Brahmastra Overtakes Its Previous Highest Single Day Tickets Count For Third Friday (National Cinema Day)

Mumbai, September 21 - Director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is taking full advantage of India's first ever National Cinema Day which falls on September 23. The fantasy action adventure movie is reporting Housefull shows all over the country, thanks to the cheap ticket prices which are as low as Rs. 75 on NCD for all movies. ## "Brahmastra", is particularly having a phenomenal response in the advance booking for its third Friday (15th day), and this resulted in, the movie having sold the highest number of tickets for a single day in its run so far. As of now, "Brahmastra" has sold 7.78 lakh tickets, and this number is most likely to touch a magnificent 1 million. ## #Brahmastra Highest Advance Tickets Sold Day✅Day 15: 778506 *🔥🔥✅Day 3: 746698Day 2: 632978Day 1: 599068— Sacnilk Entertainment (@SacnilkEntmt) September 21, 2022 ## The ticket count for "Brahmastra" on its third Friday is the highest of all time for any film on the third Friday. The gross collection of the movie, however, is 6.78 crores so far for National Cinema Day but the makers would be happy to see massive footfalls in cinemas. ## Taking the advance ticket count of "Brahmastra" for all days, it has sold over 4 million tickets in advance booking only. Brahmastra Second Wednesday Early Estimates

Mumbai, September 21 - Brahmastra is moving ahead with a decent run at the box office over the weekdays. Continuing that trend, the movie scored an estimated 3.25-3.50 crores net on its second Wednesday. The drop from yesterday is approx 15% which can be called decent but a lesser drop could have made it an excellent hold.## The second Wednesday collections will push the entire box office collections of Brahmastra to over 227cr net box office mark in all versions. The lifetime business of the film is sure to cross the 250cr mark in all versions making it the highest-grossing Hindi film post the pandemic.## There is a huge national cinema day celebration on the third Friday where all the multiplexes have reduced the cost of the ticket to as cheap as 75Rs which will attract a humongous crowd which is already there to be seen in the advance of third Friday but the collections might not look as huge due to cheaper rates. Also due to cheaper rates on the third Friday, most of the weekend audience of Brahmastra will try to watch the film on the third Friday only eating the potential weekend business.## The benefit of low rates that Brahmastra will get is that it will reach more audience which will help the next parts of the film. Eventually, the popularity and success of a film are measured through the number of people watching and liking the film.## Stay tuned...

A Perfect Opportunity For Director R. Balki To Score A Hit With Psychological Thriller 'Chup'

Mumbai, September 21 - Director R. Balki's next directorial Chup: Revenge of the Artist is creating curiosity among the audience, thanks to the very good trailer and special screenings for the fans. The psychological thriller stars Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Pooja Bhatt in leading roles. ## "Chup" received rave reviews from the audience screenings, which were held across the country on September 20 where it has been hailed as one of the best thrillers from Bollywood. The buzz for it is picking up, in fact, it is one of the most talked about mid-budget Bollywood films post-pandemic. On top of that, it will release on September 23, which happens to be National Cinema Day. ## On India's first ever National Cinema Day, ticket prices have been reduced to as low as Rs. 75 for all the movies on over 4000 theater screens across the country. The positive impact of keeping the prices low is already being seen as the advance booking for most of the films, including "Chup" is super strong on September 23. ## The National Cinema Day has come as a big opportunity for the mid-size Bollywood films that have been struggling to attract footfall in cinemas. For "Chup" things are looking way better than all other mid-size Bollywood films post-pandemic. The movie has so far sold over 72,000 tickets worth Rs. 63 lakh for the first day, and this number is expected to reach around 2,00,000 by the time the first show starts.## The opening of "Chup" will be decent considering the low ticket prices but if it gets further good reviews on day 1, which is expected after knowing the reactions from the audience screening, then the movie could have a good run and actually score a rare mid-size Bollywood hit at the box office. ## Director Balki is looking super confident and we have seen a glimpse of that in the free preview shows. The same strategy was approached by Adivi Sesh for his "Major" and the movie turned out to be a big success at the box office. "Chup" is very much on track to repeat "Major's" magic, and if it becomes a hit, then it will do a lot of good things to the upcoming mid-range films. ## Stay tuned...

Brahmastra Second Tuesday Early Estimates

Mumbai, September 20 - Brahmastra is holding very well on the second Tuesday of its box office run as the early estimates suggest around 4-4.50 crores net collections. The drop from Monday is around 10% only. ## The second Tuesday collections will take the entire box office collections of Brahmastra to over 224cr net mark in all versions. The film will comfortably cross the 250cr mark by the end of its box office run which will make it the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.## The third Friday will be very important for the film as the day coincide with the national cinema day celebration which will be held on the 23rd of September and the ticket rates will be going as cheap as 75Rs only. The business will be down but the footfalls are going to be massive which is always a plus thing to have.## Overall Brahmastra can be called a big success for the Industry as it is coming after a series of disasters and after a huge social-media negativity. The film is not liked universally but the target audience has liked the film and that has been reflected in the numbers.## Stay tuned...

Brahmastra Second Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, September 19 - Brahmastra is heading for a good second Monday collection as the early estimates suggest a 4.50-5 crores net collection. There is a huge drop from Sunday but that was always likely though over 5cr Monday would have been a lot better. Nevertheless, The film has done its job during the first two weekends and scored huge collections considering post-pandemic times.## The second Monday collections will take the entire box office collections of Brahmastra to over 220cr mark depending on the final second Monday collections in all versions. The film is likely to cross the 250cr mark from here on which will make it the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year beating The Kashmir Files.## Brahmastra will be the second highest grosser ever of Ranbir Kapoor on both a domestic and worldwide basis after Sanju. For Alia Bhatt, It is her biggest grosser ever in domestic and worldwide, and that too by a huge margin. Overall Brahmastra will be among one of the biggest worldwide grosser ever from the Hindi film industry when the run of the film ends.## The good thing for Brahmastra is that it still has a free run for another week. The open run of three weeks has made the difference between a 200cr and a 250cr lifetime total. The film has given the Hindi film industry a much-needed boost after a series of disasters even after huge social-media negativity but the film once again proved that as long as the content is liked by the audience it doesn't get affected by any other thing.## Stay tuned...
