Early Estimates: Waltair Veerayya Scores Excellent Second Day; Veera Simha Reddy Does Well On The Third Day
Hyderabad, January 14 - Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja's action drama Waltair Veerayya has had an excellent opening day at the domestic box office for approx. 35 crores. The movie managed to outdo conservative opening-day expectations and put up very good numbers. ## Directed by Bobby, "Waltair Veerayya" got mixed to positive responses and despite that, the movie sees a phenomenal hold on the second day. As per the early estimates, the film grossed 20+ crores on its second day, dropping below 40%. The share collection on the second day is approx. 13 crores.## The total domestic gross collection of "Waltair Veerayya" after two days is approx. 56 crores gross while the share collection is around 36 crores, which is approx. 40% of the total business of the movie. The advance booking for Sunday is excellent for the movie, indicating another big day at the box office for it. ## Meanwhile, Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy had a huge drop of approx. 75% on the second day for 10 crores gross. It witnesses a good jump of around 40% on its 3rd day for an estimated 14+ crores gross. The total gross collection for the movie now stands at around 63 crores after 3 days while the share collection is around 38 crores. ## Both "Waltair Veerayya" and "Veera Simha Reddy" are getting advantage of the Sankranthi holidays with the former clearly showing signs of audiences' acceptance after the big opening days advantages.
