Dhurandhar The Revenge TV Premiere Gets 45-50 CBFC Cuts as U/A 16+ Version Becomes 10 Minutes Shorter

Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar The Revenge is heading for its television premiere, but viewers will see a significantly edited version of the action film. According to an exclusive report by Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has ordered around 45 to 50 cuts and modifications to prepare the film for television broadcast. The revised version has been cleared with a U/A 16+ certificate, replacing the A-rated version that was released in theatres. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the makers had to approach the CBFC again since the original theatrical version carried an A certificate and could not be aired on television in the same form. A trade source quoted in the report revealed that the examining committee asked for approximately 45 to 50 changes, with most of the modifications reportedly involving scenes containing violence and gore. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Despite the sizeable number of changes, the report states that the violent portions were trimmed in a way that attempts to retain the impact of the scenes rather than removing them entirely. The modified television version was eventually passed by the CBFC on September 24, 2026. It has a certified runtime of 219 minutes and 6 seconds, translating to 3 hours, 39 minutes and 6 seconds. That makes the television version exactly 10 minutes shorter than the theatrical cut, which ran for 3 hours, 49 minutes and 6 seconds. The difference gives a clearer indication of how much footage has been trimmed across the reported 45-50 modifications. Rather than one major sequence being removed, the changes appear to be spread across several portions of the film, particularly its more graphic moments. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Dhurandhar The Revenge is scheduled to have its television premiere on Star Gold on Sunday, October 18 at 7:00 PM. With the theatrical version known for its intense action and violence, the U/A 16+ television cut will offer viewers a noticeably shorter and more broadcast-friendly version of the film while retaining its core narrative.

Hanuman Ansh Box Office Day 54: ₹3.10 Cr Net Sets 8th Tuesday Record, Can It Beat Border 2 By 9th Weekend to Become 2026's No. 2 Hindi Grosser?

Eight weeks into its theatrical run, Hanuman Ansh is still behaving like a film with plenty left in the tank. The Hindi devotional drama on Neem Karoli Baba, written, directed and produced by Vishal Chaturvedi and starring Shobhinaw Satyaa, has reached Day 54 with its box office momentum still very much alive. Its journey has gradually shifted from that of a modest release to a genuine long-run box office story, with each passing week adding another chapter to an already unusual theatrical performance. The eighth Tuesday delivered another bounce. On Day 54, Hanuman Ansh collected ₹3.10 Cr net across 4,411 shows, a 37.8% surge over Monday's ₹2.25 Cr. The India gross now stands at ₹369.00 Cr and the India net at ₹312.38 Cr. Add ₹39.00 Cr from overseas, and the worldwide gross has reached ₹408.00 Cr, which means the film has crossed ₹400 Cr globally. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Day 54: ₹3.10 Cr Net, Up 37.8% From Monday Monday (Day 53) brought in ₹2.25 Cr net. Tuesday came in at ₹3.10 Cr, an extra ₹0.85 Cr in a single day and a rise of 37.8%. Tuesday bounces are nothing new for this film, as Day 47 also rose 18.1% over its Monday, but this one is far sharper. Lower ticket prices at many multiplexes on Tuesdays are likely helping, and the crowd did turn up, with overall occupancy climbing from 17.24% on Monday to 29.11%. The Tuesday-to-Tuesday comparison is even more telling. Last Tuesday (Day 47), Sacnilk reported ₹4.90 Cr net from 7,702 shows. This Tuesday's ₹3.10 Cr came from 4,411 shows, about 43% fewer, which means each show earned roughly 10% more than it did a week ago (around ₹7,000 per show against ₹6,400). The film is losing screens faster than it is losing audiences. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Hindi Occupancy: Night Shows Nearly Double to 43.69% The Hindi 2D version recorded an overall occupancy of 29.11% on Tuesday, up 11.87 points from Monday's 17.24%. Every show slot improved, but the evening and night shows did the heavy lifting. Night occupancy went from 22.08% to 43.69%, nearly doubling, while evening shows rose from 20.62% to 33.85%. Even the weak morning slot moved up from 7.00% to 10.31%. Regional Spotlight: Jaipur Hits 54.5%, NCR Jumps 22 Points The Tuesday lift was felt in every major market. Jaipur led the country at 54.5% occupancy, up from 16.0% on Monday, with night shows there touching 77.0%. The National Capital Region (NCR), the biggest market with 655 shows, rose 22.5 points to 36.8%, while Bengaluru (32.0%), Lucknow (30.5%) and Mumbai (28.0%) all crossed 25%. Surat had the biggest turnaround among the weaker centres, moving from 5.3% to 18.5% on the back of a 45.0% night slot, though its morning shows stayed at just 3.0%. Pune, at 18.8%, was the softest of the major markets. REGION DAY 53 SHOWS DAY 54 SHOWS DAY 53 OCC. DAY 54 OCC. This is the milestone that matters most now. Border 2, the big-budget war drama led by Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, finished its run at ₹329.43 Cr net, making it the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2026 behind Dhurandhar 2. Hanuman Ansh stands at ₹312.38 Cr net, about 95% of the way there, and needs roughly ₹17 Cr more to overtake it. The two films sit at opposite ends of the scale. Border 2 had the budget and the star cast. Hanuman Ansh had a devotional story, a first-time cast and word of mouth. Getting past Border 2 would make it the second-biggest Hindi earner of the year, and that would be the biggest milestone of its run so far. With October 2 falling on a holiday and leading directly into the ninth weekend, Hanuman Ansh now has an important window to reach the milestone earlier than its current weekday pace might suggest. The holiday boost followed by Saturday and Sunday could give the film three stronger days in succession, making the ninth weekend a realistic period for the milestone to be achieved. The major variable will be screen retention, especially with Drishyam 3: The Conclusion arriving on October 2 and competing for shows. If Hanuman Ansh retains enough screens and continues to show strong per-show demand, the weekend could provide the push it needs; a sharper reduction in shows could instead carry the chase into the following weekdays. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Milestones Reached on Day 54 #1 Highest 8th Tuesday Collection on Record Its ₹3.10 Cr net on the eighth Tuesday sets the mark for the highest 8th Tuesday collection. #2 Crosses ₹400 Crore Worldwide With a worldwide gross of ₹408.00 Cr, Hanuman Ansh has crossed the ₹400 Cr mark globally. Drishyam 3 Advance Booking: Over ₹12 Cr Day 1 Sales (With Block Seats), Opening Could Be 160-225% Bigger Than Drishyam 2

