SS Rajamouli Reveals Why He Didn't Direct Pawan Kalyan In Any Film
Hyderabad, October 31 - SS Rajamouli, who has been busy promoting his upcoming directorial, the magnum opus "RRR", which is the first film since Baahubali 2. During the media interaction recently, the Baahubali filmmaker had spoken elaborately on all the questions asked by his fans and the media. ## Having worked with some of the biggest Telugu actors over the years, SS Rajamouli was asked one of the fans why he never directed Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Considering the fact that Pawan Kalyan is one of the biggest stars in the south film industry, Rajamouli was quizzed about directing Telugu's 'Powerstar'.## "I really love Pawan Kalyan", said Rajamouli and went on to explain why things failed to materialize and how both went their ways to attain their own interests.## "In the initial times in my career, I tried my best to come up with a story for Pawan Kalyan. I always had that intent to direct him. We even had short conversations, where I had mentioned about us working together", the 'Baahubali' director said.## "Later, I decided that I need to come out of my comfort zone and start making movies, which give much more than just a mass-masala entertainer does. At that point in time, Pawan got busy with his political interests. Hence, our paths diverged," Rajamouli explained.## Meanwhile, Rajamouli's "RRR" is a period action drama film, starring Jr. NTR, Ram Charan in the leading roles along with Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. It is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.## RRR is produced by D. V. V. Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainments. The big-budget visual extravaganza will be hitting theaters worldwide on January 7, 2022, in Telugu along with Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and other Indian and foreign languages.## Stay tuned...
