Pushpa: The Rise Music Hits One Billion Views On Youtube

Hyderabad, Jan 21, 2022: The Box office monster of the year starring the Icon star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, helmed by Sukumar won commercial and critical appreciation from fans and neutrals alike. The film was released on 17th December and has proved to be a Blockbuster with a glorious run across pan-India markets. ## Many in the trade believe that one of the biggest reasons for the massive success of Pushpa: The Rise was its chartbuster music album. The music of the film was given by Devi Sri Prasad Aka DSP. ## Soon after breaking many box office records, Pushpa: The Rise has also crossed One Billion views on the Aditya Music youtube channel across all the four languages of its release. ## The Action-thriller drama opened to earth-shattering numbers on December 17 2021 and had an excellent trend. Hyderabad, January 20 - Allu Arjun Starrer Pushpa: The Rise has become a monster hit at the Hindi box office with extraordinary trending across weeks. Pushpa: The Rise which started with a decent first-day figure of around 3cr, now has a chance to cross 100cr at the box office which will be an out-of-the-world achievement for the film and the makers. Pushpa: The Rise has also beaten the figures of Ranveer Singh's 83 in many markets now which is again a phenomenal achievement. Although 83 had underperformed at the box office due to the limited appreciation from the audience, beating a Hindi film in the main Hindi markets and that too being a dubbed film is something to be very proud of. In CP Berar, Pushpa: The Rise has gone over double-digit collections overall by collecting around 11cr, and 83 has been under 5cr. Exciting Update On Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa - The Rule' Cast, Plot Details Revealed

Hyderabad, January 20 - The blockbuster success of "Pushpa - The Rise", starring Allu Arjun, and Rashmika Mandanna has raised the expectation sky-high for its sequel, titled "Pushpa - The Rise". The fact that the makers didn't expect this much popularity of the film in other languages, especially in Hindi, where the movie becomes the bigger hit than the original Telugu version. ## Now, the makers are working on the second part of the film, and as per reports, it will be made on a bigger scale. The movie was supposed to go on floors in February this year, however, the makers have decided to change the plot to appeal to the Pan-India audience in a true sense.## According to reports, director Sukumar has decided to change the plot of "Pushpa - The Rule" vastly. The scripting of the second part is currently underway, and reportedly, it will include Allu Arjun's action sequence on a bigger scale. While most of the characters will continue, the second part will have one more antagonist apart from Fahadh Faasil. ## Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the female lead opposite Allu Arjun, recently revealed in an interview that the shoot of "Pushpa 2" will begin from March this year. However, it might be pushed to April as the script is not yet fully ready and will take some more time. ## During a recent interaction, director Sukumar revealed that if everything would go as per plans, "Pushpa - The Rule" might release on Christmas 2022 worldwide in multiple languages. Balakrishna's 'Akhanda' Completes 50 Days In Theatres Successfully

Chennai, Jan 20 (IANS) Director Boyapati Sreenu's 'Akhanda', featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead, has successfully completed a 50-day run in theatres.## Sources close to the unit claimed that the film had accomplished the feat in 103 centres. 'Akhanda', which has been made on a budget believed to be the highest ever for a Balakrishna film, has done a roaring business of Rs 200 crore. This includes theatrical gross and non-theatrical revenues.## Director Boyapati Sreenu and Balakrishna's combination is proving to be a formidable one as this is the third consecutive blockbuster that the two have managed to deliver together, the other two blockbusters being 'Simhaa' and 'Legend'.## The makers claim that 'Akhanda' has provided huge profits to not just the producer but all the distributors as well. The film has been doing exceptionally well overseas too. Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan's 'Acharya' To Get Support Of Salman Khan For Hindi Version!