It has been a long wait for the family that started it all in 2015. Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, billed as the final chapter of the Hindi franchise and directed once again by Abhishek Pathak. The film arrives in theatres on Friday, 2 October, which is Gandhi Jayanti, so a national holiday hands it a full long weekend. Its predecessor Drishyam 2 went on to earn about ₹345 Cr worldwide, and the buzz around the finale has been building ever since the trailer dropped. With two days to go, the opening day is already looking strong. As of 9:00 AM IST on 30 September, release day (Friday, 2 October) has collected ₹12.94 Cr in advance gross across India (₹10.47 Cr without block seats) from 3.42 lakh tickets at 8,911 shows, and all of it is coming from the Hindi version. On BookMyShow the film has crossed 2 lakh tickets in pre-sales, which pushes it into the platform's pre-sales top 10 at the two-day mark. Day 1 Advance Booking Snapshot (As of 9:00 AM IST, 30 Sep) DAY 1 GROSS (WITH BLOCK SEATS) ₹12.94 Cr DAY 1 GROSS (WITHOUT BLOCK SEATS) ₹10.47 Cr DAY 1 TICKETS SOLD 3.42 Lakh DAY 1 SHOWS · OCCUPANCY 8,911 · 16% (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Day 1 Advance: ₹12.94 Cr Gross Two Days Before Release The opening day is already past the ₹12 Cr mark in advance gross, and it is still two mornings away from showtime. The 3.42 lakh tickets sold work out to roughly 38 tickets per show across 8,911 shows. Occupancy is at 16% for now, but that figure is only a partial picture, since walk-in and last-minute bookings usually lift it sharply closer to release. Block seats, which are bulk bookings made by organisers and groups, make up about ₹2.47 Cr, or nearly 19%, of the Day 1 gross, and the rest is regular ticket sales. BookMyShow: Enters the Top 10 Pre-Sales List at No. 7 On BookMyShow, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has sold 203.04K tickets in pre-sales two days before release. That is enough for the 7th spot among Hindi films at the same stage, ahead of Dunki (201K), War 2 (147K) and Fighter (123K), and just behind Stree 2 (232K). The chart is topped by Dhurandhar 2 (1.1M), Jawan (816K), Animal (494K), Tiger 3 (357K) and Chhaava (320K). Pre-sales stayed steady between 27 and 28 September, then jumped by about 52% on 29 September, which turned out to be the biggest single day of booking so far with 86.24K tickets, or roughly 42% of the total BMS count. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) National Chains: Over 2 Lakh Tickets at PVR INOX Cinepolis The multiplex circuit is pulling its weight as well. As of 9:30 AM on 30 September, the national chains, PVR, INOX and Cinepolis (PIC), have sold over 2 lakh tickets for the film in pre-sales. Since chain shows are also sold through BookMyShow, these two counts overlap and should not be added together. 2,03,040 BookMyShow(2 days before release) 2,00,000+ PVR INOX Cinepolis(as of 30 Sep, 9:30 AM) Where This Could Land on Day 1 Trade expectations around the film are already running high, with the current advance booking trend pointing towards a potentially massive opening. Day 1 advance sales have climbed from roughly ₹9 Cr in the previous day's tracking to ₹12.94 Cr, and the final 24-36 hours before a major release typically become crucial for booking momentum. If the current pace continues, Day 1 advance booking could finish somewhere around ₹22-26 Cr gross, including block seats, by the time shows begin. With holiday Friday walk-ins adding to the advance sales, an India net opening in the ₹40-50 Cr range appears within reach, while an exceptional final-day surge could potentially take the opening closer to the ₹55 Cr mark. These remain projections based on the current booking trend, and the final numbers will depend on how strongly sales accelerate before release. All of it comes from the Hindi version. 2. How many Drishyam 3 tickets have been sold on BookMyShow? The film has sold 203.04K tickets on BookMyShow in pre-sales two days before release, including 86.24K booked on 29 September alone. That puts it at No. 7 on the Hindi pre-sales list at this stage. 3. How many tickets have PVR, INOX and Cinepolis sold for Drishyam 3? The three national chains together have sold over 2 lakh tickets as of 9:30 AM on 30 September. This count overlaps with BookMyShow's, as chain shows are also sold on the platform. 4. What is the expected opening day collection of Drishyam 3? Trade tracker Sacnilk expects an opening of over ₹40 crore net, while other trade estimates go as high as ₹50-60 crore. Ramayana BTS Unveiled on Ranbir Kapoor's Birthday, Reveals His Transformation Into Lord Rama

