Mumbai, November 7 - In an exciting development, actor Sidharth Malhotra has been confirmed to headline a jungle-based folk thriller film, titled VVAN- Force of The Forrest. This will be produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever (TVF). ## The movie was announced on the occasion of the Chhath festival with an interesting motion poster that begins with a warning - Entry into the forest is prohibited after sunset, as a man running away from a temple in the jungle with a flambeau. ## Panchayat fame Deepak Kumar Mishra will direct VVAN and be released on Chhath Puja 2025 in theatres worldwide. Mumbai, November 7 - Ajay Devgn's Singham Again has a very good first week at the box office with approximately 173 crores net collection. After the fantastic weekend, the cop action drama held well during the weekdays despite the mixed reception and clash. ## The Rohit Shetty's directorial, on its first Thursday/7th day, scored an estimated 8.50-9 crores net collection, pushing the total first-week collection to 173 crores net. This is the first week total for Ajay Devgn, beating Golmaal Again which minted approximately 136 crores net. ## Since there is no new release this week, Singham Again can have a second weekend of around 30-35 crores which is about a 70% drop from the first weekend. It is likely to cross the 200 crores net mark by the second Sunday and then, it will be interesting to see how the movie fares thereafter.## Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is having a much better trend at the box office and has another solid day. On its first Thursday, the film is looking to score in the range of 9-9.50 crores net, as per estimates. Mumbai, November 6 - The festive vibes still benefitting both Diwali Bollywood releases, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which continue to do well at the box office during the weekdays. Mumbai, November 3: Singham Again, despite competing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, opened robustly at the box office on November 1, 2024, with an impressive India net collection of 43.70 Cr (producers figure). However, discrepancies in reported figures have led to speculation about the authenticity of these numbers, with some trade analysts citing collections between 38 Cr to 41 Cr for Hindi net. ## Our analysis reveals that the film's tracked gross collection from 13,810 shows on its opening day was 43.44 Cr. Typically, there's a 2%-5% variance between online ticket sales data and actual attendance due to last-minute bookings or ticket sales at the box office after online platforms close. This adjustment pushes the estimated online collection to between 44.30 Cr and 45.61 Cr. ## Moreover, the offline market, which includes single-screen theaters not represented in online booking systems, adds another layer to the collection tally. Historical data from blockbuster releases like "Jawan," "Gadar 2," and "Stree 2" suggest that offline collections can significantly boost total figures. For instance, "Stree 2" tracked collection was 47 Cr gross but later adjusted to nearly 65 Cr Gross due to offline sales. ## The offline market for the Hindi belt is around 20 Cr Gross. Given the Diwali release and competition, it's estimated that "Singham Again" captured about 11 Cr from the offline market, split in a 55:45 ratio with "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3." With an overall occupancy rate of 65% and considering data from over 100 single-screen theaters, we estimate "Singham Again" garnered approximately 7.50 Cr from this segment. Mumbai, November 2 - The festival of love and lights, Diwali 2024 illuminated the Indian box office with all the major films across different languages performing exceptionally well. For Bollywood, it is Singham Again and Bhool Bhualaiyaa 3 which stormed the BO to create a new record. ## The Ajay Devgn-starrer cop action drama scored a huge 43.50 crores net collection on its first day which is the biggest opening for the actor and director Rohit Shetty. On the other hand, the horror-comedy starring Kartik Aaryan too wasn't far behind as it minted a massive 35.50 crores net opening day, again the biggest for the actor and director Anees Bazmee. ## The combined total of 79 crores of Singham 3 and BB3 along with another 1 crore net from other movies makes November 1, 2024, the biggest day ever at the Hindi box office. Previously, the biggest single-day collection in Hindi was on September 10, 2023, with approximately 77 crores net when Jawan was released.## Top 3 biggest single-day net collections in Hindi - ## 1. 1 November 2024 - 80 Cr Approx. Mumbai, November 1 - The festival of lights, Diwali brings joy to the career of actor Kartik Aaryan who has his biggest Friday at the box office in the form of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which has taken a sensational start domestically. ## Released against the mighty Singham Again, the horror-comedy had a fantastic start in the morning and was even better in some parts of the country than the Ajay Devgn-starrer. BB3 kept the momentum going throughout the day though Singham Again took the lead in the second half of the day. ## BB3 got fewer screens than Singham Again but it managed to score higher pre-sales and was all about giving tough fights and coming close to the action entertainer as far as the opening is concerned and it managed to do that to some extent as early estimates suggest the first-day collection in the range of 35 crores net which is a sensational start. ## The horror-comedy performed best in West Bengal as well as Delhi, UP, and East Punjab. Box Office: 'Singham Again' Opening Day/First Friday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 1 - One of the most-anticipated movies of the year, director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again lives up to the expectations and scores an excellent opening at the domestic box office by surpassing all expectations. ## Starring Ajay Devgn in the title role, Singham 3 was released in a major clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and despite that, it has emerged as the biggest opener for the actor by a long margin. According to the early estimates, the movie is expected to score 43-44 crores net on its first day. ## The movie had fantastic pre-sales and due to the Diwali holiday factor and the genre, it managed to score solid spot bookings to push the opening past 40 crores net. 'Singham Again' Secures IMAX Release; To Have A Wide Release Internationally