Mumbai, January 19 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to team up with Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi in the upcoming Telugu film, "God Father", which is the remake of Malayalam hit "Lucifer". It will be the first time when two superstars of their respective industries will share the screen space. Salman Khan will shoot for his portion towards the end of this month. ## Meanwhile, Salman Khan will also lend his support in promoting Chiranjeevi's much-awaited "Acharya", which is slated to release on April 1st. Salman shares a very good rapport with Chiranjeevi's family that when he visits Hyderabad, he lives with Chiranjeevi and his family. ## While Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan gearing up for the release of "Acharya", it is said that Salman has opted to lend his star power to the promotion of the father-son team’s big-budget project. Ravi Teja's 'Ravanasura' Begins Filming

Hyderabad, Jan 19 (IANS) Filming of director Sudheer Varma's much-awaited Telugu action entertainer 'Ravanasura', featuring Ravi Teja in the lead, has begun and is on in full swing.## The film was launched in a grand fashion on the festival day of Sankranthi. Megastar Chiranjeevi was the chief guest at the event. At the launch, the makers of the film had made it clear that full-fledged shooting would start soon.## True to their word, shooting has now begun. Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' Hindi Release Plans Locked

Mumbai, January 19 - Allu Arjun's Telugu blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" (2020) is gearing up the release of its Hindi version on January 26. After the unpreceded success of "Pushpa - The Rise" in Hindi belts, Allu Arjun proved his stardom in Hindi and now, the makers want to cash in the opportunity with one of his biggest blockbusters. ## Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms in association with AA Films acquired the Hindi dubbing rights of "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo". Normally, the dubbed versions of South Indian films do not release theatrically, however, the "Pushpa" success has installed enough confidence in makers to go for the big. ## In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Manish Shah shared the release plans of the dubbed version of Telugu superstar's second highest-grosser of all time. He also called AVPL the biggest non-Baahubali hit down South. The producer has leid high hopes with this film as well and is hoping that AVPL will also create the same success as "Pushpa". ## Manish Shah revealed that the Hindi theatrical trailer of "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" will be released on January 20. The teaser was unveiled on January 18. As for the screen count, the producer put the record straight and said that they are targetting a single screen audience and eyeing around 2000 screens in the country.## Interestingly, "Pushpa - The Rise" has had the highest screen count for the Hindi version was around 1650, so releasing AVPL on 2000 screens will be a more than handful if it catches the attention of the audience. 'Pushpa - The Rise' Continues To Light Up Hindi Box Office Despite OTT Premiere

Mumbai, January 17 - Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise" is proving to be a long racehorse in the Hindi version. Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa" hasn't been affected by the early OTT premiere, especially in the Hindi version as it continues to light up the box office. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" had a digital premiere of the Hindi version on January 14 on Amazon Prime Video after 28 days of theatrical release. Before "Pushpa" was started premiering on Prime Video, it had already netted over Rs. 84 crores in Hindi, making it the 3rd biggest Hindi total during the covid-19 pandemic. ## However, even after the OTT release, the Hindi version of the film continues to draw footfalls at the cinema halls as it netted approx Rs. 4.50 crores in the 5th weekend at the box office, taking the total collections to approx. Rs 89 crore. With no competition at the moment, the movie is taking the full use of a clear path and attracting people to theaters despite the covid-19 3rd wave and OTT premier. ## Maharashtra and Gujrat are driving the Hindi biz of "Pushpa - The Rise" and these two states are key in the film's race to enter Rs. 100 crores club. Though the 100 crores milestone is looking far from reality with the things at the moment, it could still have a last big shot if the covid-19 situation doesn't get worsen. ## With the success of "Pushpa" in Hindi, Allu Arjun proved his stardom in Hindi belts. Over the years, the actor's movies have drawn the attention of Hindi audiences on television, and "Pushpa" was the first major test to prove his stardom right. Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan's 'Acharya' To Release On April 1st, 2022