Mumbai, September 28 - The makers of Ramayana have offered audiences a new look behind the making of the highly anticipated epic. On September 28, 2026, coinciding with Ranbir Kapoor's 44th birthday, the team released a special behind-the-scenes video centred on the actor's journey and transformation into Lord Rama. The footage arrives as the film moves closer to its theatrical release and gives viewers a rare look at what went into bringing the character to the big screen. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) From Preparation to the Sets of Ramayana The BTS footage, titled This is our Rama, goes beyond Ranbir's finished appearance as Rama and highlights the preparation behind it. It features glimpses of the actor undergoing physical training and working through different stages of the production, while also showing how scenes were filmed before receiving their final visual treatment. Several moments involving blue-screen environments offer a particularly interesting contrast between what was captured on set and the massive world being created for the film. The new video also puts the scale of director Nitesh Tiwari's production into perspective. Ramayana has been conceived as a two-part cinematic saga, with Namit Malhotra and Yash serving as producers. Visual effects company DNEG is involved in bringing the film's expansive environments and mythological world to life, making the technical side of the production one of its major attractions. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Ranbir Kapoor Takes Centre Stage as Rama Ranbir Kapoor leads the film as Rama, while Sai Pallavi plays Sita, Yash portrays Ravana, Ravie Dubey plays Lakshmana and Sunny Deol appears as Hanuman. The birthday BTS is primarily focused on Ranbir, giving audiences a closer look at the physical and technical work surrounding his portrayal ahead of the film's arrival in theatres. The BTS release also adds to a steady stream of Ramayana promotional material in recent weeks. New character posters have already brought the principal characters back into focus, while the team recently appeared together at a promotional event in Mumbai. With the latest behind-the-scenes video now revealing another side of the production, the campaign is increasingly shifting attention toward the film's scale, performances and filmmaking process ahead of Ramayana: Part One’s Diwali 2026 release, with Part Two planned for Diwali 2027.

