart from Yash and Sanjay Dutt, we will also get to see South actress Srinidhi Shetty who also played a pivotal role in Chapter 1 and Bollywood diva Raveena Tandon in the key roles. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kirugandur's Hombale Films, KFG: Chapter 2 is a multilingual film that will release in the theaters in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages.## Talking more about the period action thriller, more or less nearly 80% shoot has been completed while the remaining shoot will resume post lockdown.