Hyderabad, January 16 - Megastar Chiranjeevi, and Ram Charan's much-awaited "Acharya" has been postponed to April 1st, 2022 due to the 3rd covid-19 wave. The makers had announced the postponement of "Acharya" on January 15, and a day later, the action thriller gets a new release date on April 1st. It was supposed to release on February 4. ## The April 1st release of "Acharya" means Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaaru Paata" will be postponed as speculated earlier. SVP, which is currently slated for April 1st, is yet to be completed and is unlikely to meet the April 1st deadline. It was recently reported that the makers now looking for an August 5, 2022, release for this mega-budget film. ## "Acharya", meanwhile, has already been postponed multiple times. It was originally slated for April 29, 2021, release, but was postponed to February 2022. Chiranjeevi Meets Andhra CM Over Movie Ticket Pricing Row

Amaravati, Jan 13 (IANS) Amid a raging row between the Andhra Pradesh government and Tollywood over movie ticket prices, megastar Chiranjeevi called on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy here on Thursday.## On the invitation of the Chief Minister, Chiranjeevi had a meeting with him over lunch at the latter's official residence at Tadepalli here. After reaching Gannavaram airport by a special flight from Hyderabad, the popular actor and former Central minister drove straight to the CM's house.## After the meeting that lasted for one-and-a-half hours, the actor told reporters at the airport that Reddy responded positively to the issues raised by him on behalf of the film industry, exhibitors, and theatre owners.## Terming the meeting fruitful, Chiranjeevi hoped that all the problems will be solved soon in a manner acceptable to all. Chiranjeevi said the Chief Minister assured him that a mutually acceptable decision will be taken.## Chiranjeevi quoted Reddy as saying that he will not take any one-sided decision. The CM also assured that nobody needs to feel insecure.## Reddy told Chiranjeevi that he will convey the issues raised by him to the committee constituted by the government, and a draft will be prepared following which Chiranjeevi will be invited again for consultation before the issuance of a government order.## The actor said he would discuss the draft with all the stakeholders in the industry, and he would be happy to take them along to meet the Chief Minister next time. Chiranjeevi also appealed to all in the industry to avoid issuing statements on the issue. "I am making a request not as an industry elder, but as a son of the industry," he said.## The meeting and Chiranjeevi's appeal came amid a bitter war of words between some Tollywood personalities and Cinematography Minister Perni Nani and leaders of the ruling YSR Congress party. Several producers, actors, exhibitors, and theatre owners have slammed the state government for slashing movie ticket prices, which has led to the closure of some cinemas.## Chiranjeevi said he apprised Reddy of the concerns of all in the wake of the uncertainty prevailing for the last few months. He said Reddy invited him as he wanted to hear the other side of the story.## While appreciating the government's intention to make entertainment affordable for the common man, Chiranjeevi put forward the problems of the film industry, exhibitors, theatre owners, and others.## "The film industry is not just glamour or rosy as it appears. There is hard work of many workers behind it. The majority of them work on daily wages," he said. The actor recalled that during the pandemic, many workers suffered a lot for four months as they did not get any work.## He said that similarly, workers in theatres are worried about losing their jobs due to closures. He claimed that the Chief Minister also responded positively for allowing theatres to have the fifth show on special occasions.## Chiranjeevi said he gave constructive suggestions and the Chief Minister wrote down some points. Ravi Teja's 'Ravanasura' To Release In September 2022

Hyderabad, January 14 - Telugu star Ravi Teja teamed up with director Sudheer Varma for his next titled, "Ravanasura". The movie was announced in October 2021 and the title look of the film was unveiled on November 5, 2021, with a tagline - heroes don't exist. ## The grand pooja ceremony of Ravanasura was held today, on Sankranthi (January 14th) at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the ceremony among the other cast and crew of the film. ## Ravanasura is billed to be an action thriller with a novel concept in which, Ravi Teja will be featuring in never seen before role. He plays the role of a lawyer. The makers also roped actor Sushanth A, who was seen in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Ichata Vahanamulu Nilupa Radu, to play a prominent role as Ram.## The movie will also star Daksha Nagarkar, Megha Akash in key roles. Tollywood Actor Mohan Babu Announces University Named After Him