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion Tops 10 Crore In Pre-Sales As Opening Day Buzz Soars

Mumbai, September 28 - Ajay Devgn-fronted Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is showing excellent momentum at the Indian box office even before its theatrical release. The film has crossed the 10 crore gross mark in advance sales for its first two days, signalling strong audience interest and putting it on course for a potentially huge domestic opening. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Opening Day Advance Sales Cross 6.50 Crore Of the overall pre-sales recorded for the first two days, around 6.50 crore gross has already come from opening-day bookings alone (including block seats). The pace of ticket sales remains particularly strong, with bookings continuing to pick up as the film moves closer to release. The booking trajectory is an encouraging sign for the film's Day 1 prospects. Strong pre-sales, combined with the franchise value of Drishyam, are expected to translate into substantial spot bookings and walk-in audiences on the opening day. The final hours before release will now be crucial in determining just how high the advance booking can climb. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Advance Booking Trend Puts Huge Opening Within Reach The strong pre-release response has pushed opening-day expectations significantly higher. Trade is currently expecting the film to comfortably target a 40 crore+ net opening in India, provided the booking momentum translates into equally strong occupancy and spot bookings on release day. However, the current trajectory has also brought the 50 crore net opening mark into the picture. If advance sales maintain their pace and the film receives strong walk-in business throughout Day 1, Drishyam 3 could potentially cross 50 crore net in India on its opening day. With 10 crore+ in advance sales already recorded for the first two days, including 6.50 crore gross for Day 1, Drishyam 3 has established a strong foundation ahead of release. The final phase of booking will now determine how much higher the film can go before release day, but the early signs point towards a massive domestic box office start.

The Paradise Creates New Box Office Record for Nani as The Vvaan and Endgame Encore Find Audiences

Mumbai, September 28 - The final weekend of September saw strong activity at the Indian box office, led by Nani's The Paradise, followed by The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest and Avengers: Endgame Encore. While The Paradise remained the biggest film of the frame and reached a new career milestone for Nani, The Vvaan showed encouraging growth across its opening weekend. Meanwhile, the return of Avengers: Endgame also found a sizeable audience despite the film being widely available since its original 2019 release. The Paradise Sets a New Nani Benchmark Nani's The Paradise dominated the weekend with approximately 109 crore gross domestically over its extended opening frame, while also reaching a major career milestone for its leading man. The Srikanth Odela directorial has moved ahead of Nani's previous biggest India grossers, becoming the actor's first 100 crore domestic grosser. It has also become Nani's biggest worldwide grosser, beating HIT. The achievement came despite the film witnessing declines after its huge initial start amid mixed word of mouth, making its weekday hold the next important test. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) The Vvaan Grows Through the Weekend In second place, Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia's The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest accumulated 33.60 crore net over its opening weekend. The film opened at 8 crore on Friday before climbing to 11.25 crore on Saturday and 14.35 crore on Sunday. That puts its Sunday collection nearly 79% above its opening day, giving the film encouraging momentum before its first Monday. The weekday trend will now determine whether that weekend growth can translate into a sustained theatrical run. Avengers Endgame Encore Finds an Audience Again Avengers: Endgame Encore secured third place with approximately 27 crore gross over its first three days, an impressive return for a film originally released more than seven years ago. The performance once again highlights the blockbuster's enduring theatrical appeal in India, particularly as the re-release was competing directly against several fresh titles. Close behind was Hanuman Ansh, which collected 18.85 crore in its eighth weekend, while Meesaya Murukku 2 completed the top five with 13.95 crore during its opening weekend. With the weekend now complete, attention turns to Monday as all five films enter their next box-office test. Ramayana Eyes Pathbreaking November 5 Worldwide Release as Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Plans Extended Diwali Box Office Run

