Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Creates A New Record At The North American Box Office

Mumbai, September 15 - It's more glory to Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan as he is about to script history at the North American box office.## After the all-time blockbuster success of "Pathaan", superstar Shah Rukh Khan is witnessing the same phenomenon with his latest blockbuster "Jawan". Directed by Atlee Kumar, the action thriller movie is running riot at the box office, be it domestically or overseas.## "Jawan", on its second Friday (today), will cross the $10 million mark at the US box office. This will make Shah Rukh Khan the only Indian actor to have two films to hit the $10 million mark in this region in the same year. Earlier, the actor's "Pathaan" did the same and grossed $17.25 million in its full run. Currently, the movie stands at $9.7 million through Thursday.## There have been only seven Indian films to cross the double-digit million-dollar mark in North America, and five of them are Bollywood movies. Box Office: Jawan Crosses Gadar 2 And Tops 700 Crores Worldwide

Mumbai, September 15 - The record-breaking spree of mega-blockbuster Jawan continued on its 8th day at the global box office. The movie scored another 36.50+ crores gross worldwide on its second Thursday, which soared its total cume to 696.50 crores, making it the second highest-grossing Indian movie of the year.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" topped the "Gadar 2's" 676 crores gross collection as the second biggest Indian movie of 2023. The Sunny Deol-fronted movie, however, is still running in theatres but it is in no way going to catch the current top two grosser.## Domestically, "Jawan" has minted 469 crores gross collection (390 crores net) through the second Thursday while overseas collection reached approximately 227.50 crores. It is currently the second highest-grossing Indian movie overseas of 2023, behind "Pathaan" which scored approx. 397 crores while its worldwide gross stands at 1055+ crores. ## "Jawan" has topped 700 crores gross in the first shows on the second Friday and becomes the fastest Bollywood movie ever to achieve this milestone in terms of time taken. "Pathaan" has also taken 9 days to win this box office mark. With this, "Jawan" has become the 10th Indian and 6th Bollywood movie to top 700 crores worldwide.## Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the overseas collection of "Jawan" is hugely benefitted from North America where it is nearing the $10 million mark. The studio is now gearing up for its next phase of theatrical tentpole as well as streaming titles.## It is known to everyone that YRF is working on a four-part thriller web series, titled "The Railway Men". Box Office: Jawan Second Thursday Early Estimates

Mumbai, September 14 - Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster Jawan has a fantastic extended first week at the domestic box office. The movie has already beaten SRK's own blockbuster Pathaan to score the biggest first week ever for a Bollywood as well as a Hindi movie.## The action thriller, on its second Thursday, scored an estimated 18 crores net collection in Hindi which takes its total cume to around 345 crores in 8 days. Additionally, it minted an estimated 1.50 crores in Tamil and Telugu versions for all India 19.50 crores second Thursday.## Jawan witnessed a drop of around 15% today which is a good hold as overall collections are huge. The total all-India net collection is over 387 crores in the extended 8-day week and tomorrow, on its second Friday, Jawan will hit the 400 crores mark in all versions.## There is no competition for Jawan in the second weekend which should help it to score 75+ crores net. The collection remains over 20 crores net in Hindi which is a fantastic hold, in its bid to become the 3rd Bollywood movie to top 500 crores lifetime Hindi net.## The day-wise trending of Jawan is better than SRK's last blockbuster Pathaan as collections on the first Monday and Tuesday are higher than the later one. The movie literally broke the hell to score an explosive 68.72 crore net collection. ## The previous biggest single-day collection also belonged to SRK when his all-time blockbuster "Pathaan" scored 68 crores net on its second day, on Republic Day 2024. In just three days, the action thriller has crossed the 300 mark and is nearing 400 crores at the worldwide box office.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" has scored approximately 384 crores worldwide in three days, and with this, it has become the director's highest-grossing movie of all time. It has surpassed Thalapathy Vijay's "Bigil" lifetime worldwide collection of around 300 crores to become Atlee's biggest grosser ever.## Interestingly, "Jawan" is the maiden Bollywood venture for the Tamil filmmaker and also his first movie with the superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Box Office: Jawan Third Day Early Estimates; Another Excellent Day

Mumbai, September 9 - Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has an explosive first Saturday at the domestic box office with collection nearing the first day total. The movie witnessing a jump of around 40% which is phenomenal as second-day numbers were itself huge.## According to the early estimates, Jawan is eyeing 66 crores net collection in Hindi on its third day. The final collection might vary a little bit here and there depending on the hold in smaller centres. Box Office: Jawan Second Day Early Estimates; Fantastic Hold

Mumbai, September 8 - After the record-breaking opening day, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan put up a fantastic hold on its second day which was actually a working day. The first day was a partial holiday due to Krishna Janmashtami which pushed the collection to some extra crores. ## The movie scored a drop on the morning shows on the second day/first Friday but picked up excellently in the evening and night shows as it is looking at, at least 47 crores net collection in Hindi depending on the size of drop in the smaller centers.## Jawan also hold well in Tamil and Telugu versions as estimates suggest 5-6 crores net for all-India 53+ crores net second day. The overall drop today is around 25-30% from the opening day which is a fantastic hold. The total collection of the movie reached around 128 crores net, including at least 112.50 crores in Hindi in two days.## The advance booking for Saturday/third day is huge and the third day collection could be around 65 crores net again in all versions before Sunday pushes collection further.