The makers of Ramayana are reportedly considering another major change to the film's release strategy. According to an exclusive report by Bollywood Hungama, the Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi starrer is now being planned for a worldwide theatrical release on Thursday, November 5, 2026, with India and overseas markets opening on the same day. The report states that stakeholders are more or less aligned with the proposed date, although final approval is still awaited. If the plan goes through, an official announcement from the makers is expected to follow. Ramayana Release Date Plans Change Again The November 5 plan marks another shift in the release strategy. Bollywood Hungama had earlier reported that Ramayana would release on November 6. Producer Namit Malhotra subsequently indicated that the film would open overseas on November 6 before arriving in Indian cinemas on November 8. The latest plan would do away with the staggered rollout altogether. Instead, Ramayana could open simultaneously across India and international markets on November 5, three days before Diwali. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Why November 5 Could Be A Major Box Office Move The proposed timing makes the release particularly interesting from a box-office perspective. Major Diwali releases in recent years have generally preferred arriving after the festival rather than immediately before it, as audiences are often occupied with puja and festivities on Diwali. Ramayana could take a different route. A November 5 opening would give the film three days in cinemas before Diwali, allowing it to build momentum through the weekend and into the festive period. November 9, the major holiday following Diwali, could then emerge as an especially significant day for its box-office collections. Dharma Productions And Sony Pictures Handle Distribution The film also has a major distribution network in place. According to the report, Dharma Productions will distribute Ramayana in India, while Sony Pictures has acquired the overseas distribution rights. A simultaneous November 5 rollout would therefore see the film begin its theatrical journey across domestic and international markets together. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The music is composed by A R Rahman and Hans Zimmer. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) A Two-Part Ramayana Saga Ramayana has been conceived as a two-part theatrical saga. The first instalment is scheduled for the Diwali 2026 period, while the second part is planned for Diwali 2027. For now, November 5 remains a reported release plan rather than an officially announced date. If finalised, the strategy would give one of the year's biggest Hindi films an extended festive box-office window stretching from the pre-Diwali period through the major post-Diwali holiday.

Hanuman Ansh 8th Weekend Box Office: Records Highest 8th Weekend for a Bollywood Film With ₹18.85 Cr, Becomes 19th to Cross ₹300 Cr Net

Here is how this story was supposed to go. A ₹2 crore devotional drama opens on roughly 250 screens, makes about ₹10 lakh on day one, gets squeezed out by bigger releases and quietly disappears. Fifty-two days later, Hanuman Ansh has collected ₹307.03 Cr net in India, and it crossed the ₹300 crore net mark on its eighth Sunday. Nobody in the trade saw that coming, least of all the people who booked the screens in the first week. The film completed 50 days on Friday, 25 September, and a lot of long-runners would be winding down by then. Hanuman Ansh did the opposite. Worldwide, it now stands at ₹401.20 Cr gross, made up of ₹362.70 Cr in India and ₹38.50 Cr from overseas. The overseas run only began on 11 September through Hombale Films, so that number is still young. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) The Eighth Weekend That Sealed It: ₹18.85 Crore Net Friday brought in ₹3.35 Cr net, a small 4.3% dip from Thursday's ₹3.50 Cr. Saturday jumped 94% to ₹6.50 Cr. Sunday added another 38.5% and landed on ₹9.00 Cr. That makes ₹18.85 Cr net for the weekend, in week eight, with Sunday alone nearly 2.7 times Friday. Occupancy tells the same story, moving from 27.44% on Day 50 to 44.04% on Day 51 and 53.33% on Day 52, while shows went up from 3,767 to 3,979 to 4,387 as exhibitors added screenings to keep up. The first two weekends were almost invisible, the third one showed the first signs of life, and from the fourth weekend the collections went up sharply. The sixth weekend at ₹51.50 Cr net was the peak. The seventh weekend brought ₹28.50 Cr, and the eighth added ₹18.85 Cr. Those are lower numbers, but for a film that is nearly two months old they are still very strong. Here is the path in order. D1 7 August: The Quiet Start Released on about 250 screens with an opening of around ₹10 lakh. The first week added up to barely a crore, and the screen count fell to around 40 in week two. W4 Weeks 3 and 4: Word of Mouth Takes Over The first three weeks together made only about ₹10 crore, then the audience showed up. Cinepolis, the distributor, kept adding screens until the film crossed 2,000. By the fourth Sunday the total stood at ₹40.13 crore. D26 1 September: ₹48.78 Crore Net The film was by now earning 28 times its budget. D30 5 September: Tax-Free in Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami watched the film in Dehradun and the state made it tax-free. D31 6 September: ₹100 Crore Net ₹22.75 crore that Sunday, taking the net total to ₹122.13 crore. The fifth weekend alone brought in about ₹49 crore, which put it ahead of Dhurandhar: The Revenge at the same stage. D36 11 September: ₹200 Crore Worldwide Gross ₹205.15 crore worldwide, the same day the film opened overseas. It became the smallest-budget film to enter the ₹200 crore club, well below The Kashmir Files. W8 Week 8: Biggest Week and Weekend Since Week 5 Since its fifth week, Hanuman Ansh has been among the highest week-wise collections of all time for Bollywood films, and it has stayed in that list ever since. Even in day-wise collection, its numbers from that point on have ranked in the top 5. D52 27 September: ₹300 Crore Net It is now the 19th film of all time to reach ₹300 crore net, and only the third of 2026 after Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Border 2. It has also become the highest Hindi net earners, it has moved past Padmaavat (₹302.15 crore) and Sultan (₹300.45 crore). D52 27 September: ₹400 Crore Worldwide Gross Tt is the third highest-grossing Indian film of 2026, ahead of Toxic, Peddi and Jana Nayagan. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Where the Crowds Are: Region-Wise Occupancy, Hindi (2D) Sunday's occupancy was healthy across the board, and one market stood out. Bengaluru ran at 75.8% across 111 shows, with afternoon shows at 89% and evening shows at 92%. Jaipur came next at 60.5% across 79 shows. The big metros held up well too, with Pune at 49.0%, Mumbai at 48.3% across 301 shows, NCR at 47.5% across 650 shows and Lucknow at 46.3%. Ahmedabad is worth a look: it managed only 13.5% on Friday and finished Sunday at 43.5% across 199 shows. Kolkata (32.5%) and Surat (29.5%) remain the softer spots. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and presented by Namit Malhotra, the film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana and Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana. The newly released posters introduce Vicky in a striking and intense avatar while once again confirming that the romantic drama will arrive in theatres on January 21, 2027. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Vicky Kaushal Gets an Intense First Look The first poster features Vicky in an extreme close-up as he lights a cigarette, with smoke surrounding his face and a visibly rugged appearance that adds to the character's intensity. The second poster presents a completely different mood. Vicky is seen standing waist-deep in a pool while holding a large bouquet of white flowers. The softer setting contrasts sharply with the aggression of the first image, seemingly highlighting two very different emotional shades of his character. While the makers have yet to reveal substantial details about his role, the contrasting posters add further intrigue around the film. Woh deewana hai. After Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt's First Look In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War Unveiled

Mumbai, September 25 - Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War has unveiled Alia Bhatt's first look, offering another glimpse into the visual world of the much-awaited period romantic drama. The reveal comes as the makers begin introducing the film's principal characters ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on January 21, 2027. The film stars Alia alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Alia Bhatt Gets a Grand Bhansali-Style Look Alia's poster places her at the centre of an extravagant stage drenched in deep red and golden lighting. She is seen dressed in a wine-coded, embellished performance outfit, complemented by an elaborate feathered headpiece. The theatrical setting, spotlights and lavish production design give the poster the unmistakably grand visual treatment associated with Bhansali's films. The first look is notably different in mood from the posters featuring Ranbir Kapoor that were unveiled a day earlier. Ranbir's posters presented him in a vintage setting, with a bloodied, bruised look as he drove a classic car, hinting at the film's more intense story. The project also marks Vicky Kaushal's first film with Bhansali. The three actors have previously shared the screen in different combinations — Ranbir and Vicky appeared together in Sanju, while Alia and Vicky starred in Raazi and Ranbir and Alia featured in Brahmastra — but Love & War brings Ranbir, Alia and Vicky together in the same film for the first time. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) The makers have so far kept the central plot and character details largely under wraps. Reports have described the project as a period romantic drama set against the backdrop of war, with the relationship between the three central characters expected to drive the narrative. However, many specific details reported about their characters have not yet been officially confirmed by the makers. Love & War Release Date Love & War is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 21, 2027, placing it just ahead of the Republic Day weekend. The film is also slated for IMAX release. With Ranbir Kapoor's look already revealed and Alia Bhatt now getting her own character poster, attention will naturally turn to Vicky Kaushal’s first look as the makers continue rolling out the promotional campaign for one of Bhansali’s biggest upcoming films.

Hanuman Ansh Week 7 Box Office: Over ₹44 Cr, Highest 7th Week in Bollywood as Film Sets Weekly Record for 4th Straight Time

Seven weeks in, Hanuman Ansh is still setting records nobody thought a film could chase this deep into its run. After a sixth week that was already the highest ever recorded by a Bollywood film at that stage, the seventh week added a further ₹44.95 Cr net across Days 43–49 — enough to make it the highest-ever 7th week collection in Bollywood history, comfortably ahead of anything the industry has seen at this point in a film's theatrical life. Across 50,627 shows in Week 7, the film crossed both the ₹250 Cr India net mark and the ₹300 Cr India gross mark — both on Day 44, the 7th Saturday. Overseas markets stayed steady through the week too, adding ₹11.00 Cr across the seven days and taking the total overseas gross to ₹36.50 Cr. As of Day 49, Hanuman Ansh stands at ₹340.55 Cr India gross and ₹288.33 Cr India net, across a cumulative 2,06,539 shows — with worldwide gross now at ₹377.05 Cr. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) A Weekend Bump, Then a Familiar Weekday Slide The week followed the now-familiar shape: a modest Friday (₹5.00 Cr), a big jump into the weekend (+95.0% to ₹9.75 Cr on Saturday, then +41.0% to ₹13.75 Cr on Sunday), and a sharp weekday correction from Monday (-69.8% to ₹4.15 Cr). The rest of the week held in a narrow ₹3.65–4.90 Cr band through to Thursday. Hanuman Ansh BMS Ticket Sales: Crosses 70 Lakh, Needs Another 81,000 Tickets To Overtake Saiyaara And Enter Bollywood's Top 8

A film that made around ₹10 lakh on its opening day is now knocking on Saiyaara's door. Hanuman Ansh has sold 70,08,940 tickets on BookMyShow, which makes it the ninth biggest Hindi film on the platform and about 81,000 tickets short of Saiyaara's 7.09M. Border 2, a far bigger production on paper, sits below it at 5.41M. Seven weeks in, the sales haven't dried up. The film sold 1,18,170 tickets in the 24 hours to Day 47 and another 67,610 in the 24 hours to Day 48, even with Wednesday's occupancy sitting at 14.03%. At that pace, closing the gap to a Yash Raj romance reportedly made for ₹45 crore is a matter of days. Trade trackers put Hanuman Ansh's own budget at under ₹2 crore, and its first week netted just over ₹1 crore. Few people would have pencilled it in for a top-10 finish. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Where It Stands: Top 10 Bollywood Films by BMS Tickets Only eight Hindi films have sold more tickets on BookMyShow, and the two Dhurandhar films hold the top spots by a distance. Hanuman Ansh has already gone past Border 2 by about 1.6M tickets, and it has reached roughly half of what the first Dhurandhar sold and about 38% of Dhurandhar 2's total. That is a little over a day's worth of Wednesday-level sales. Even if daily numbers keep sliding through the weekend, the overtake should come well before the run winds down. The timeline is short. If sales simply hold at Wednesday's 67,610 a day, the film would cover the gap by Friday. Even a slower 40,000 tickets a day gets it there by Saturday, and weekends usually bring a spike in bookings. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Why a Top-10 Finish Matters for a Film This Size Hanuman Ansh, a devotional drama directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, opened on 7 August with barely any noise. The trajectory since then looks like word of mouth doing the work: ₹284.68 Cr India net, ₹336.20 Cr India gross and ₹371.95 Cr worldwide, all built on a film that trackers say cost under ₹2 crore. Once it passes Saiyaara, the next name on the list is Gadar 2 at 9.18M, which is about 2.2M tickets away and out of reach at the current pace. Eighth place looks like where Hanuman Ansh will settle, and for a film with this kind of start, that is a very high place to land. Hanuman Ansh has sold 70,08,940 tickets on BookMyShow so far, which is about 7.01 million. 2. Where does Hanuman Ansh rank among Bollywood films on BookMyShow? It is currently 9th on the list of top Bollywood BMS ticket sales, ahead of Border 2 (5.41M) and behind Saiyaara (7.09M). 3. When will Hanuman Ansh overtake Saiyaara on BookMyShow? The gap is about 81,000 tickets. At Wednesday's pace of 67,610 tickets a day, the film could pass Saiyaara within a couple of days, and even a slower pace should get it there within a week. 4. How many tickets did Hanuman Ansh sell on BookMyShow in the last 24 hours? Hanuman Ansh sold 67,610 tickets in the 24 hours up to Day 48, down from 1,18,170 tickets in the 24 hours up to Day 47. 5. Mirzapur The Movie Box Office Day 20: Collection Falls To ₹1.75 Cr As Third-Week Earnings Cool 61% Since Saturday

The third week of Mirzapur The Movie has followed a familiar pattern: a loud weekend, then a slow fade. After ₹5.00 Cr on the third Sunday, the film has settled into a narrow ₹1.75 to ₹2.15 Cr band, and on Wednesday it landed at the bottom of that range with ₹1.75 Cr net on Day 20. Overall attendance sank to 14.98% from 22.90% on Tuesday, with every slot lower than the day before. Hanuman Ansh Box Office: Day 48 Drops 23.5% To ₹3.75 Cr, Yet Creates New Hindi Record

Wednesday was the day Hanuman Ansh finally felt the weight of a seven-week run. After Tuesday's bounce, the film slipped to ₹3.75 Cr net on Day 48, a 23.5% fall from ₹4.90 Cr, with the show count trimmed to 7,358. It is a sizeable dip, but the number still sits in rare territory. It is the highest-ever Day 48 collection for a Hindi film, and Dhurandhar, the next best on the same day of its run, managed ₹1.15 Cr, barely a third of what Hanuman Ansh earned. The headline hides a sharper story underneath. Occupancy slid in every slot and in every region tracked, and the night shows, the film's strongest window on Tuesday at nearly 36%, fell to around 17%. Even so, the running tally keeps climbing: ₹336.20 Cr India gross, ₹284.68 Cr India net and ₹371.95 Cr worldwide, with overseas adding ₹1.00 Cr to reach ₹35.75 Cr. On BookMyShow, 67,610 tickets were sold in the last 24 hours, pushing the platform's lifetime count past 70 lakh (70,08,940). Udta Teer Trailer Out: Ayushmann Khurrana Plays Amnesiac Pakistani Spy in Spy-Comedy with Sara Ali Khan; Releases Oct 9

The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's upcoming film Udta Teer has finally landed, revealing a madcap espionage comedy built around a Pakistani spy, a lost memory and one rather inconvenient change of allegiance. Written and directed by Aakash Kaushik, the film is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide on October 9, 2026.The trailer was unveiled on September 23 and introduces Ayushmann as Bilal Ahmed, a highly trained Pakistani intelligence operative sent to India on a mission. Things go spectacularly off course after an explosion leaves Bilal with amnesia. Unable to remember who he really is, he begins believing that he is an Indian officer and finds himself working with India's Counter-Terrorism Squad. Udta Teer Trailer: Ayushmann Khurrana's Bilal Forgets Which Side He Is On The central joke of Udta Teer is established almost immediately. Pakistan sends Bilal to India as an operative, but after losing his memory, the spy retains his training while forgetting the very country he was working for. He consequently begins behaving like an Indian patriot and turns his skills against people who were originally on his own side.Sara Ali Khan plays an officer associated with the Indian Counter-Terrorism Squad and works alongside Bilal without initially knowing his real identity. The trailer uses that confusion to move between shootouts, explosions, physical comedy and Bilal's increasingly complicated attempts to make sense of who he is. Rather than approaching the India-Pakistan spy template as a conventional intelligence thriller, Aakash Kaushik appears to be using familiar espionage-film situations as the foundation for a broad comedy. The trailer even plays with some of the heightened patriotism normally associated with the genre, while keeping Bilal's identity crisis at the centre of the story. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) Aakash Kaushik Makes His Directorial Debut With Udta Teer Udta Teer is particularly significant for Aakash Kaushik as it marks his feature-film directorial debut. While this is his first film as a director, Kaushik is far from a newcomer to Hindi cinema and has spent more than a decade working as a screenwriter. His writing credits include films such as Housefull 4, Thank God, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He was associated with the story and screenplay of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and returned as a writer for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. More recently, he received a story credit on Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla in 2026. That background is particularly relevant to Udta Teer. Kaushik has frequently worked in films that combine larger-than-life situations with comedy, and his first directorial venture takes that sensibility into the spy genre. Ayushmann Khurrana's Recent Box Office Track Record Ayushmann was most recently seen theatrically in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, directed by Mudassar Aziz and co-starring Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi. Released on May 15, 2026, the romantic comedy finished with a ₹51.38 crore India net and ₹67.96 crore worldwide. Sara has previously found notable theatrical success in the comedy-drama space as well. Her 2023 film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, opposite Vicky Kaushal, finished its run with approximately ₹88.35 crore India net and ₹116 crore worldwide. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) The official trailer gives audiences their first proper look at Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in the film, mixing spy-film action with situational comedy, mistaken identity and political satire. What's Next For Ayushmann Khurrana After Udta Teer? Ayushmann will not have a long gap after Udta Teer. He is also headlining filmmaker Sooraj R. Barjatya's Yeh Prem Mol Liya, in which he stars opposite Sharvari. The film has Ayushmann stepping into the quintessential Prem space associated with several of Barjatya's best-known family dramas.Yeh Prem Mol Liya is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on November 27, 2026, giving Ayushmann two major releases within a span of less than two months.
